Multi level shopping area with Bloomingdale’s as main anchor store. There was a Nordstrom here but it just recently closed. The building/venue is upscale and there is security walking around the mall and some stores have manned entrances. Good selection of chain stores and some smaller ones I wasn’t familiar with. Zara, Tory Burch, Coach, Adidas, Madewell, American Eagle, Vans, Lululemon, Sephora, Burberry, H&M, JCrew, and Kate Spade to name a few. Various food vendors throughout mall and a number of additional food providers in the food court on the lower level. A number of which specialize in Asian, Indian, and Korean foods, teas, and desserts.
It’s true! The San Francisco’s downtown mall is dead. Westfield pulled out of the mall due to significant decrease in sales and occupancy level. Visiting here for a few days and wanted to see for myself, before it’s all gone. This used to be my stomping grounds. Especially Nordstrom. It was my “heaven”. Now it’s filled with empty spaces. No more crowds. No more eateries. Some people brought their lunch because there are tables available. Hardly any foot traffic. It’s a ghost town!! I’m still leaving five stars for the great memories. You will be terribly missed!!
Barely any shops, and seems pretty dead inside overall. The movie theater shutdown and now it's all empty which kind of ruins the overall atmosphere. Most shops are just clothes and food but the architecture is amazing, there are tons of places to sit and the mall seems to never end. Too bad there are no shops to visit. Overall definitely recommend visiting even if it's only for 5 minutes.
Quite a large shopping center in the city center near the cable car stop. Many levels for shopping, however, the mall is half emptied, only half the floors have shops in operation while majority of the upper levels are blocked off. The food court is located on the lowest floor, and it seems to be the most popular area in this centre
Westfield is always very fun. i went to the movie theater on the top floor and it was very good. nice service, good popcorn, cheap tickets, etc. the mall itself is beautiful at night, and the food court has lots of very great food. would definitely recommend the movie theater and just the mall itself!
This beautiful, modern, and brightly lit shopping mall is half empty. There are still some great stores left to shop at, and there is plenty of seating and eateries in the food court, but this once vibrant mall no longer has the level of wide-ranging stores and popularity that it used to.
This shopping mall gives you a different feeling. It’s massive and beautiful. This place has a food court, man branded shops, and a cinema too. I’m not sure about on-site car park. Very convenient place for public transport.
Five (six?) Floors of shopping. The sheer joy. My first time on a curved escalator. Very cool. No outlets (other than restroom) and many mall cops made it seem ominous... Probably wouldn't return.
Normally, I don't go to malls, but I remember this place when I came to CSUSF for training, and I had to come here to find a shop that might sell a lavender-colored scarf for my girlfriend.
