The rooms were nice and the hotel as a whole was in a good location but the service missed the mark. We came to town for a wedding and were staying three nights. After the first night, they tried to move us to a different room for the wedding block we were staying with even though other people going to the wedding were across the hall from us. We had already settled into our room and put all of our stuff away. When we asked to stay in the same room, they told us that they had other people moving into that room. Instead of moving the people coming in to the room they were trying to move us to, they were trying to get us to move. After talking with them numerous times, they finally agreed to let us stay. They asked us for a 5-star review the second we checked in. Only two of the front desk staff actually knew what they were doing which resulted in a long wait and a lot of reiteration of the actual problem. Make sure you check your bill and how much you get charged. We were charged $100 extra without notice. No breakfast and the complimentary coffee is awful. Hotel was nice but the service just wasn’t it.

Just an ok experience. My husband and I went for a stay cation experience. As we were checking in there was a customer next to us complaining about how he saw a cockroach in his room. When we got into the room it was different from the online booking pictures. We were told there would be two codes to connect to internet there were no codes for room service or internet. Super slow internet as well. We wanted something from the vending machines and followed the signs and the vending machines were gone....kids running up and down the hotel floor all night. When we asked the front desk for room service in the morning for breakfast in bed they said they didn't provide that because the kitchen was understaffed. But when I asked in the morning at checkout they said that wasn't true. The only nice part was the front desk woman gave us 30 dollars off. It was just an ok experience. We thought we tried a different hotel for once and were let down.

If I could honestly give higher than 5 stars, I would! When I booked my room online, I had asked if it was possible to have a room with a balcony since not all rooms have them. Since it was done through a third party app, I wasn’t aware that what I had booked didn’t have a balcony. The ladies at the front desk were more than accommodating and must’ve sensed my need for self-care as they were able to upgrade me to a cute little suite with a balcony. This is beyond my expectations and exactly what I needed!! Thank you Sophia and Fari for going above and beyond. The room is nice and clean. Fully equipped with a fridge, stove, microwave and dishwasher along with coffee maker, glasses and dishes. This is a lot more than I expected and I am so happy I decided to book here. Highly recommend!! Ooh….and not to mention, each side of the bed has 1 soft and 1 firm pillow. Seems they thought of everything!

We booked a room for four while we were traveling to study with family. The location is convenient, just minutes from the Ottawa International Airport and there are plenty of bus stops to all places in Ottawa. The room was clean and spacious. The bathroom is also clean. They have an indoor pool too. There are several places to eat around the building, it even has its own fine restaurant and they had different types of food. They provided room service daily. Parking is good too. Value for money. I want to emphasize that I saw a young lady named Michelle on several occasions, she always made us talk and we liked her, I hope in my next stay in this place everything remains as it is, especially the staff

Thank you to Mridul at the front desk who was so friendly and helpful this particular trip this past weekend. The hotel has really good staff overall. The hotel and rooms are very clean. Stayed here for a few nights over the holidays and booked this hotel as it had on site EV charging (6.6kw 1.50$hr) Nice modern clean hotel in a good location. Also having USB/Power outlets next to the bed great to see. We were upgraded to a suite at check in which made our stay even better. I’d say the only reason why I’m not leaving 5 stars is I found the HVAC system in the room to be extremely loud when the fan kicked in. Like properly loud I’d stay here again though and rate the hotel a 4star. The 3 star rating is too low!

Great place and even better staff! We have stayed at this hotel a number of times while travelling. Rooms are extremely comfortable and all of the staff is exceptional. I had a small problem with my bill and the front desk manager, Taleb was extremely helpful. Loved that the location was near many eating places. There was no one in the pool. It was small but perfect for my son and I. Also very happy with the small change room. A shower would have been nice for use before and after pool use. Very clean. A dishwasher would have been great but we managed with the few plates and cups. Also loved that the King room had 2 tv's.

One of my favorite Sandman locations in Canada. As an F.A. Sleep and location are critical to our health and safety. For this, I’m glad we have business with this line of hotels. The location it’s perfect if you need to be close to the airport, and unlike other airport hotels, you have a variety of places to grab food. Sit down restaurants and fast food chains. I recommend this hotel. Con: Their pillows are Firm or Soft no in between.

Always a great choice if you want to stay close to the airport. Rooms are spacious, very clean and very quiet. Mridul at the front desk helped me check in, service was amazing. It’s a good idea to register for RSVP reward, you can have early check in and free room upgrades. Highly Recommend!
