WORST SERVICE EVER!! - the waiter took super long to write down our orders and still got all of them wrong. the water he gave us tasted like a dirty childrens pool. at first he gave us two coffees, which we didn‘t order and just said "uhhh" while placing them on our table. he then left, came back and took the coffees to another table. then my pancakes arrived which didn‘t have icecream so i had to ask for it. then my friends ham and cheese croissant arrived without ham and chesse… when she kindly asked for the ham and cheese the waiter rolled his eyes at her. the pancakes tasted like pancake mix. DO NOT GO HERE this one old man also kept switching between all the cafes on the street, working at every single one as a waiter, barista and manager at the same time.

One of the more disappointing meals I had while in Sydney. Ordered the fish and chips with an iced latte. Fish came in the form of what appeared to be fish fingers, reminiscent to what you’d find in the frozen section of the grocery. Chips were crisp but lacked seasoning and iced latte tasted diluted. Instead of the homemade tartar sauce mentioned on the menu the meal was served with Masterfoods tartar sauce packets. I paid just shy of $40 for this - overpriced for what you receive. On the plus side there’s a great view and convenient location for beach goers.

COCKROACH IN FOOD- DO NOT RECOMMEND! We came here for a lunch and I ordered a salad. Halfway through my salad I realised there was a cockroach which looked like it had been cooked with the meat in my salad. Prior to this we were given water glasses which were filthy. When we asked the waiter for clean glasses, she was very rude and slammed them on the table upon her return- only to find that the second and third batch of glasses were also filthy (and I mean disgusting!). When we informed staff that there was a cockroach in the salad the initial rude waitress was dismissive and unapologetic. THE WORST PLACE I HAVE DINED IN SYDNEY- DO NOT RECOMMEND!

great place for a quick bite to eat along our way down the Coogee + Bondi walking track. i ordered the chicken tacos that were good and tasteful with a fried chicken strip , lettuce mix greens and a drizzled sauce, pretty good sized and they came with “chips” ( fries in america ) my husband ordered an açaí bowl that was a pretty large size with coconut flakes , strawberries & bananas along with chia seeds and drizzled with honey.

The kindest of staff, Fine coffee and food. We took our birthday boy puppy for a walk and decided to have a lazy Sunday brunch at Salina Cafe which was a totally random choice but it sure did make our day happier! The wait-lady was super attentive and took extra measures when we asked what chilli flakes they used and she was kind enough to give us an ample amount of the flakes and was happy to share the brand. The food and drinks were very good and you can’t fault the view of Bronte. Defo coming back!

This place has gone downhill fast. I wrote them a great review 3 months ago. But it's terrible now. The Falafal bowl was horrible, dry and almost burnt falafel cooked in ransit oil, no greens, no grains, just some humus and cooked pumpkin, picked cabage and supermarket flat bread. The hygiene also looks questionable, dirty tables and mirror and windows. Luckily the coffee was good

The old cappuccino test today. It's actually quite nice but I did use a lot of sweetener. They're the only people that use Little Marionette coffee here. Services isn't that great. But it is a quiet morning. Much more expensive than their neighbours. Overpriced for what you get. I don't think the cafe is very clean because it attracts so many flies. No other place I saw had flies on their menus, or anywhere else, even jsut next door at Pure Bronte. I will go there tomorrow.

New owners and it's still excellent. Great food and coffee after a sunrise swim. Lots of cafes to pick from and I've been to all along the strip and I definitely like this one a lot, good atmosphere and the price and food options are great, staff and service also very good. On a sunny morning I'd recommend coming here.

Used to be great. Sadly now average coffee and poor food. I had the barramundi which had a strange taste and was not as advertised on the menu - raw onion and pale tomatoes in a pretend salsa instead of the carrot quinoa. The Brontë parade used to be full of great cafes and Salina was great but now very disappointing- won’t be back.

The food is not Good for what you pay for, we order the chicken pasta and fish and chips., The fish doesn't comes with any sauce except for lemon., The pasta is good but the chicken has a bit of spoiled smell and taste., I personally would not go back here, Its too expensive for the quality of food given and service provided., Just a heads up!

Delicious food and great service. We arrived here on a Sunday morning, it was super busy, but took us less than 5 min to get a table. We ordered coffees and the breakfast burger - it was super yummy (check the pics below). I’ll definitely come back and I would easily recommend this place.

Terrible experience and service. We waited over 40 min. The food never arrived. When we asked for an update, we were told the delay was because we ordered after everyone else, even though no one was there when we ordered . Very rude and aggressive service.

This little cafe once a favourite of locals has changed hands about a year ago and since then it’s been a gradual slide down hill with service and food quality. Such a shame really…it’s the middle of the day now on a Thursday and the place looks like it’s all closed up and shut down.

  • Ida Reiser

Service was terrible, never experienced something like that! We constantly got the wrong food brought to our table and had to ask the waiter to change it… he seemed annoyed. The glasses provided were dirty and water tasted bad. The food was average but a bit overpriced.

I ordered avo feta smashed. It was really good in taste as well as the customer service was superb. Recommended shop to visit.

Good coffee , they use the Little Marionette beans and the milk is smooth and fluffy. The BLT & Bacon N Egg rolls are made with fresh buns & the bacon is crispy. They get it there. It’s always busy but worth the wait.

It is the best restaurant in Brontë, I love their food, their coffees and especially the attention of Natalia and Paola. Thank you very much for your good service.

Stopped here for a quick bite after walking from Bondi Beach. We opted for the açai bowl. It was a very generous portion and included lots of granola, strawberries and banana. Probably should include more açai!

Maybe a third of a chicken breast in mine and my mate's chicken burger. I asked for more and in fairness they gave me more but it came after everyone's meals were finished. Certainly not the place it was.

3.5 Stars. Expensive given the location and view of the water. Food is a little underwhelming given the price. Service is solid.

Really nice breakfast, had the corn and polenta fritters with salmon so delicious. Coffee was great too!
