I cannot begin to express my gratitude to Santanas Funeral Home on 5352 Katy Fwy. When my mom was in hospice, I knew nothing about funeral arrangements. I was referred to Santana’s by the hospice agency social worker. She guided me to them and through her, I obtained info on different funeral homes but being an only daughter, I was on a budget. A budget that Santana fulfilled. I did not expect much cuz sometimes you get what you pay for. But I’m happy that it was not the case here. Starting with the two individuals that picked up my mom from my home after she died, they were very nice and handled the whole process with care. They were very gentle with my moms body. Now, the location: The outside was not all that great, I even joked with Lidu that the sign could use a make over among other things, but the inside was very nice. It was comfortable and clean. I was actually pleasantly surprised. Now, where do I begin with LIDU, the coordinator, she made the whole process very pleasant. She was caring, funny, understanding, informative and made me feel like family. She even gave me a wonderful idea of keepsakes with my moms hair, I would’ve never thought of that. I wasn’t thinking period but she kept me on track of every next step I needed to do. Lidu, I’ll never forget your kindness. And I cannot even begin to express my gratitude with Mr. Santana, the owner, he was so understanding and empathetic. He went above and beyond for us in so many ways. For example, my mom was a very traditional woman and she wanted to be buried in her wedding dress, Mr. Santana was able to get my mom a white hearse which I appreciated because it fit her perfectly. She was Queen till the end. I did not have much interaction with Peter but he was also very pleasant. The hearse driver Sandy was also very pleasant and genuinely cared, he handled my moms coffin with care. Overall, I would definitely recommend Santana’s. I have zero complaints about them. From beginning to end, they treated my mom and us with the upmost care and respect.

Our family has used this funeral home back to back since 2021,2022,& 2023 it’s was very sad! But LIDU has made this process very smoothly & easy for us bc difficult times like this we didn’t had no head to think of every single detail going through all from paper work to making sure our loved one gets what they deserve & our visitors as well. She has treated us like if we were family! I recommend this place their price are very affordable, especially this beautiful lady she gave it all great customer service. Thank you LIDU for everything you have done for us from the start to the end.

We lost two family member, Dec 20 & Jan 21. First time, we were lost, hurted and with no idea on what what's next. We ran into some greedy, heartless human beings( Funeraria del Angel) We started looking everywhere. We drove and saw Santana Funeral Home. From the moment we walked in they showed that they care. Lidu & Mr. Santana are two amazing human beings. They are two caring that know how to talk & treat you during those difficult moments. Also, prices are affordable, they don't try to take advantage.

From the first time I called Santana Funeral Home the owner Santana was able to arrange an appointment immediately the same night and was very respectful. LIDU, the service coordinator provides EXCELLENT customer service and makes everything 1,000 % less stressful during difficult times! She’s always available to answer any questions and assist in anything related to the funeral. She was a blessing to work with.

The only reason I'm not giving a one star is because we got a good discount by Peter that made it more affordable. However, the day of the funeral no one was there to assist! Funeral director never showed up, the tech lady who was supposed to help with the slide show wasn't there. We had to do it all ourselves. And then to make matters worse the hearse was late. If I could I wouldn't go with them again.

Would never recommend this funeral home to anyone. Not very attentive to guest. I had to request kitchen area be cleaned and trash be taken out on several occasions . Kitchen area was full of gnats and the walls were filthy , smelled like mildew . When I asked if the place could be disinfected with Clorax she claimed they didn't have anything other than dish soap. Stay away from this place!

We were treated with the upmost respect during this difficult time. From the planning to the actual service, the service coordinator (Lidu) assisted us with exemplary customer service throughout the whole process. To the owner of Santana Funeral, please hire more employees like her and give her a bonus or a raise! She represents your company well! Take care of her.

Please don’t use this place. You’ll be disappointed! There was gnats EVERYWHERE! There was gnats on my deceased father. Crawling all over him. He didn’t deserve that. The place was nasty! From the chapel to the restrooms to the back area where we ate. I’m disgusted! The preacher was horrible. I wanted to rate them 0 stars.

If I could leave one I would. Worst attitude and help ever had. Trying to deal with a death one and they are the worst people to talk to and try to figure out anything. Will never recommend this place. Horrible I wish that anyone dealing with a death never have to talk to these people

Customer service was not ok. We were force to only view for 4 hours rather than the 8 hours promised. And not even compensated for the missing time. Would not recommend. Service started late because they could not get it together.

Horrible service disrespectful and we're in a hurry for us to leave and rushed everything the owner is so rude didn't like the speech and this place sucks do not come here for a funeral home ! Go to forest lawn it's much better

12 years ago it was the best and peace memorial place for our friends and family to pay there last respects to my brother

I really dint like the speach the paster spoke more about hes personal life ... and they where rushing us to leave

Ms. Lidu is the best and she cares a bunch about everyone and about every detail. I Highly recommend Ms. Lidu.

They were nice and friendly ladies really appriciate them
