"I pop into this store every now and then"
"The range of items is very good"
"I love to go here everytime I have a chance, but my last visit is not that great, the guy who assisted me to have a look in the items inside the cabinet is rude to me not allowing me to touch the item unless I buy it first"
"This place has great staff bar the "unhappy man who never talks to us or smiles ""
"For a Charity Store it is Way over priced and Greed/Profit has taken priority over Charity which contradicts the very name theyre trading under"
I pop into this store every now and then. The staff are bright and cheery. The quality of their donations is very good, and the prices reflect this for the really good quality items, particularly clothing. Everything else is fairly priced. They display their goods very well and artfully. I find it a pleasure to look around, and usually find a treasure. Thank goodness for the volunteers, without you the world would be a grey, lonely place. When I do a clear out, I take items here as there is plenty of parking, and I can reverse in close to the door. I never throw anything out if it can be recycled elsewhere.
The range of items is very good. The prices are great too. The staff are genuinely lovely except there's one staff member who has been quite rude to me on 2 or 3 occasions. Making fun of what I'm buying. Making a couple of quite rude, sexist remarks. Last time l was there, she was belittling another male customer quite openly to someone else when she thought he was out of earshot. l let her know that l didn't appreciate the sexist remarks. Though she just laughed it off. Very odd behaviour.
I love to go here everytime I have a chance, but my last visit is not that great, the guy who assisted me to have a look in the items inside the cabinet is rude to me not allowing me to touch the item unless I buy it first. I understand that it could be because of this Covid thing but he could just wipe it after. So rude.
This place has great staff bar the "unhappy man who never talks to us or smiles "...the discounts on certain days is great. I've bought alot of lovely "ts" clothes ect....at really fabulous prices. I always come awaywith a bargain a smile and not a attitude because of bad staff. Well done Salvos and staff at Somerville.
For a Charity Store it is Way over priced and Greed/Profit has taken priority over Charity which contradicts the very name theyre trading under. Upon complaining to Salvation army; was told this store has no affiliation. Only leases the trading name. Allowing 'second hand store' to 'pose as a charity shop. Disgraceful.
Absolutely OVER PRICED !! Feel like I'm in a VERY EXPENSIVE BOUTIQUE, And Trust Me, It's FAR From That !.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.! VERY GREEDY INDEED !! 1 staff member ( female ) ISN'T the nicest either !!!!!!
You need to update your website with the correct opening hours. Just went to donate a heap of toys and clothes as it says you are open from 12:30, only to find that the store is closed. I'll be donating elsewhere now!
For a charity store there far too fussy about the items l was donating, they were very clean and in ex condition. I have heard about them all being too picky about what they take...never again..
The store has quality goods. I am very happy with the clothes I have bought here. The prices are not cheap however the staff are happy and helpful. Parking is not a problem.
Oh hey! This oppy shoppy is absolutely one to check out on the peninsula! Loads of brand names! I’ve found some great paintings here too!

Always fun to shop at Sommerville Salvos. Staff lovely, helpful and friendly. Shop well presented.
Fairly expensive. Nice staff though. Again, for second hand goods, their prices are ridiculous.
