Bad experience with this place. The place was empty a table of 2 and US a table of 5. We got sat down and all the menus the prices of each plate were scratched off with a sharpie so we order without knowing the price, we order 2 mar y tierra, 2 caldo de res and 1 caldo de pollo. The server only showed up to out table 3 times, on where the bowl where my rice was brought it was dirty and still had black beans from previous use I'm assuming, I asked out server to replace my rice and you guys wont believe what my eyes saw, she dumped the rice where the other rice was and got a "clean bowl" and served the same was that was already contaminated and touched at my table. We finish eating and head out to pay, to our surprise our tab was $143 we were being charged for a mariscada (seafood soup) that we didn't order (we only had agua fresca ) On top of that 18 dollars of tips were added to out tap. We understand some restaurants get gratuity but to my knowledge it has to be on parties of 6 or 8. We had left 25 dollar tip that we picked up after realizing the tip was charge, (server your loss on $25) I'm not doing this to hurt the business but for the owners to be aware and know that this is hurting your business. El lugar estaba vacío con una mesa de 2 y una de 5 que era la nuestra, nos sentamos y para empezar todos los precios de los menús estaban Rayados con marcador negro, así que ordenamos sin saber el precio. La orden fue 2 mar y tierra, 2 caldo de rez, y un caldo de pollo. La mesera solo llegó a nuestra mesa 3 veses. El traste en el que mi arros fue traído estaba sucio de frijoles negros del uso anterior. Le pedí a la mesera que si me traía arroz nuevo y para sorpresa mía y de mis amigos la mesera vació el arroz que estaba en la mesa en el contenedor de arroz que tenían en la cosina, y de ahí mismo me trajo "arroz nuevo" terminamos de cenar y fuimos a pagar, para nuestra sorpresa el cheque era de $143 dólares (sin consumo de alcohol) y se nos estaba cobrando una mariscada que no pedimos. Aparte se nos cobró $18 de propina en el mismo ticket. Se entiende que la mayoría de restaurantes cobra gratitud pero solo en mesas de 6 o más. Aviamos dejado $25 dólares de propina la cual recojimos al saber que se nos avia contado propina mandataria. (Tu pérdida mesera). Esto no lo hago para dañar al negocio, lo hago para que el o los dueños se den cuenta que ustedes mismos están dañando el negocio.

My mother went to eat today Sunday, May 09, 2021 with my sister for Mother's Day, but the service was terrible, the waitstaff was rude, never bring what my mother or sister asked for to the table. They even ignored my sister children about their food. I will NOT recommend this terrible place to eat for a special date like today, Mother's Day. Go somewhere else and NOT here. Terrible customer service and poor terrible management team and of course all the waitresses. 1 star only for their BAD service to the customers.

Ordered 7 pupusas and Only got 6. The waitress, Ides, kept walking around attending other people not once did she come and ask if we needed anything. When I went up to pay, and told her i only got 6, she asked the cook which said i got 7. After arguing back and forth, I saw her tell the other cook that I was being stubborn and not understanding and she hit her forehead with her palm... i told her I saw what she did and she didn’t care. I told her she was being rude and she didn’t see it that way. Never going again.

DO NOT GO! NO VENGAN! If you want to be disrespected with attitude come to this place. The food is good but the staff is horrible, they ignore you. My dad called to make an order and he called to check on the order before he headed out and they said it wasn’t ready but when he got there he was there for 10 mins unattended and the food was cold as if it was longer than 10 mins.

Very bad service. I placed an order by phone and was told my order would be ready in 15-20 minutes. I arrived 20 minutes later and one of the ladies said she would be right with me. I could see my order ready in the back and after 15 minutes of waiting inside I left. The lady attended every table that was occupied and even after she was done she still did not give me my order but kept glancing at me. I used to be a regular customer but not anymore

Very disappointing, I ordered chicken soup, pricey for 1pc of chicken and 2 pc of vegetable, very watered down broth. I guess it was the end of the day and instead of saying we ran out they decided to serve and charge for there left over. I don't believe in negative review I am writing this in hopes that the owners will read this and make adjustments.

Stellar Mexican food! I haven't tried the Salvadorian food yet but the Mexican sampler I had was amazing - incredible flavor, very fresh, and not overly salty like most Texmex places in Dallas! They have all kinds of delicious pastries as well! Y Las cajeras - bien guapas!!

I would happily give them five stars because the food is pretty good and authentic however if you are hungry this is not the place to go. Every time I go it is either luck but I have to wait over 45 minutes for my food. One time after 50 minutes of waiting I walked out. So if you are not hungry go but don't go if you are hungry especially if you see that the restaurant is busy.

First couple of times it was good. Then the third time, they served us food that was terrible. They also try to charge me for food I didn’t order. Always ask for a detailed receipt because they won’t give you one, only the credit card receipt. That’s how I found out about the extra charges.

I have fallen in love with their chicken chalupas, thick, crispy tostadas with heaping toppings - chicken, lettuce, tomato, crema & the deliciously fresh white cheese! Every item is so fresh. An order of 3 is so filling. The staff is very friendly and attentive, too.

Food was salty but the service was horrible the waitress had an attitude. Our food came she slam the plates in the table she definitely don’t know the steps of Hospitality. The place is good but they need to pay attention to the service they offer

Ordered a stew/soup with chips to go. Ended up with a soup bone, a piece of fatty meat with a 2in round of corn in broth for $12 with tip. Don't bother with this place, they're to unreliable about service, meal size, and pricing.

I asked for popusas and when my order got to the table one of mine had a fry in it. I tried giving the restaurant another chance and called to place an order the cancelled my call 5 times. Never will I give that place a chance

This place is not worth your time food is nasty server was rushing to take order and only 3 ppl in the dining area well it took 34 mins for my food then my bacon was very raw just not worth it

Was definitely a good dining experience. Got to watch all the food get made. Great Tortas, the tortillas have so much flavor. Service was good and friendly. Lots of Togo but not so many eating in. Will come back!

Food doesn't taste like Salvadorian food at all, we order nuegados and the syrup they come with got rock solid like after 5-10min of serving, we could not eat them. Had a bad experience, will not go back.

Went here with my Sister and family. I really enjoyed the Monterrey Chicken, great chips and salsa, and the Horchata was delicioso! Very kind wait staff too!

I really enjoyed my chile relleno and our waitress Iris was great. I will come back the next time we are in town for a gig at the club a couple doors down.

Awesome El Salvadorian food! I highly recommend the papusas! Full bar and a very low key atmosphere. The prices offer a great value as well.

The food was excellent, the music was great, the atmosphere was delightful. Twice I've been there and I totally would recommend this place.

I’m from Houston and let me tell you that I haven’t gone to a salvadorian restaurant with such good flavor and authentic taste.
