I’ve been going to San Francisco Dental Arts for the last three years, and every dentist appointment has been a positive experience! I found this place because it was close to my workplace in SF, but even in the transition to working from home (in the East Bay), it’s still been worth it to cross the bridge and see Dr. Siu and his team. They are friendly and professional; they take the time to explain everything and let you know what’s happening at all times… and they let you choose the music that’s playing in the background—all to help you feel comfortable and take good care of your teeth.

Dr. Siu insisted on thousands of dollars of unnecessary work and held “not clearing me for Invisalign without it” when turns out that’s not a thing. My orthodontist said the work Dr. Siu was recommending was unnecessary and the type of thing someone does after Invisalign. A filling he placed fell off after just five months. When I called they said “sometimes that happens”. Um, five months? Not going to speculate on his integrity or skill but: 1) a filling fell out after five months, 2) his treatment plan was unnecessary, 3) he lied about needing to “clear” me for Invisalign.

After much research and reading reviews I decided to come to SF Dental Arts. First off I would like to say the ladies at the front desk are extremely nice and so friendly. They were so accommodating and so nice to my kids. Dr. Siu is extremely knowledgeable and told me what I needed to do for my next treatment. This was my daughters first time at a dentist, she was a little hesitant but because how friendly he is my daughter was able to warm up to him. I definitely recommend this place for new patients.

This office is incredible. Dr. Siu is professional, caring, and extremely knowledgeable. The front desk ladies are very warm and welcoming! The pup Molly earns extra brownie points for me mainly because I never had an experience like that where a pup sits in my lap during my appointment :) they asked if I was okay with dogs beforehand. Very hi-tech, they even have a WARM water rinse when they're doing a teeth cleaning. Very comforting and a pleasant surprise.

I came in for a deep cleaning because of some mild gum issues. My dental hygienist Melissa thoroughly explained the procedure to me and addressed all the questions I had in mind. I was a little bit nervous at the beginning but she did such an amazing job to make sure I was at ease. She also checked in with me every so often throughout the procedure. It was a very pleasant experience overall and I would highly recommend SF Dental Arts!

As an out of town patient, I was extremely happy to get a same day appointment with Dr. Siu. He and his staff made me a new crown in one appointment, and were just so friendly. If I lived in San Francisco he would be my dentist! Edit: my home dentist has informed me that the crown is not well made and will have to be replaced. Changing the review to 3 stars.

Since moving back to the SF Bay Area, had to find a new dental office. This is my 3rd visit and they always handle us with care and are always thoughtful in their approach to patients. I highly recommend Dr. Siu and his staff. Especially ❤ front office team and loved my cleaning today! Always a pleasure!!!
