Ho iscritto mio figlio di 6 anni alla summer school della Saint Denis con il proposito di fargli finire i compiti d'inglese per le vacanze e in generale fargli rinfrescare la lingua prima dell'inizio della scuola, accettando di pagare 200€ per una settimana contro i 130/140 di media richiesti da altre realtà, confidando nel fatto che si tratta di una scuola bilingue. Purtroppo la scelta si è rivelata pessima, considerando che il programma settimanale pubblicizzato, che prevedeva ogni giorno uno sport diverso, compiti e musical in inglese si è rivelato farlocco. Il basket l hanno giocato con un canestro di plastica giocattolo appeso a un palo in un cortiletto, i compiti li ha fatti solo il primo giorno, l'inglese si è rivelato totalmente assente (una delle ragazze che li seguiva cercava i termini sullo smartphone...) e il primo giorno li hanno lasciati senza merenda mattutina e non hanno avvisato le famiglie. Ma la cosa peggiore è che il bambino è stato bullizzato da ragazzi di 10 e 11 anni, abbiamo segnalato la cosa e non è servito a nulla, perché lo stesso giorno della segnalazione si è verificato un episodio di accerchiamento e percosse di cui nessuno si è accorto. Nonostante abbiamo fornito i nomi dei ragazzi coinvolti, al telefono il personale della scuola prima ha negato, poi ha detto che avrebbero indagato, ma non è seguito alcun riscontro. Attenti a questi lestofanti.

The Saint Denis School was founded in the late seventies in the precollina of Turin, with the goal, pioneering for those times, to experience a bilingual Italian-English educational path . In 1981 he settled along the banks of the river Po, in the heart of the Crimean area, inside the charming building that still houses its historical site and which is now flanked by another important site, in the heart of Turin. It is therefore an international environment in which cosmopolitan air is breathed thanks to the presence of English and French mother-tongue teachers, as well as Italian teachers with a degree in Languages and with experience in teaching abroad. In kindergarten all morning teaching activities are carried out in English by mother tongue teachers, for a total of n. 20 hours per week . The afternoon teaching activities are, instead, in Italian, by the teachers who own the section. In the "Preschool" section, the practice of English is accompanied by the approach, in some hours a week, to the French language, always with mother tongue teachers. In primary school, from first grade to fifth grade, pupils are dedicated in equal measure to the study of the Italian language and the English language, alongside the French language. The two foreign languages are given for a total of n. 15 hours per week .

My daughter started this school age 3.5 in the middle of the pandemic and coming from London. She was very attached to home. The school worked so hard with her and with patience she now loves going to school and can’t wait to go. Some times now I struggle to get her to come home!!!! The pandemic hasn’t been easy on the kids but this school has been brilliant helping the kids get through it with so many regulations in place from the government it’s really been hard times.

Its my daughter's second year at this school , the staff are kind and polite , she has being learning a lot , playing with her friends and enjoying the many activities that this school can offer , like swimming classes ,and others she can also speak English and Italian so if you are looking for a good school I really recommend it .thanks

Our family had a very bad experience in this school and we moved our children very fast out of there. I cannot recommend it even if it were the last school in Turin!
