I moved to Jax in August, so I was looking for a new dentist here and decided to come to this business because of the shining 5 star reviews. The hygienist and the staff were extremely nice, but the dentist herself was extremely rude, spent a total of 2 minutes in the room, barely looked at my teeth, and during those two minutes tried to tell me I needed veneers, gum graft surgery, that I had 4 cavities, and I needed invisalign/braces or my teeth would flare out. I go to the dentist every 6 months, and have not had a cavity, or any issues, in my entire life. I decided to get a second opinion from a dentist in the area, and was told that I do not have any cavities, need gum grafting, or veneers. The only truth Dr. Doan told me was that I will need invisalign eventually, but she made it seem extreme and used scare tactics to try to get more money. This woman tried to scare me into paying $575 to have 4 fillings. I am disgusted at the dishonesty from someone who is supposed to be a healthcare provider. Just a tip if you decide to go here for a cleaning, if they tell you that you suddenly developed 4 cavities in the 6 months from your last cleaning, ask questions and get a second opinion because this "doctor" just wants as much of your money as she can get.

Went 4 weeks ago for cleaning and received a treatment plan for 3 cavities. (this dentist did not show me or go over x-rays). Setup an appointment to get the "treatment plan" done. Received a call two business days prior to my appointment and they tried to change the date/time after I already requested a PTO day weeks ago off from work. Lucky me they had a 12 noon on Monday instead of my 8am original appointment time. Arrived sat down in chair they numbed my mouth, had me put the "shades on" and came out with a "new" treatment place including a crown on my tooth. When I asked what changed from 4 weeks ago (same x-rays) they stated they were giving me worse case scenario. Why didn't they just tell me this 4 weeks ago??? Why didn't they tell me before they had me in chair with mouth already numb from the injection??? I guess they figured they had me in chair already ready to go and I would just sign "new" treatment place which went from $100 to almost $1000. Let's just say I got up and left. Now wasted a pto day and have a numb mouth for a few hours. This is not the way to run a business. The correct way to run a business is to give customers best and worse case scenarios up front on the "treatment plan"

Sandpiper Dental is a place to go for your dental needs. I personally required an unexpected procedure on my upper appliance (implants) that Dr. Doan took on without any hesitation. Upon completion of my visit, I left Sandpiper Dental with my smile again. The Staff at Sandpiper Dental, are professional and respectful. From the time you set foot in their office, they provide you the attention and respect you expect. The waiting area and Dental room was spotless. I've never been a big fan of dentists. This was no exception. I felt really judged by the dentist due to not being able to afford a crown she didn't tell me I needed until after she had started drilling into my tooth. The crown was $700 dollars in addition to what I would already be paying that day. Her exact words were "you really should have money in savings for stuff like this." Great, except I didn't ask for such a rude and insensitive piece of advice. Not all of us have the salary of a dentist. The hygienists are very nice, but very brutal. You will most likely be sore after leaving this office. Needless to say I found another dentist.

I recently moved to the area and had my first appointment at this dental office. I was impressed by the exceptional care I received, especially from hygienist Dawn. She expertly performed my cleaning and oral exam, while thoroughly explaining my treatment options. Her knowledge and friendliness made the experience very pleasant. The other assistants were equally welcoming and kind. Dr. Kim Doan was highly professional and instilled confidence with her expertise. The office is a one-stop solution for all dental needs, from fillings and crowns to implants, which I'm planning to get next. I'm so glad I found this place!

The overall experience I had Sandpiper Dental was by far the most relaxing and positive experience I have had at any dental office. I had been referred to this office by a friend of mine and was a bit hesitant given my history of having unpleasant experiences that left me not wanting to return. This was not one of those dental visits. The staff was very friendly and helpful in getting me set up as a new patient. The entire cleaning was pain-free and the hygienists frequently checked on me to make sure I was comfortable throughout the procedure. I will be switching to this dental office 100%

I came to clean my teeth. It was my second try in the US. The first time was not very good and I didn’t even get my cleaning done. So I was a little scared )) but! Everything went so fast, good and smooth with this clinic that I didn’t even have time to start to worry ;)) they did exactly what I needed, not more, and gave me recommendations about what I need to do with my teeth. I am very happy with the service. So my husband and son are the next for the cleaning. And I definitely would recommend this clinic to my friends. Thank you so much!

I have followed Dr. Doan for years. She’s amazing at what she does and knowing now she has a place of her own is fantastic. She recently bought this location from the previous owner. I can’t wait to see how things pan out for her now that she has her own office. I’ve had 2 root canals from her and everyone told me that they are horrible and oh no I hate them but in all honesty she was amazing, I never felt pain or discomfort. Now I bring my daughter to her and she’s great with her also. I highly recommend giving her a try.

Probably the best experience at a dental office I have ever had. The staff was extremely nice, walking me through everything they were doing and explaining why they are doing it. Extremely detailed and technology focused. After taking x-rays and pictures they take the time to walk through what they see and what needs to be checked more thoroughly. They also take the time to walk through your benefit plan and what costs if any you may incur before any services are provided. Definitely an A+ practice!

Sandpiper Dental Office is the best. They have always made me feel at ease. I have had 3 crowns so far and they are phenomenal. I have quite a bit of dental work to get done and they are the best. They make the crowns in office so you get them that same day. No waiting!! The front office ladies are so friendly and they are very accommodating. If you have any fears of going to a dentist, visit this office and you will have no more fears. They are the best!!

Best staff ever! I usually dread going to the dentist and then I found Sandpiper Dental. Everyone is super nice and helpful which i'm thankful for because i've had a hard time finding a good dentist. Jessica was my dental hygienist and she was awesome! Super nice and knowledgeable. I get anxiety when going to the dentist and they all made me feel welcomed and at ease. I couldn't recommend this office enough!

I went to Sandpiper Dental for the first time yesterday. Let’s just say the visit was outstanding. Dr Doan was very attentive and listened to all my concerns. From the hygienist to the front office, they were extremely kind, and thorough. She also wanted to make sure I wasn’t in any discomfort. I am very pleased with Sandpiper and I’m definitely making them my permanent dentist.

I had excellent care, and experience. They very professional and were able to Epoxy my crown back on to my upper tooth and give me a good darrel cleaning. My husband had an emergency at work with a down cardiac Cath Lab at Mayo Clinic , They volunteered to take me home after my cleaning so my husband could get to work since we both drove together for my schedule appointment.

The team at Sandpiper Dental is top notch! My appointments are always me with a smile and timeliness. Their hygienist has 20+ years of experience and is a gentle and patient technician. The dentists have always been passionate, polite and concise. Their prices can't be beat - nor could their reception staff. It always feels like I am going to visit a good friend.

I had a wonderful cleaning done by Jessica at Sandpiper Dental. The entire staff was extremely professional and welcoming from the moment I walked in until when I left. This establishment has changed ownership since I first started going here, but I think it actually gotten better!! Went in for an emergency, my crown had come off. They got me on quickly and got me a new crown that same day. Very polite and professional service!

Got two crowns done today! Great job by Dr. Doan and Lindsey. They were professional, attentive and quick-though I never felt like they were "rushing through it." You can definitely trust them with your smile!!

No complaints. Had a cavity under a crown fixed plus no crown. Shot was painless. Whole procedure took 2 hours. Walked out same day with cavity fixed and new crown. No temporary needed. I’m done in one trip.
