Worst place ever !!!!! I came in to see Kimberly on a groupon deal ( I should of known better). I've been having my hair professionally colored for over 20 years and never have I had an experience like this. Kimberley's skills are out dated and she doesn't know when to admit she's wrong. I went in for a root touch up( bleach) and a partial highlight ( lowlights in my case) I offered to give her the formula for the toner that was previously used on my hair by my former stylist before I moved to Austin. She said that it wasn't going to matter because she used a different product line ( the product line doesn't matter they all have the same base levels, gold, red, brown, violet, blue, etc.) I showed her a picture of exactly what I wanted, to make it easy for her. Needless to say instead of having platinum blonde hair with some darker blonde/caramel Lowlights I ended up with Cooper roots and dark ash blonde hair. She obviously didn't use a neutral base color and used a red base instead. I wasn't happy when I sat back in the chair after being shampooed and seeing my hair for the first time. She said it didn't turn out the way she thought it would. She offered an additional appointment for the coming Sunday 10/8/17 to fix the color mess up, so I agreed to come back. I owed her an extra charge for some additional color product but she told me not to pay her until I came back and was happy with my hair. I came back for the follow up appointment and I told her what I really wanted to have done to correct the situation and she insisted upon doing a full foil instead of just bleaching my roots and pulling it through the middle of the hair shaft to blend it and then toning it so that the red/copper tones would disappear. She used a 10 volume lifter which wasnt strong enough to lift out the copper tones. I had dozed off in the chair as she foiled my hair cause I had mentioned to her that I had driven from austin to houston and back the night before after working a full day. Needless to say I was tired. After she shampooed me and I sat back in her chair and I looked in the mirror and my hair was worse. I had yellowish orange hair. I wasn't happy and was severly dissappointed in the outcome. She offered to put a neutral color on it but in my opinion if you cant get it right by the second time, I'm not going to come back a third time and let you mess it up even more. I would probably end up bald. Kimberly knew I wasn't happy so she said it was fine if I just went ahead and left, so I did. I wasn't going to pay her another dime in addition to the Groupon I purchased for her services and I left her hair shack ( I wouldn't call it a salon by any definition). Later that night @ 9pm I get a phone call from her phone and it was her husband asking if I left without paying. I told him that she had my groupon voucher number already and that she screwed my hair up and that I was going to have to pay even more money to have somebody who actually knows what they're doing fix it. He hung up on me after I said that. The next afternoon ( today 10/9/17) I get a very rude and unprofessional text from her(1st photo), photos 2-4 are of my actual hair, and the last photo is the picture that I showed her of what I wanted. 2 totally different looks. I notified her that I will be filing a complaint with groupon and the Texas cosmetology board. It's not ok to screw up somebody's hair and then demand payment for a bad job when they're going to have to pay even more money fix it. I may not being a licensed stylist but after having my hair colored 80+ times in my lifetime I'm pretty sure I know a thing or two about coloring my hair. STAY AWAY from this place!!!!!
