I recently visited the Seaford Salvos Store and had a rather disappointing experience due to the closing manager's behaviour. It's a shame because I generally love shopping at this store, but this particular incident left a sour taste in my mouth. As the closing time approached, the manager seemed to be in a rush to get everyone out of the store. Instead of politely reminding customers of the closing time, she made everyone feel uncomfortable by breathing down our necks and pressuring us to leave immediately. This created a stressful atmosphere, which is not what you expect when you're trying to enjoy a shopping experience. What bothered me the most was the manager's appalling customer service skills. She would slam the bins down and handle everything in a hostile manner. On top of that, she frequently mumbled negative comments under her breath, making everyone feel awkward and unwelcome. It's disheartening to see someone in a customer-facing role behave in such a manner. To make matters worse, there was a customer in front of me who was trying to make a substantial purchase. She had a mix of cash and card, but unfortunately, her card didn't have enough funds. Instead of offering a solution or showing empathy, the manager simply told her to put items back and claimed that it couldn't be done. This lack of understanding and unwillingness to help was truly disappointing. In my opinion, this individual should be sacked. Their behavior was completely unacceptable and tarnished the otherwise positive image of the Salvos. It's important for any business to have employees who prioritize customer satisfaction and create a welcoming environment. Unfortunately, this manager failed to meet those expectations. I hope the Salvos management takes this feedback seriously and addresses the issue promptly. I believe that by replacing this manager with someone who possesses better customer service skills, the overall shopping experience at the Salvos can be greatly improved.

I was shocked at the overpriced items of clothing, shoes etc. Cheap TShirts priced $7 to $9. What is going on why are all items exorbitant? People in need cannot afford these items. Salvos must have lost lots if customers, me included. Everyone I know has said the same. Come on Salvos you can do better.

so now you have to be jabbed to be a volunteer so much for Salvos respect, diversity and do no harm approach. Abosultely disgusting behaviour not very christian values at all what are you trying to do! Will never go to a salvos store again!

So overpriced. The last few times I’ve been there, have heard staff pricing items and boasting about putting high prices on the donated items, eg removing original clearance price tags so they could price items higher.

The clothes are too expensive and the shoes too the prices need to be dropped then they would see more old stock go theres so much on.the hangers sometimes you cant see them properly

Very nice Salvos store. Pretty decent size and collection of pre-loved items. The customer service was really good and the staff are quite friendly. I really like this store.

Very clean and tidy with a good assorted of items for sale, although a lot of the clothing isn't particularly inexpensive. The staff are friendly and eager to help.

Salvos have become too expensive. I would have bought several items if they were more reasonably priced.

Rather mediocre selection, few nice bits here and there. The staff however, is lovely.
