Cannot believe the prices at this place. I visited the Westgate mall location and was horrified when I asked for a bottle of water and they asked for approx. $2.50! So instead, I asked if they had juices, and if so, what kind? She had absolutely no idea if they had juices or juice like drinks. I was asking the staff as I did not have my glasses with me and could not see well. So I ended up leaving drinkless...LOL But I returned the following day glasses in ✋, because I just couldn't believe that a staff member who works somewhere, would not know anything about the products he/she sells. Not only does second cup sell juice, (many different varieties) but they also sell smoothies and other juice-type refreshments! The prices are not for everyone, as they are quite high, and the service leaves MUCH to be desired here at the Westgate mall location. I won't be back.

I was in this location on Saturday January 14. I waited in line. Three mall employees walked in AFTER me. The woman and man working behind the counter greeted these three people immediately. Then when the customer at the cash was done they skipped right over me and went to their mall friends. I was not greeted or even acknowledged in any way. I will NEVER be back to this location again and I STRONGLY suggest that no one else spend their hard earned money here. If I could give zero stars I would FYI just to let you know no manager or anyone reached out. And I did call and inquire if there was perhaps some policy that mall employees get preferred treatment due to time constraints on their breaks

Christmas sea sons spirit is not available at this location Showed up at 10 to 6 on Sunday for hot chocolate and I was told in no uncertain terms that it was not possible and that they were closing when I pointed out that they were still open I was told that no they were closing and that was that In addition when I complain they told me I should I should call the owner I can do one better than that I strongly advise that people go somewhere else for hot chocolate there are many other better locations of this one or even better go to Starbucks just across the street

I asked for a large coffee with 2 sugar and 2 cream. All of the sudden, one of the workers gave me a cup only filled with black plain coffee. It caught me off guard as it was my first time at SECOND CUP. Anyway, I went to the back table and put sugar and cream. The coffee was a one time greatest taste, I've never tasted like it. Definitely looking for to going back again for more enjoyment

If I could, I would give this store 0 stars. I placed an order for 7 coffees on STD and received the 7 coffees with no milk, but they had sugar and stir sticks. No milk wouldn't have been a major issue, however all 7 cups of coffee we ordered are half filled with coffee grinds and none of it is drinkable. When I attempted to call the store I was rudely hung up on. I can say, without a doubt, that this has been the worst experience I have received with an Ottawa business. For Shame.

So today, I went here because Tim Horton’s lineup was too busy. It was much quicker to go and get my coffee here. I walked in and I ordered and cold brew coffee. She handed it to me and said the milk was on the counter. This is different for me, the coffee usually comes with the milk in it. But overall, I got good service. I’d return. Only thing, the medium cold brew is as much as a Starbucks ice coffee.

Extremely rude barista. Ordered a drink and everyone after me was getting theirs before mine. I told her what I ordered after waiting 15 mins. She proceeded to make it, made the wrong drink. I came back and told her, she then proceeded to roll her eyes and complain at her coworker about me being rude. Horrible customer service, never coming back here again.

Got a large a blended matcha.. I’ll give the girls the benefit of the doubt because they all seemed new but tasted like just oat milk and blended ice. Been like this the past few times I’ve order, not just a one time occurrence. If I’m paying for a $8 drink I’d hope it would taste a little bit like more like it’s supposed to.

My go-to location since the day it opened. I have the opportunity to experience several locations and I can say with certainty that this is one of the happier, cleaner, more knowledgeable ones to visit. They try hard and it shows.My expectations are always met. Well, except that wee annoying bugaboo about not allowing me to buy the remainder cheesecake! LOL!

Store is always clean, staff is friendly, product is always good, but service is consistently slow between order prep and customers being allowed to loiter in the store while they decide if they even want to order. If you have time to kill it’s not a big deal, but expect at least a ten-minute wait time before you can place an order.

I try not to put politics into determining my decisions on things but in this case I admit that I do. I choose Second Cup over the foreign competition because it feels right. Besides, the coffee I find is great and worthy. This location is a nice addition to the mall. ☺️ …

It's a very friendly environment, never have had their coffee before until I randomly tried it. It's a great blend of coffees. The staff there are extremely friendly, and polite. I definitely recommend going there if you like their coffee.

I’m still standing here after 15 min with no customer and the baristas are STRUGGLING to make two hot chocolates (made my drink wrong 3 times) Cancelled the order got an attitude from staff… this is kinda funny :)

The baristas are nice enough, but every single time I order a FLAVOURED (maple, vanilla, cinnamon toast, etc) latte I receive plain/unsweetened. Because of how hot they steam the milk it takes about ten minutes before it can be safely

Visited on a weekend and the employees argued loudly with a customer about a wrongly made drink, stopping all service and holding everyone else up. Our order was then made wrong too. Would definitely not recommend going there!!

I got an espresso from here recently. I mostly only drink them, I’ve had good one I’ve had bad, this was the worst ever. I’ve had espresso from gas stations that are better. Really leaves a bad taste in your mouth. More

Cheerful helpful staff. I noticed at night other coffee shops have 2 people in the evening. Here they have 1 person sweeping, washing and serving coffee until they close.

Disappointed went in for coffee at 8pm when mall closes at 9pm got told coffee machine closed for cleaning because girl didn't want to be late so no coffee for me

The espresso is always overheated and that makes the crema extremely unstable (gone after one minute) and the coffee undrinkable. Otherwise very friendly service.

Poor service. The girl is chatting and laughing with a friend and ignoring customers. Two customers left the place because of that. You do not want to go there
