For the most part, I have no issues with this store. However, there's 2 things I'd like to point out. When I discovered the red velvet cake here, I came back 3 days(evenings) in a row to buy it. But it wasnt until ny 4th visit in the morning to grab a tea before going to work that the lady told me about the rewards card. Okay, I came in 3 days in a row and was served by the same barista and not told about the rewards I was missing out on. Second thing yesterday I went in for a slice of the red velvet cake to go. I get home and this cake slice that is so stale, it was hard like a rock, I don't know why I was even served this piece of rock that should have never been in the store in the first place, nevermind been served to a paying customer! And at this point, what am I supposed to do? Go back on the bus to go complain about this in the store? It was so atrocious!

My daughter and I came in to treat ourselves to our favourite drink and some dessert. Unfortunately we were left very disappointed with the quality of both. Our iced coffees did not come out well and both cakes were old- the lemon loaf was very dry. We spent a lot of money to end up sharing the one coffee that came out okay and everything else just went to waste. The only good part was that the worker was friendly. Otherwise, bad experience.

This location is getting worse each day. In the morning, particularly, the server is rude and lacks basics sanitary precautions. Most times, only one person is left to tend to customers, charging and preparing the beverages without help. Other times, the servers hide on the back, and you have to yell to call their attention. Last time this happened, I went right to Starbucks and intent to continue doing so.

I would not get excited about the oat milk at Second Cup. Ordered mobile pickup and waited for the my Oatmilk Iced Latte with an "extra shot of cream caramel". Came with maybe 2 ice cubes in it and the top half hot and the milk cold. Stirred it into a lukewarm mess. Not even sure it was espresso and not just coffee poured on top. For $6, very disappointing. Back to Starbucks across the street I guess...

1530 - I was going to get the frozen iced chocolate, with wiped cream and extra topping I was dreaming of since weeks now. Google maps says it's open, I had colleagues scouting earlier: it's open. I arrive there... It's closed! So please publish your COVID-19 hours! . . . . And you lost a client! I'm not trying again. My scale asked me to says "thank you!".

This is my work home away from the office. Great food and drink options, chill music, solid Wi-Fi, and some of the best baristas in Edmonton. It can get busy around the lunch hours, with its close proximity to both the U of A and University Hospital, but there is usually seating room, plus a comfortable patio.

Lovely place to buy a cup and chill off. Popular place to sit and study. The space is cozy, clean and well maintained. The staff are super friendly. The wifi is fast and there are many plugs for charging. The menu is good. I recommend the cold brews for summer. They cold add a few more couches.

Usually this location is really good, but today we waited 20 minutes for our lattes with no one ahead of us in line, and I was given a super mega sweet caramel or maple latte (coma inducing sweetness) when I asked for a regular vanilla bean latte.

Meetup a friend last week at this wonderful place. It's my friend's favorate coffee store and its first time for me because it's kind of far from my area. Perfect coffee and cookies, and very warmly service. No doubt five stars!!!

Had a monster brownie and vanilla bean latte. Pretty standard experience of a cafe. Simple music, quiet atmosphere and decently comfy furniture. Great place to read, study or relax.

Service at this location is always FANTASTIC!! This location makes the best tasting coffee, and the server is always very kind. I always prefer going to this location. It is so close to the university as well.

It was hard to hear anything, so my order was slightly off, and since it was to go, I don't notice until it was too late. Otherwise great customer service!

A perfect quiet second cup, with some of the friendliest staff .... Love coming here for a break from work at the hospital across the street

A little more expensive than the other Canadian favourite, but worth the extra $$. The vanilla flash cold brew is my personal favourite.

Lots of room for 10 to 12 team members to sit and have a group break. Just don't bring any external food! You will be asked to leave!!!

Would give five stars as it’s usually a very good second cup location but when I’ve gone the past couple weeks the quality has dropped

Italy bakery does their pastries. Nice to sit on patio to enjoy the coffee and muffin.
