Edit - Update (As I cannot respond to the owners response) Firstly it's disheartening to notice that the 2 constructive reviews left within the previous months, you've advised both myself and another client that you do not know us as clients, seems like the easy option to deny our credibility. I wouldn't be wasting my time writing these reviews if I hadn't had such an appalling experience. Secondly I would like to know what brand of anti-wrinkle treatment you use please? Given that it took you two weeks for you to address my concern, and my eyebrows to finally ascend back to their normal position, I did notice that your treatment has now completely evanesced?! It's only been one month!! The treatments I've been receiving for years usually last 3 months which makes me question the product you are using. I would appreciate your full transparency, so that new or existing clients can assess if your product will work best for them. ................................. I thought I would try Sanctum out as their prices are aparently quite competitive. The front desk staff were very warm and welcoming and the shop front is stunning and well thought out. The nurse I had for my anti wrinkle treatment was also warm and friendly. So why the 1 star review?? The 1 star review starts from when I met the doctor. I've been receiving botox for years so I have a pretty sound understanding of my face and what has and hasn't happened in the past from this treatment. Now I'm not saying I know better than the doctor, which I know I clearly do not. However I felt I was not being heard and only spoken at and not too. My face has dropped in the past and dealing with that for 3 months is not something I want to ever deal with again. I expressed my concerns and I feel my words fell on deaf ears. I now have two eyebrows that have turned into eyelashes, I have headaches all the time from trying to fight the botox in my head and I'm feeling uncomfortable leaving the house. I rang Sanctum (As advised too if anything happens) and left a lengthy voicemail detailing what has happened with my name and number, requesting a call back. I still have not received a phone call. So now when I look through the reviews, I've realised that they are not interested in the negative (constructive) feedback and will only reply to the positive one's that inflate one's ego. Clearly I'm quite disappointed, and I hope this serves as a warning to others out there! I will never cut corners on cost again, and I hope anyone that reads this doesn't do what I've done. Silk Laser Clinics at Eastlands are exceptional, kind and empathetic so there's a tip for anyone thinking of getting anti wrinkle treatments

#edit. Interesting to note 7 positive reviews left on their Facebook profile immediately after mine...and most from staff who work at one of their clinics. I highly disrespect fake reviews. Do your research everyone. See below for a real review. They charge extra without your consent. I went in for a 2 week follow up as directed by the initial doctor. The doctor chatted for a while. Not new info from the first $130 consult I paid for. I was waiting for him to tell me the follow-up had finished so I could leave. They tried to charge me for a consult when I left. At no point was I told the follow up had turned into a consult. The woman at the desk said it was a ‘time thing’. That is not the responsibility of the client to determine when the ‘time’ has ticked over into consult. The client should be explicitly told and then consent to the consult and it’s charge. Very disappointing. Lovely space but not worth the stress of unclear pricing.

Like any other beauty spa they try to upsell you to a $70 bottle of sunscreen on your first visit. Yes even the registered medical professionals. I was offered at a reduced price. They then charged me full price. I found it extremely discomfiting to be lied to and grifted by a registered medical professional. I was running low on time and told them I would pay now but was very unhappy with the situation. They promised to have someone call me to discuss the matter. That was two weeks ago. My advice is seek the treatment you are interested in at a more professional centre.

Booked my regular appointment months and months in advance on a day that suited them! on my lunch break so i could have my treatment before my wedding as its the only day they could get me in. Got a call today asking me to move it to 3pm, after booking it months ago and stressing to them that i can only come in on my lunch break as they changed their opening hours. Im now going elsewhere to a place that i can rely on to honour their appointment times. Very disappointed.

I recently had a Dermaplaning procedure at Sanctum Medical performed by Melanie who is a registered nurse there. Mel was wonderful explaining the procedure as it went along as I had not tried this exfoliation procedure before. Mel had very good technique and was very careful and thorough. Weeks later my face still feels very smooth and fabulous. I would recommend Melanie who was excellent and this procedure.

I always experience the highest level of customer service and have the best experience here. Their treatments have worked incredibly to fix my acne and heal my scarring. I feel like they take the time to really listen to what Im after. I recommend everyone go here, I love their medi facials and definitely recommend them for injectables and laser too. Sanctum is my skin and beauty savior!

After struggling with dull skin, I booked a luminosity facial with Karen in Launceston, and I’m so glad I did. The facial was amazing, and Karen was very professional and knowledgeable when talking through different products and services that could be of benefit to me. I already can’t wait for my next treatment!

Travelled to Hobart for Dark Mofo and booked in for a facial at Sanctum. It was the highlight of the whole trip! Customer service and the setting is excellent. The place is run by doctors and it shows with the level of care and quality of treatment.

Originally from Melbourne, I was so pleased to come across Sanctum in Hobart and to entrust them with my skin. The space is beautiful (I could hang out in their waiting area all day), the staff are lovely and the treatments are excellent.

There is only one word for Sanctum and it is AMAZING! The staff are wonderful and the beautiful decor sets the scene for a tranquil experience. I always leave Sanctum feeling a million dollars and my skin absolutely glowing.
