I just saw it again on TV the commercial said St. Luke’s has the fastest stroke Team in the Midwest. I laid in the hospital for five days my wife and I both telling them I was stroking, and they said it was just post Anastasia it would pass. Permanent memory damage and other anomalies. Thank you St Luke’s., keeper of the false advertising! They also electronically scrubbed and redacted some of my medical records during those five days when we ask for them. We got a disk with 471 pages of my medical records for the five days I was there.. not one word was said in those records of the many many times that we told the staff and two doctors I was having a stroke problem. Again, thank you St. Luke’s for being dishonest and literally criminal.—— a few days after I posted this scathing review they actually answered my review with a paragraph that said how sorry they were that I thought I received that kind of treatment and they told me to please call the patient advocacy department and talk to one of the special advocates—-I did speak to a gentleman for about 20 minutes describing what happened he never said one word and at the end of the call he could not even tell me my name he had taken no notes. Nothing he just sat there like a bump on a log, probably sleeping while I was on speakerphone, so it doesn’t do any good to file a grievance of any kind. I just hope people out there believe my story and steer clear of Saint Lukes on the Plaza. By the way I did have eight or nine exceptional registered nurses attending me . And I’m sure they charted and posted everything that my wife and I said that it got electronically scrubbed off of my records and there is no record of anything I said in the hospital two days after they whisk me out of St Luke’s, I went to my hospital which is North Kansas City Hospital. They had me in a CAT scan machine within 30 minutes. I had a neurologist within that time and a diagnosis of three strokes, thank you North Kansas City Hospital7-18-2023 they are still running the commercial that says St. Louis has the fastest stroke team and the best/team in the midwest after letting me stroke for five days after my wife a registered nurse for over 49 years and I were telling them, I was having strokes they released me, I went to North Kansas City hospital, almost immediately, I was diagnosed with three strokes and some fairly severe damage from them ! I really do wish they would take that commercial off of television. That says they are the top/Institute in the midwest. They wouldn’t know a stroke if it bit them in the butt. I would not dare throw the nurses under the bus. I had a total of nine nurses that took very good care of me, and I believe they also reported and filled out my records the way they were supposed to saying that the patient is suffering stroke like symptoms I’m glad to see, I believe the nurses have more scruples and integrity than the medical staff and management and that goes clear to the top which I have already been. I am just stating that I know they electronically scrubbed my record hard drive and desk before they ran me a copy of the over 470 pages of nurses reports. . I sincerely hope that someone at that institution will call me and talk to me about my horrible experience. They don’t have anything to be scared of now. The statute of limitations has already passed, but I do want them to know that they are crooked, and the people that they work for our fraudulent and thieves and criminals. Liars liars what they did was criminal and there is nothing I can do about it except suffer my strokes.

I'd give em less if I could. They're a joke. My mom got admitted to the ER and fifteen hours later that's where she still was. I asked a "medical professional", and I use that term as loose as possible, especially with these people, when they would do anything significant she had no answers. I asked her if I should take my mom to a different hospital so she could actually receive some help, no answer. Gotta be the laziest hospital staff in the metro, I saw every single "nurse" playing on their phones more than once while sitting there. After sitting there for multiple hours with a fractured sternum, I asked the lady at the desk if they were gonna maybe help her as she sat there struggling to breathe and crying and this lady gave me the most indifferent response she wouldn't even look at me "they'll get to you when they get you"....so much for being trained professionals. It's also blatantly obvious they've paid to manipulate their online star rating by paying "local guides" for non descriptive five star reviews. Take those out and this place has like a 2.5 average star rating

So far this is the best ER experience - I got right in - perhaps I was lucky - and I found staff to be overall caring and attentive despite the business of the department. I was not thrown on a bed in the hallway - unlike St Lukes north - and staff was friendly and addressed all needs and concerned. I believe this experience is definitely worthy of five stars!

I was in the nsicu for 2 days . The care here was spectacular! Couldn't ask for a better experience. Thankyou staff you made a bad situation the best it could be . Keep up the good work ! The only complaint is the bathroom situation! Please at least put up a curtain for privacy .
