"Santorini is an unassuming cafe that deserves more attention than it receives"
"So awful I am surprised how they got a 4"
"Great location, management is great at hospitality"
"The best Greek food in Austin! They have the most authentic Greek food I've had all across Texas and you don't be disappointed in the quality of their foods"
"We had an amazing time! The food was tasty, and the service was excellent"
Santorini is an unassuming cafe that deserves more attention than it receives. Greek food is never a standard go to but this should be on your radar. The lamb is perfectly prepared on its own and in a gyro. The fries are as good as any I've tried. The salad and dressing is fresh and refreshing. Sit on the patio for the best experience. More
So awful I am surprised how they got a 4.8!! The food is dry, portions small, and just bland. The beignets are hardly sweet. And the fire spewing dish is gross!!....just a hunk of burnt fried cheese!! The place is no frills. It is the old balkan Cafe..just name changed. There are so many better greek places in town. More
Great location, management is great at hospitality. Good food and affordable menu: helpful and friendly staff , orders don’t take very long to be prepared. Hummus is one of the betters ones in town and don’t skip the chicken gyro or baked feta. All great options to pair with your favorite wine or beer. More
The best Greek food in Austin! They have the most authentic Greek food I've had all across Texas and you don't be disappointed in the quality of their foods. The lamb was cooked to perfection and the deserts here are stellar. Every bite I just wanted more, I will be returning to Santorini very soon. More
We had an amazing time! The food was tasty, and the service was excellent. The waitress Charity was so nice and friendly! It was our first time there. She recommended the baked fetta with pita for appetizer. We also ordered Lamb gyro and pasticcio. Everything was so delicious! Thank you!
A wonderful, no-frills Greek cafe! The gyros were fantastic, especially the chicken gyro (I know, not authentic, but still excellent). Ended the meal with a baklava - nicely sweet and terrific, as well. When we're back in Austin, we'll be back...and, I'll try the coffee! More
Middle of nowhere but really good greek food. The gyros are great and worth it. Salad was good and huge. Falafal was ok but not our favorite. Happy hour wine and beer so get in early. Super friendly family run. Check it out if you are craving Mediterranean food~ More
Cannot recommend Santorini cafe enough! The pita bread tasted fresh out of the oven and practically melted in my mouth! The owner recommended an excellent Greek white wine which paired so well with my Gyro. This is also a place to splurge on desserts! More
May have ended up here on accident since the place we were planning on eating at was closed, but it was a very very happy accident. I ordered the lamb plate and it was fantastic and filling, service was very prompt and the dessert was good. More
You HAVE to try the Baked Feta cheese, it is amazing. The place looks ordinary from the outside, but the food is extraordinary. We loved the Tsatsiki, the gyro, the Greek salad. We will definitely be coming back and it's a new favorite for us.
I came to eat lunch here on a work trip from Houston. I can't speak highly enough of the customer service and quality of the food! This is by far some of the best Greek food I've ever had! I ordered the veggie plate and fell in love. I went
Best Greek food in the Austin area. The Lamb Gyros were delicious, and probably the best gyros I've had in quite a while. The feta fries were also a tasty side. Great service as well; you order at the counter and the whole family helps make
I had the lamb plate and it was some of the best Greek food I’ve ever had. The pita bread was fresh, hot and slightly crispy around the edges and chewy on the inside. The lamb was cooked to perfection. I made fajita-like roll ups and dipped
Absolutely love Santorini's! They are the nicest family owned small business in Austin, always incredibly generous with large portions and often include a dessert on the house. Their Lamb is so good, always provide tons of pita, and I would
Quaint mom n pop kind of restaurant with plenty of outdoor patio seating with a cozy interior that has some charm to it. I ended up getting a reservation since I wasn’t sure how busy it was going to be, but turns out it was an order at the
I got the lamb gyro and fries. The gyro meat was well seasoned and delicious. The fries were fresh and crispy. They also brought out loukoumas (greek donuts) on the house, which were superb. It’s a cozy place with very friendly staff. More
OUTSTANDING!!! Local business and the owner was so very sweet!!!!!! Price we beyond reasonable, I got the Lamb Gyro and that was $10.75 and was it served with a small salad. My boyfriend got the Lamb plate and it was outstanding, that was
Cute place to grab food, yummy and freshly made. I got the margherita pizza which was solid and my husband got the chicken plate. The food was fresh and we’d definitely come back. The hummus was solid. It was our first time here and they
We've eaten here many times, and the food is always stellar. Leaving a review tonight because even delivered, our food was hot, fresh, and every single bite was phenomenal. I thought the lamb plate was so much food I wouldn't be able to
Best Greek food I’ve ever had! The tzatziki and dolmades are so delicious and unique from what I’ve had before. Their plates offers a great variety of flavors. Aside from the amazing food, my favorite part was the decoration and overall
We had the feta fries, a lamb plate, & a lamb gyro plate. Both plates came with a side salad, the lamb plate came with a side salad, tzatziki sauce & pita. Food was phenomenal I ate 2 slices of the lamb and was full the feta cheese was
We came here for lunch last Saturday. It has a very comfortable vibe. The service was good and the owner was very friendly. I ordered the lamb gyro that came with a salad. I wanted more vegetables in the wrap, so I pretty much put the
Stopped by here with friends yesterday! I ordered a lamb gyro meal and it was delicious! Enjoyed a soft squishy beignet that was lightly covered with honey. Staff was very nice and friendly. I enjoyed the decor as well. ☺️ More
I’ve come here 5-6 times this past year and enjoyed the food. Unfortunately last 2 times I’ve eaten here the meat in my lamb gyros was really dry which is why I rated the food with just 3 stars. Small but cute dining area. More
My gf was craving a gyro and I stumbled upon an article that said this place had the best gyros in Austin. It’s in north Austin and I live south so it was about a 45 min drive for me, but I would say it was well worth it.
The vegetarian plate was fantastic . Just the right amount and combination. Fantastic service and friendly staff. Delightful dessert on the house- looked like doughnuts, tasted similar to sweetened sourdough.
I come from a part of the country that has many Greek restaurants, usually in a bar with a creepy parking lot that is shared with a bunch of other businesses. The food at those restaurants is universally good.
Best Greek food in Austin. Went here for much and had the lamb. It was amazing. Everything tasted great! Perfect portion size. The PA is perfectly crispy. Lots of outdoor seating and quick service. More
A small, unique restaurant with delicious food. I came here tonight for dinner and ordered the lamb steak plate. There was plenty of meat to eat. The salad and sauce went well with the pita bread.
I came here by chance (other restaurant I intended was unexpectedly closed) and glad I did! The food was amazing, and the staff were awesome. I will be back for more when in the area again. More
The best Greek food I have had in the south in the 9 years of living here. A small local restaurant that deserves all the support and love it can get. They also serve LOUKOUMADES (Greek donuts)
Wonderful food, great music, spacious area, fantastic and kind folks. It's a great space with the porch, and just far enough away from the but still visible. Plenty of parking all around.
Being a vegetarian, the veg plate was fabulous, falafel was AMAZING, hummus was perfect, pita bread was warm & delicious ,tzatziki sauce was really yummy and babaganoush had good flavor.
I've passed by this group of restaurants several times but never stopped by. I'm glad I finally did. Authentic Greek food. Nothing too fancy, but the service was great. Greek beer
Not a real Greek restaurant like you can find in Greece but not bad! I was a bit disappointed with my Greek salad I won’t lie. But I will come back to try something else! More
Good place to chill and eat. The food is nice but the chicken was kinda dry. Falafel was good. Best things were pita and tzatziki sauce. The hummus was also really nice. More
This place always makes me happy. The servers are super friendly and always serve with a big smile. They always give a complimentary dessert whenever I have visited.
All the 5 star reviews for this place are totally justified. The taste is remarkable, and the price is very reasonable for the quantity of food that you get.
Nice place, good food and ambience. Loved the lamb gyro sandwich. Hummus, falafel and pita was tasty too. Plenty of parking. Plenty of outside seating. More
Amazing Greek food and fun atmosphere! Prices are very reasonable, especially the lunch specials! The hummus and pita bread is so good! Try this place! More
I can’t believe there’s a place like that in Austin. Upon entering the restaurant we felt like visiting Greece again! The food is super yummy and healthy.
Cozy atmosphere. I ordered the vegetable plate and I enjoyed it. My first thought was this will not fill me up but it did. My tummy was happy.
We stopped in at 9pm on a Sunday night. There were several tables and lots of to go orders. We ordered the hummus and a lamb plate to share.
We loved the atmosphere and food here, awesome! The Greek salad with falafel is a good vegetarian option :) tasty fresh ingredients. More
First time here and was great. Nice place and crew. Food delicious, would say better than niko niko in Houston. Very recommended More
Great little spot. Gyro and breakfast plate was very flavorful. It was unexpected and can't wait to go back More
The food is good and big plates. Just it is a little lake of flavor. Nevertheless, the experience is good. More
Great Greek food. Just go and experience it. I went for lunch with some coworkers and food was delicious.
This was my first time trying Greek food. I'll let the before and after photos speak for themselves. More
