However the taste of the food - the service was extremely rude. The man at the front desk, his name was lingam, ought to be fired for the way he speaks with his customers. Place is severely understaffed and the manager carries an attitude like their store is saving humanity and we should all be grateful for it. Never going again ! More
The samosas and the laddus is the only reason I come here. They need to seriously do something about their long line ups. The line just barely moves, I understand it’s Diwali but they should make efforts to hire more people or even put a tent outside with sweets only like other places do. No one has 30 -45 min to wait in line. More
We went there around 11:30 and store was already packed. There are two lines ,one for lunch and other for Samosas & sweets. Lunch line was small but other was way too long. We got veggie and non veggie foods. Curries were okay but rice was kind of tasted burned. Samosas were fresh as always. Price is 1$ for 4 samosas!
Great customer service and very clean restaurant. They have a separate line for samosas orders. I ordered a chicken Tikka with naan. It was just ok. Nothing exceptional. Didn't order any samosas and this review is strictly based on the item I purchased. Food is still on the cheaper and affordable side.
Line up was extremely long (waited about 15-20 mins). They didn’t have small size sauces for samosas. Stay away from their chicken biriyani… it was basically rice with a tiny bit a gravy and 1 tiny pc of chicken (smaller than the size of the boiled egg as you can see in the photo). More
Food was okay but due to the customer service by one of the workers- Lingam. Who is just an idiot, prick. I will rate food as 2 stars. I have never seen such a moron who does not know how to behave with customers. I am totally not giving them any business in the near future. More
Good value and good food. Prices are unbeatable and lines are usually very long. The mutton biryani was great and they did give a good amount of meat. The daily special is only $2.99 and you can choose 3 types of vegetable curry along with rice. They only take cash or debit.
One of my worst day visit this samosa king place. 1st time I went to buy food specially Thanksgiving day. But I got worse stress experience. I went so many place to buy chicken biryani. But this is the 1st time got chicken biryani like just
There should be a provision to review without giving any star. This joint is supposedly famous but this is the second time we have visited and both the times we found the food (thali) to be cold to Luke warm. This time there were only a few
Had the worst experience here. Been coming here for over a decade but will not be returning. Spent some time looking at the menu, as I wanted to buy 30 samosas for a class party and wanted to see what the new prices and options were since
I've been coming to Samosa King for the longest time. Their Samosas keep shrinking in size and are now priced at 3 for $1. The restaurant can get busy during certain hours of the day, for example, lunchtime. I was lucky that when I went,
My recent visit to Samosa King Toronto was disappointing. The crowd management was poor and the wait time was quite long. The samosas were not up to my expectations and lacked flavor. To make matters worse, one of the gravies served with
We visited this place on December 15, Friday at 8:30 pm. The guy at the reception gave us a stern look and was not willing to help us find the proper menu we were looking for. He was reluctant to answer us when we asked a few questions.
They have great deals. Prices are pretty cheap. Quality is what you pay for. Its my go to place for quick cheap snacks. Its always pretty busy. Customer service can be better. They are just rushing to serve people that at times they can
Was my go to Indian take out. Went today to find that the take out area is closed. They want you to wait in the long lineup. Talk about taking a good place a ruining it! Sad it turned into this. Will need to find a new restaurant. And
Absolutely loved this place. Samosa is the highlight snack, but there are plenty of other choices in the snacks section. There are a lot of Indian sweet varieties, veg and non-veg lunch meals and other heavy and light food options. Be
saw some reviews and went here. pleasantly surprised for the number of people who stay on the long lines for this food. there are sweets and chaat and also food counter. haven’t tried the food but saw that it was cheap.. ordered some
Honestly, I feel bad for people who come here expecting to have decent somosas or anything South Asian flavored. Food is bland and not worth the time or money. Better tasting food can be found at some outlets in Danforth. More
Good and cheap Samosas 4 for $1. I don't think you can get a better deal anywhere in GTA. Great nan, roti and parathas for very good price. Also, great vegetarian dishes for very good price. Pretty busy with locals.
Food is good but service is terrible! Owner know there is always huge line up but still he don't hire more staff! Man Saving money through hiring less staff but he's not seeing it's a downfall
I used to live nearby and I've been coming here for many years, mostly to pick up samosas, which are pretty good. They're large, freshly made and extremely cheap at 5/$1.00!!!
Customer service is PITYFUL. Willing to lose business because they don't understand technology on how the credit card overseas transactions work. I will not recommend it. More
In 23 years, the price of samosas has only gone up from 5 for $1.00 to 3 for $1.00. They're delicious. Everything else I've ever had from them has been fabulous, too.
Best place to stop for your Indian sweet cravings. They’re not expensive at all. And their sweets and rates would really bring joy to you. More
Just an in and out spot. Grab your food and go. No seating. Only gripe is that they had a sign at the front saying 'food only'. I figured
Solid place to stop by for some Indian snacks and sweets. The wait time can and has taken over 30 minutes if the line reaches near the
Affordable food option. I was quite shocked to find food at such a low cost. CAD 3+ for a rice and 3 choice of veg options. More
The best and affordable place for many Indian cuisine lovers out there. They provide you with lot of options to choose from .
