I cant say enough about this shop! I live in the area and walk past Salt & Honey often. Each time, I find myself captivated as I pass the storefront window looking in at all the treasures. Today I finally went inside. It was better than expected. Even the experience of shopping was remarkable. Everything from the lighting, to the layout, music, and scents...all of it was inviting and cozy. I almost expected a cute little grandma to pop up passing out sugar cookies and hugs. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience of just being in the store! The merchandise is fantastic and unique. Super hip and funky, in a good way, with an eclectic display of high quality items (most look local!). The items have meaning and meaning is everything! It's been a long time since I've loved a shop or shopping experience, and they provided both. Well done, Salt & Honey Market!

This shop features a variety of local artisans and every year has a holiday market where they have new vendors every week! By shopping here you are shopping local, shopping small businesses and supporting local art and crafters in Utah. They recently opened a new location at Fashion Place Mall that is smaller than their 9th and 9th store but just as awesome. This is a local women run business and they continue to deliver the best service and offer a great location for other small business owners to sell their products. Think of it as the best of Etsy but with food too, all wrapped up and placed in one beautiful store. I love both locations and congratulate the owners for starting a retail store like this. You must shop here this holiday and next holiday season!

Awesome local market where you can buy from local makers YEAR round now! They are open full time but currently have the Holiday market going on which is super fun and highly recommend checking it out for all your holiday gift wants and needs. The owners are all super sweet and down to earth. I always recommend people to this store because it is such a treasure and hidden gem. I found out about it a little over a year ago before I was in the market myself. I won a giveaway on Instagram and ended up buying a ton more items just because the store was so cute and has so much small business support to it.

Salt & Honey has only gotten better. I want everything in this store. But one of the best experiences I had was that I went in recently to find a very specific candle (Smells Good Candle Co.) and they hadn't yet put their inventory out yet. They could see I was disappointed and went to get the candles that they hadn't put out on the shelves yet and let me look through all the scents. This was excellent customer service, and I could tell they really care about their products and patrons!

This place is SO CUTE. They have tons of different items from different vendors including clothes, jewelry, candles, art, decor, the list goes on! It was like going to a festival with vendors, but having it all in one cute store instead. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The set up of the stores and windows was beautiful. I would recommend coming here. It is a great place to find a gift for a friend with the variety of items that they sell.

Salt and Honey is kind of a unique place. They offer items made by local people, and they have a little bit of everything. From jewelery, to sweet treats, to books and art and everything in between. You can shop much more "local" than this, and there is plenty to choose from here. Keep a look out for their events, when you get opportunities to find out about some of the talent the display, and find out more about the makers scene.

I love this shop! It's affordable for small businesses to participate which is just not the case in many farmers markets now a days. Some places charge as much as $500 for a weekend making it nearly impossible for a small home based business to afford. Salt and honey provides a space at an affordable price in a well trafficked location. They have all sorts of goodies from all over the state and things are constantly coming in.

Prepared to spend quite a bit of money. Ran in from the poring rain. Door was not closed or locked. We were then asked to leave back into the rain, because the store was only open to vendors. The employee was then not able to tell us when the would open the next day. From what I could tell the merchandise was great but I am so upset with the customer service we received, I will never shop nor recommend to anyone else.

Salt and Honey is one of my favorite boutiques in Salt Lake. Any time I'm in the area I make it a point to stop by! They are a one-stop shop for curated handmade and vintage goods. Stickers, jewelery, plants, clothing, and all kinds of other beauties abound within the treasure trove of Salt and Honey Market. Walk the rest of Harvey Milk Boulevard for delicious yummies after shopping!

Love that stores like this exist in cities. So fun to see lots of local makers in one spot. Lots of great gifts and special items. The staff was friendly and the store is clean and well organized. Actually a very large store with a clearance area upstairs. Art, jewelry, clothing and decor something for everyone! Located in a very trendy area with lots of great shops and restaurants.

Went into the fashion place location and had a terrible experience. When we entered the store were not greeted. After looking around at their products we noticed that we were being followed around. They gave us the impression that they thought we would steal something. Specifically when we went into the back end of the store. First and last time in this store... very disappointing.

Very nice place and i picked up a few things. I thought everything was hand made..maybe i am wrong there. Anyway i bought a very sweet planter/ small cup ($14) and it says “made in Taiwan” i do like it but bought it thinking a local artist made it, not something i could have picked up in Target. Nice place but i was under the impression everything was fairly handmade.

I really love this shop! It has an eclectic variety of homemade crafts and arts from several different Utah artists. Its like Etsy, except its an actual store. If you are visiting SLC, skip the souvenir shops and get your stuff from here. I go to this store for gifts and decorations. It is my favorite store in the Gateway.

I LOVE salt and honey. I always tell everyone I know to go and shop there, especially for cute gifts. I’ve been going here since they were just a pop up market during the holidays and I’m so glad they’ve been so successful, and that I’m able to shop here year round! AND you’re supporting local artists when you shop here!

I was looking for a vintage shop which no longer exists in brick and mortar when I came across this spot. It is filled with unique fun items, jewelry, clothing, seasonal items, and art. It has mostly locally made items by Utah artists. The inventory and artists change often so you have to return to see what's new.

A very cool store with items from lots of local creators and artisans. The inventory ranges from stickers to vintage home decor to jewelry. Everything is well-priced and the staff is very helpful. It's a great shop to pop into on 9th and 9th. I would highly recommend this store for unique gifts and souvenirs.

At first I thought that it was a great store so small and pretty and calm and then i get out and open my reusable straw and the magnet in the lid thats supposed to keep it closed was already falling out of the top of the cap SO FRUSTRATED I didn't spend 20$ for broken merchandise NOT COMING BACK!!! …

This is such a lovely market! I always find more than what I am looking for (bittersweet) and love being able to support local small businesses. They have a beautiful selection of jewelry, art, and other handmade/handcrafted things. Their staff is very personable and I just keep coming back for more.

Salt and Honey now carries books from The Book Lady's Daughter. I LOVE her selection of children's books. I was an elementary school teacher and now I'm a stay at home mom. The selection of books are perfect for the classroom and so sweet and fun as a mom. Highly recommend her selection of books!

I love this market so much! I took my 15 yo daughter to buy Christmas presents and she found something for everyone on her list. The pricing is pretty varied which is nice. I found a cool vintage dress for a great price. It’s all local which is great. Lots of fun and unique items.

Went upstairs to look at the children’s shop...clerk looked right at me and couldn’t trouble herself to acknowledge me or offer a greeting...her coworker didn’t say anything either. Rude and unfriendly atmosphere. A greeting isn’t above you..it’s called customer service.

There is NO SALT OR HONEY YET, they have country/homemade style things. VERY NICE STORE. I was hoping for gourmet salts which is why I went in and they are planning on getting salt from Utah later but it didn't sound like they were going to have more than one.

This shop is adorable! They've got lots of different, local vendors in one location. Hand made jewelry, vintage clothing, artsy stickers, hipster art, unique cards, etc etc!! The store is very calming, and I always want to buy something every time I go!

This is a great place to buy gifts for your sister, friend, or mom. There are some home goods that would be suitable for men also! Keep in mind that things are sometimes spendy but most of this is hand made and alot of care goes into these products.

What a cute shop! Cute is the perfect word for this shop because I said, oh my gosh this is so cute about 100 times. They also have a small station for sanitation, they have masks and hand sanitizer. I really appreciate that they had that option.

Neither my husband or I were even greeted with any acknowledgement at all. We were interested in some of the chocolate but the male and female working on other things could not be bothered.
