I'm currently pregnant and had a regular check up, with no cavities or major gum health concerns found. When the Dentist came in he recommended a more invasive cleaning, even though it wasn't necessary per the results of my x-rays. Once done with my normal cleaning the Hygienist said I have periodontal disease and that would carry over to my baby and I'll likely have a pre-term birth if I don't do their laser treatment. When I asked for reasoning for what she said, she back-tracked and said I don't have periodontal disease, but some gingivitis could turn into that (although in the exam my gum health was good with minor gingivitis that many pregnant women have). I've had multiple experiences at Modern Dentistry and always felt I'm being upsold on services I do not necessarily need. This experience crossed the line. Would not recommend coming here. They care more about their bottom line so establishing doctor trust would be difficult.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I recently came to the office to have 4 cavities filled. They told me it would cost nearly $3000 (with insurance) to fill 4 cavities and do a deep cleaning. The receptionist told me that was a normal price for those fillings and cleaning. The receptionist nonchalantly asked me “don’t you have some savings to pay for it,” like that was just pocket change that everyone should have. That response couldn’t have been more disassociated from what the average American can afford. Not everyone has $3000 to spare on getting cavities removed and a deep cleaning… Luckily i went to a different dentist to ask how much it would cost for them do to do the same procedures, to which they responded it would be $420 for everything. I would recommend everyone that is considering going here to look for a different dentist office as their prices are extremely predatory and high compared to other places.

BEWARE!! I’m currently unemployed and don’t have dental insurance. I called asking about a simple cleaning and they directed my towards there Smile Generation Program. The front desk said that would be my best bet as it includes a cleaning. IT DOES NOT!!! I paid the $130 for the smile generation and then they said it’ll be another $600 for a cleaning (and yes that was the quote for a basic cleaning) The only thing the smile generation program gets you is an X-ray and quick look from the dentist. Very sad that these people are lying to get people in the door. Don’t recommend this place, but if you do go make sure to advocate for yourself and double check pricing.

Lovely staff at this dental clinic, they know how to be courteous & gentle when working, They make sure you are alright from start to end. Salt Lake Modern Dentistry, located in Sugar House, provides the best dental care and customer service. I moved out of state and make time on my trips to Salt Lake City to get my teeth cleaned and any repair work done at this office. During my recent visit, Dr. Tej Singh took time to address all my concerns and was able to fit me into his schedule. My options were clearly explained and the costs were provided. I was given the information that I needed to prioritize and make a plan forward. They use the most current technology, handle patients with care, and the results are great.

My experience with Dr. Jasik and the dental assistant, Vyshali, was incredible. I had recently had a traumatic experience with wisdom teeth extraction and have dental anxiety for the first time in my life. Dr. Jasik was an empathetic listener, kind, patient, and made me feel at ease from start to finish. Chantelle was a gem during my consultation and followed up on the day of my treatment. The entire staff was wonderful - every interaction was sincere and supportive. I can't recommend this office, and specifically Dr. Jasik, enough.

Everyone who works here was very helpful and nice. I was seen in a timely matter and everyone I interacted with made the appointment a great experience and made me feel comfortable. I was seen by Dr Singh who was very welcoming and comforting. He made sure all my needs were being met. His dental assistant, Leslie was super kind and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. I love this place! I recently converted my boyfriend to this facility. Everyone is kind, motivated, and genuine. Ready to get your smile looking good and healthy! I had to drop in for an emergency visit. I was taken care by Dr. Singh and his DA Ms.Vyshali. It was a great experience, they were very cautious and handled me with utmost care. They explained the treatment plan in detail before proceeding further. All the staffs including the people at front desk were kind and quickly responsive. I would definitely recommend this place.

I absolutely love this place. I’ve been in and out quite a few times for various appointments, and the staff is so great. All of them are so kind and make me feel very comfortable and welcome. Dr. Jasik is the most polite man of all time. Such a wonderful doctor. Chantelle and Coral too. They’re all so sweet, such a fun crew at SLC modern dentistry.

As of recent it seems they are driven by money, pushing treatments that are overkill and not necessary. The dentist seemed to judge me when I told her it was not affordable for what they “recommended” me do. Not to mention they guilt trip you for not having the perfect set of teeth and gums. Very uncomfortable place to go, would not recommend.

My experience was awesome!! Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Coral was very helpful during the checkout process. I really like the new and modern technology that was offered at this office. I was an emergency walk-in on a Friday. My regular dentist was closed for the day, so I made an appointment at Salt Lake Modern Dentistry. Lucky for me, they have state of the art equipment and a welcoming attitude. Dr. Jassick and Chantelle provided excellent care and my teeth feel fantastic.

Went here for my new-patient exam and found the staff to be helpful and friendly! I don’t do super well with x-rays, but Rubi did an awesome job accommodating, and getting it done quickly. All of the staff were great throughout the visit. Will go back again…. hopefully not too often haha.
