"We visited this carpark via Duncan Street last Saturday"
"I went there today,never again"
"Why would anyone on earth pay $15 park for nothing? We went in to check out a resto to dine in, it was closed, we headed back to the carpark straight away, just stayed literally 2-3 mins in there"
"Parked here o 21/3 and the lift is out of order so had to use the stairs to get to the ground level and later to get back to the car"
"Very helpless staff"
We visited this carpark via Duncan Street last Saturday. On the corner of Ann Street and Duncan Street is a "Carpark Closed" sign so maybe get your staff to remove the sign as motorists would think your carpark is closed. The entry boom gate was raised and the machine was not working at 3pm. When we went to exit at 10pm, we require a 6 digit code so we pressed the help button. An operator answered after 5 minutes and gave us a code then hung up. The boom gate didn't open so we called the help button again and waited another 5 minutes. Now we had cars behind us. An operator answered and gave us only 3 digit code and hung up. We were still stuck at the exit gate. We pressed the help line button for the third time and waited another 5 minutes for help. This time the operator gave us a 6 digit code and the amount appeared on the pay pass pad and eventually the exit boom gate opened. We were happy with paying $10 but waiting over 20 minutes to exit the carpark is unacceptable.
I went there today, never again.I was admitted but there were no parks. There was a 1300 number to call. The person I spoke to said to call the phone at the gate.I could`nt find the symbol on the first attempt it was so dirty and worn so I reversed back and done another lap-still no parks. This time rang the same number, different operator who told me the computer was showing vacancies and to go round again-still no parks.Third call and got the first operator who said I could go out .No answer at the barrier phone symbol ,so I HAD TO PAY FOR NOTHING!A LUNCH MEETING WHO COULD`NT WAIT,$28.00 OUT OF POCKET AND 45 MINUTES OF WASTED TIME DOING 3 LAPS OF THE PARK AND USELESS CALLS TO OPERATORS.NEVER AGAIN.
Why would anyone on earth pay $15 park for nothing? We went in to check out a resto to dine in, it was closed, we headed back to the carpark straight away, just stayed literally 2-3 mins in there. As we are about to pass through the boom bar, we inserted the ticket back assuming there's a grace period. Shocked when i saw the screen asking us to pay $15, i have rang the gate person and explained the situation thinking there was a mistake, know what the lady advised? I have to pay what the system asked me to pay coz A FLAT RATE IS A FLAT RATE. well im not stupid and im not gon spend a single dime fo nothing you RIP OFFS! Be careful fellow customers/consumers.
Parked here o 21/3 and the lift is out of order so had to use the stairs to get to the ground level and later to get back to the car. Am guessing 3/4 of the population of the Valley have urinated in the stairwell and the cleaner believes airing out is the best form of cleaning. The smell has taken at least two years off my life and is still entrenched bin my nostrils. Just a disgusting effort. Nothing better than paying a premium price for something so far from premium it is not funny. Good luck to anyone who parks here as the parks are so small, driveway is narrow and the smell can cause irreparable damage to your lungs, eyes and clothes.
Very helpless staff. The pay machine took my ticket and didn’t return it after I pay the parking fee. When I press the assistance button. No one is answering at the phone call AT ALL! It’s about 10-15mins. No one answered. Then I found the help line from the google map. Waiting about another 10-15 mins to get someone helped out. The guy on the phone call said , we can just press intercom to get out when we reach the gate. He will open the get for us. Then..when we are on the gate , it’s about another 5mins to get someone to do so.. and explain everything again.......... This is really the only time I give 1 start review...
Needed bathroom. Asked attendant for.key as it says on door that u need key for bathroom. Guy looks me up and down and started making excuses because im not wearing a 3 peice suit. I Mentioned that bathroom needs key. He pauses to think. Still says no. Keys for resturants patrons only he says. Whatta joke. Making up excuses based on first impressions. No wonder why the stairs smell of pee like another poster said. As its in the valley most bathrooms are locked because of the types that were around. Yet base his no on first impressions
Went for lunch and was expecting the restaurant would validate for parking but turned out it was for dinner only so we had to pay for the 40 min we parked and it cost us $38! What a rip off! On top of that, the lift wasn’t working making us climb stairs from floor 4 to ground and back, plus the stairwell stank like urinal and vomit, plus the pay station was dead on ground level outside. Not happy with the price, and even worse with the lack of maintenance. Be careful with pricing parking guys! Definitely a lesson learnt!
Have you ever parked your car here? It’s f.....g expensive, the parking is $15 sth per hour, so I put $20 note in the machine, and it changed me a four dollars voucher. Damn, which means twenty an hour, who would come back and park? I got another story, I saw a woman was so shocking and cried, because it charged her $43 dollars for parking few hours, which the big sign said $9 ... very confusing if you don’t look at the terms and conditions before parking.
What a rip-off. Do not park here except in extreme circumstances. Massive sign states $9 parking after 4pm. We stayed 2 hours and were charged $15.38. They said their advertising was legal as usually it's $9 for 20mins and the sign is to indicate that the $9 is for the first 30 mins (although it doesn't say that - unless it's in very small print).
Prices are really expensive and their pay station doesn't take phone tap payment. Also it said it takes cash on the screen but it actually doesn't. I was waiting for my card to come in the mail as the last one was lost and I usually can pay anything with my phone or cash but the pay station didn't accept that. I had to call up to sort it out.
What a rip off parking place. $15 all day parking advertised and I got charged $66. Boom gates don't open with $66 ticket..so you must call security and provide credit card details in order to leave the premises. I will never park there again and I will advise all my friends and work colleagues that work in the government to NOT PARK there.
One of the most disgusting car parks I have ever encountered. The car park is tight, itinerants use the stairwell as a toilet, there is constantly vomit on the lower levels. The whole car park STINKS to high heaven! On top of all this, it is now one of the most expensive car parks in the valley. Park here if you don't value your health!
I've never been to a 1 star carpark until I parked here. It smells like pee! The ticket machine had no tickets left so I had to call the support to open it and it took another 15 minutes to get them to print a ticket out. The machine didn't even accept a credit card for another customer. I recommend avoiding this carpark.
Horrible company. Fail to inform regular monthly car park tenants that the car park will temporarily closed. Irresponsible people! Have to arrive home to see that the car park is closed! 50% of the time that I park there, the elevator was never working. Horrible and definitely do not recommend to anyone.
The payment thing said $16 for the 50 mins I stayed so I put in my card and it says $16.40 taken... Nowhere was I warned of additional surcharges. Have a 1 star review because you have the audacity to charge me 40c more than you said you would when I put my card in - which is very illegal.
I tried to use the pay station it said $5. But would not accept money.. so i went to the gate it said $23.57 for 20 min parking .. omg this was a complete rip off. Cheaper at the airport.. that says something. i will definitely never park there again or recommend any one to use.
1 hour wait time on emergency support on the phone that's a disgrace. How many carpark do you have. How many staff do you have doing calls. No where near enough. No hungry thieves steer clear cheaper options in Chinatown. That are reliable. And have CUSTOMERS SUPPORT!!
Went to eat a pizza up here with a friend. Got told to finish it in 5 mins because it wasn’t ‘alfresco’ (even though it’s was literally just that) by a service attendant who was very uncouth. I then threw up the pizza, getting capsicum stuck up my nose. Won’t be back!
Great location to park when going to the Valley. Cheap parking for the weekend when booking online. And usually there’s enough spots. Only thing though is it is a tight squeeze and the stairs smell like piss. But that’s expected in an area near the Valley
Easy to access car parking close to both Fortitude Valley and a good distance from the city if you needed to walk there. Weekend and evening parking is reasonably cheap for where the parking is located and felt that my car was safe being left there
For a car park that is so stingy that they won’t print you a ticket for your paid parking but then refuses to let you out without your nonexistent ticket, you’d think they would do something about the piss stench and poor construction.
You pre book with these people so you're guaranteed a spaceand when you get there there's no spaces but they've already taken your money I send you a round two other places it's if they guarantee you a spot it should be available
Good spot to park a car. Freshly repainted. Dual entries. Slight markdown due to high price for drive up prices which although reflects market pricing still has a sting to it. Difficult to prebook at short notice.
Hi , I'm trying to get the height of your car park at the Chinatown carpark ,Brisbane . My vw van is 2.1 MTS high . I see one entrance ,by your photo is 2.0? MTS. What is it . You have another entrance at 1.o9
I had some trouble with my ticket and phoned for help. I was met by an extremely rude person who sounded frustrated. Will never park here again based on the experience. Need training in customer service.
A lovely aroma of pee in their stairs and not much better in the carpark. They put the price up when new owners purchased the carpark, so it is not 50:50 if it is worth it me driving to work or not.
My car was very happy to have a rest here, she made new friends with various coloured cars and got to experience China without leaving Australia. My car was super happy and will return.
Absolute RIPOFF!!! AVOID THIS FILTHY URINE SMELLING CARPARK! No security. Had a sign displaying $5 parking on a Sunday. Parked for 1 hour and got charged $16 upon leaving.
Park is expensive unless u got the free parking ticket from buying products from nearby duty-free stores. It is good to park during weekends
In the heart of Fortitude Valley and one street back from Brunswick Street near the Police station so really central with good access.
Great place to park if you're the designated driver for the weekend. $16 flat rate on weekends. Which is quite a good price :)
Good carpark. Don't have as many opportunities for complimentary parking whn shopping. Easier to.park at mcquirters down road.
If you have to go to the Valley then I recommend parking here. Get your parking ticket on line in advance, much cheaper.
It is a little expensive but rightly so for the location. If you want to park here, prebook online for the best price.
Too expensive. Just a few weeks ago early bird prebooked parking was $13. Increased to $17 a 30% increase!
If you say it's $9 for a Saturday don't charge $14 for us to park you rip off merchants.
Was so easy to find and the costing was not like all the expensive parks in the valley.
Place is smell like toilet need clean better. Man sleeping on ground and vomit puddle.
Something is always broken, very often it is full of rubbish and just really dirty.
When someone gets stuck at the exit you'll most likely have to pay extra to get out
Technology to let u out didn’t work properly. Had to ring for assistance. Sloppy.
Convenient but a tad pricey...ample parking but smells terrible in stairwells ..
Best bang for buck.. Especially if you are working in the Fortitude Valley.
Expensive mid week but got to leave the car overnight. 5pm to 6am only $9
進中國城突然變左駕模式(靠右行駛),突然有點不習慣,車道偏小轉彎時多注意輪邊的階梯。 非常貴的停車場,非不得已不要停,停一小時多一點被收38AU。
Easy to get to, easy to get out of and reasonable rates
Convenient to the valley. Can be pricey at peak times
Very central to the valley. Not every cheap though.
Great place to catch a gastly. 5/5 would recommend
Tight squeeze in most areas. Can make you nervouse
服務非常好非常快速 原本停整夜價格應該是要16但機器顯示68整天,反應之後很快改正價格客服很有耐心
Nice and convenient place to park in the valley.
Absolute criminals. $9 for 0-20 mins parking!!!
Not the best parking facility but does the job
Good rates, but you need to get there early.
Great place to park when entering the valley
Park on the roof for $9 early bird parking.
Very confusing on where to get out and pay.
Easy access. .good security and affordable
It was ok though a bit on the pricey side.
Great place to park your car. Very safe.
It's a parking structure! Not bad prices
