SAPD has a citizens academy that is free to attend 3x a year. you must register for the 12 week course. every tues 7 to 10pm. this course is designed to inform the community on the different departments within the SAPD. It's highly informative. Eye opening on what a police officer goes through day in day out.

I love coming to the PT readiness classes they are tough but well worth going through and a must if your thinking about joining the academy.
