Scuba Finatics - I just spent 45 minutes writing a huge review with all these personal bits of information that no one really needs or cares to know about. Here is what I should have put initially: Staff - 5 star, will and have gone over and above for service, sales, the staff are all personable and very knowledgeable. Not pushy sales people who are there only to make a commission. When I have a question I know I will get an answer or a "let me get back to you on that" and then they will when they have the answer. Shopping - lots of stock in shop to try on, touch and discover, not so much that it gets dusty and leaves you questioning the safety and/or quality, items ordered are received quickly, you do get a timeline that is accurate when you order something Pricing - we have found the prices fair and similar or better to other shops (we don't actually shop around anymore) Service - I literally cannot say enough wonderful things about this, never, in any shop for any product in my life have i had a retail experience where they will go to bat for you on different things. And, all the service we get on our equipment, it is underpromised and overdelivered Location - parking and it's free, you can easily carry tanks out to your car. The shop is clean and tidy, well organized, fitting areas. Courses - well organized, clear outlines of what is expected, timing, staff to student ratios are above adequate. Communicating with the store - always fast responses, clear hours or sufficient signage on what can be expected in the event of a change in hours. Scuba Finatics has the traditional sense of community in the diving world. Multiple shops participating in events together. No one (in my experience) is left to feel they didn't fit into a social hierarchy. Everything about them feels honest. I am so happy to have found them and look forward to many years of being a good customer.

10/10 would recommend! Service was the fastest I've ever had, and I've used multiple dive shops in the city for many years. Scuba Finatics definitely had the fastest and most honest service, and all for a decent price. Tim is extremely knowledgeable and does not over charge for his services. The shop itself is bright and organized. It reminds me of being at dive shops in other more tropical places in the world, has a good vibe and the staff are super friendly! Finally, there is tons of free parking. You don't have to cross the road with your dive tank or hobble around carrying your gear as you wait at stop lights to get to your car! I will definitely be bringing my gear back here for annual servicing, and for all my diving needs!

I obtained my Open Water SDI certification with Scuba Finatics. Rick (instructor), Tim (instructor) and all Dive Masters made this experience fun and easy. They do a really good job and have a very serious attitude about diving security and risks. For a very competitive price you get: training (2 days in a pool), rental gear (which is good quality), exams (2 days in open water) and SDI certificate. On their facebook page they regularly organize dives for pros and for beginners. The store itself has everything you need and the stuff is very friendly and take the time to respond to all your questions.

Great very fast service. Had two sets of SCUBAPRO regs serviced, one has had three down south trips over the past 18 months two trips of were liveaboards so rinsing was not the best during the trips and those regs had a reasonable amount of sea salt build up. Regs were turned around with in a day or two, fastest service I've ever seen. Tim provided also comments on things he discovered during servicing. The service costs were quite reasonable. The store has a good selection of gear. I highly recommend Scuba Finatics, friendly staff, fast and good value for the service!

I spent some time talking with the sales associate; she was all but happy to make sure I had everything I needed for my upcoming trip.... she took the time to also educate me on future possible upgrades! I also inquired about possible courses and she was again happy to walk me through those as well. As a novice in this world I was happily met with enthusiasm and knowledge. I look forward to all future opportunities to use from this company.... thank you again

Scuba Finatics is a great new shop for Ottawa and area scuba divers and those who want to get into the sport. It is clean, very well organized with competitive pricing. They are friendly, helpful and offer great service & advice. The location is convenient just off Bank Street on the way to many of the St. Laurent dive sites, and the free parking right outside the store makes it easy to get the tanks in and out for a fill. Highly recommend it.

The Scuba Finatics dive centre is fresh, clean, well stocked and perfectly located. It’s on the way to the dive sites along the St. Lawrence. Tim is a very knowledgeable and professional instructor/operator. The facility has a brand new compressor for tank fills! Free parking is also available. Our family had a very positive experience and will definitely make this our regular, ‘go-to’ spot for all our scuba needs.

I had the best experience getting certified here. The people are amazing and beyond super-friendly. The instructors love what they do and it shows. I highly recommend taking the first step and signing up. It's a learning experience, but after a little fun and hard work you open a door to a whole new world you didn't have access to before. I am looking forward to joining some of their dives in the future.

Getting certified from Scuba Finatics has been a fantastic experience from start to finish. Everything from the online course, to the in water portion has been a seamless experience. The instructor and Dive Master to student ratio was amazing and really gave us the practice time we needed to both pass our certification as well as feel comfortable in the water. I would recommend this location to anyone.

Made it out for opening day. Store is clean and well organized. They have decent stock for the essentials and they can bring in anything else you need, at competitive prices! Air fill station coming soon - super convenient for those in the East and on the way to St. Lawrence dive sites.

Just completed the open water course with Rick and Sean and had a blast. All of the pros. involved were extremely helpful, patient and kind. The shop staff are very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this shop! Already looking forward to doing more courses through this shop. A+

Friendly staff and great service. Air fills are fast and “fuss free”. The Shearwater line of computers are available to rent so you can make an informed decision about which direction to go. They also have a great selection of wetsuits including the Waterproof line.

Great new dive shop in the Ottawa area. Well organized, excellent service, and knowledgable staff with lots of experience diving in Canada and internationally. If they do not have something in the store, they will make sure to get it for you as fast as possible.

I m having a hard time to see underwater, my gauges, close reading... But after talking to Tim Vesina he gave me good advice and sold me a perfect mask with lenses corrective glasses... so no problems anymore... Thks Tim... recommend you anytime...

Best diving club in Ottawa !! Amazing service and very friendly staff ! They’ll even help you out carrying your tanks when you come over for refills. Their inventory is very mixed and certainly the best place to buy a spool. Great job guys !!
