This place is super nondescript and looks how you'd expect for a basic massage/spa place. I only went here because I got a gift certificate for my birthday but I sure am glad I did! I made an appointment online but realized I was going to be about 15 minutes late (poor planning). I gave them a call letting them know and they were able to accommodate me no problem! I was helped almost right away after ringing the little bell on the counter and offered water. The room itself was nice and clean and had a large cubby for me to store my clothes and things. My only complaint is that the rooms aren't fully closed off - the walls stop about 1-2 feet from the ceiling and the doors are sliding doors so you can hear the people next to you if they're talking/moving a lot. When I went there happened to be an older man that was making more noise than totally necessary. I get that you're enjoying your massage sir, but I 100% don't need to hear it. Amy had some soft music playing though so I was able to focus on that and relax. The massage itself was AMAZING. I got a 60-minute combo Thai/Deep Tissue and I've never felt so great after a massage. I have scoliosis and carry a lot of tension in my traps and between my shoulder blades that can be hard to get to. She somehow cracked my entire spine by doing this move at the end where she put her knees in my back and bent me backwards. I have no idea how she is so strong but it was insane and I've never had my back cracked that fully before. Love that they have an Early Bird special for massages booked earlier in the day! Just be sure to bring cash since it is CASH ONLY. Will be back!

ZERO STARS!!! The WORSE customer service EVER! They made me an appointment only to move my appointment 30 minutes later. Then when I got there the woman on the front didn't even acknowledge me because she was arguing with another customer about the pay. 15 minutes later, I finally said I'm here for my appointment. She looked at me, said nothing and continued with the other customer. 5 minutes later I asked if someone else would be coming to help. She looked at her schedule said "No appointment" and got on the phone. She told me to call them. I called and "them"/owner or whomever answered and made the appointment said "What are you talking about?" I said, "You made me an appointment then rescheduled half hour later". She argued with me for another minute then said, "Oh yea tell her to refresh her computer". So I tell this to the woman up who is at the place...she looked at me and said, "No appointment". What in the actual £#(%!!!!!!! I left and NEVER will I ever come there again!!

My husband brought me here on our wedding anniversary for a couples massage (yay!). The whole experience was amazing! We had Patti and Gigi work on us, and we both felt relief from some incredibly tight spots/ knots that we had. We both circled "medium" pressure on our intake form. I would say their version of "medium" might be too intense for some folks, but it hit the spot for us (i.e. if you are newer to massage, or very sensitive to touch, I would recommend circling the "light" option). Also, when there was an area that was too tight or tender, the girls could sense that, and adjusted what they were doing to match where our body was. Overall a great find, and we will be back. One note/suggestion: if there is a way to soundproof the rooms more, that would be awesome. There is a dance studio next door, and we could here that music at times during our massage. Definitely a little distracting to hear dance music when getting a massage. Overall very happy with our experience!

Nadiya was simply amazing. I called and was accepted same day, although whomever took my call did not confirm my appointment in their system. Fortunately, I was serviced without issue and NOT cheated with my time. The ambiance and atmosphere was very tranquil, the hot stones were actually HOT, and the heated bed upon arrival was phenomenal. Something to be aware of, gratuity is automatically applied to your total amount, which is not disclosed prior to them charging your card. Nadiya deserved what I handed to her prior to seeing my receipt. However, communication about a business' practices is key. Not enough to deduct a star, but enough to reconsider double tipping next time. In sum, this place smells good, feels clean, and is definitely worth trying, especially in the evening.

Had a great experience!!! The massage was perfect & the facial was even better!! Both my mom & I HIGHLY recommend it. Update- make sure when you make the appointment you don't get overbooked or the owner will do the massage & she's not as good plus she doesn't go for the whole 60 minutes. I've gone 2 more times & I had these issues on 2 out of 4 visits. I still highly recommend it. Tammi (massage lady) is AMAZING!! She is very good & she is very thorough. So is Candy for deep tissue! Update- now I've been coming pretty consistently & I've come to appreciate this place!! Just had a massage from Nadia & it was amazing! Which is why I've gone to 5 stars. Honestly.... Nadia was amazing I'll be back even quicker now❣️ HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Don’t come here for facials. No extractions or any analysis of your face to personalize the service. I asked if they can do them but the esthetician did not understand what I said. I felt like she just put a bunch of creams on my face then called it a day. The facial was done outside under a tent which was fine due to COVID but she had an alarm that kept going off every 10 minutes and the neighbors were very loud which didn’t make for a relaxing environment. My results look as if I had done an at-home facial; I did not notice a difference at all. Overall, I’m sure this place is good for massages but I will not be returning for a facial.

We have a busy schedule so I love that this place is open late - and it's 3 minutes from our house. Took my boyfriend to treat him to a massage after a particularly stressful couple of weeks and he talked me into joining him for a massage. May and Eva were our therapists and they were AMAZING - accommodating and very polite. The ambiance in the rooms is ideal; dimly lit, clean, and quiet. We got the "combination" massages and they were incredible - both ladies could find exactly where our tension was held in our muscles and really worked them over. As a bonus, the price is very reasonable; I highly recommend!

Had the works here for my 30th bday treat on Sunday 18th. I was literally going in and out of daydreams. It was so very relaxing the pressure was perfect. I haven't had a massage in years as I find it very difficult to switch off and relax but here I certainly did. I will be going back to get those extra kinks out. At first when you walk in you are unsure as the lobby is very simple but Amy was extremely calm and sweet, once you go back you know you are in a clean and peaceful environment. Can't wait to go back. Body Srub is out of this world my skin has never felt so smooth. Loved it.

I had the most mind-melting, head tingly, ultra relaxing combo massage and European facial today from Chloe. I’ve had many massages and facials at many price points and this was by far the best experience I’ve ever had. Her pressure was even, the massage was symmetrical, she paid attention to detail and I was comfortable and warm the whole time. They use eminence skincare products which I love and on top of that the price was very reasonable. I’m excited to be a regular customer! Make sure you book directly through them, they no longer use/accept classpass.

I cannot recommend this spa at all! First off the place is sketchy looking and the door was locked. Perhaps that customary in LA, but being from the east coast that really surprised me. My massage was below average. The therapist did not rub my head or feet and spent a ridiculous amount of time rubbing my stomach. I don’t want my stomach rubbed! Who does? It wasn’t expensive, but it wasn’t worth anything. I don’t like being harsh - but hopefully they will improve and get better therapists. Until then, find another spa.

First time client, was pleasantly surprised. Overall, I was very pleased!! It was a quiet place with nice atmosphere and a very comfortable table. I was greeted and made to feel welcome :) The massage itself was very good!! Paul did a great job and was very nice & sweet! He earned a very generous cash tip! I will definitely be back very soon for another wonderful massage. I recommend this place for a professional great massage, at a fair good price.

Her treatments have given me relief from chronic shoulder and back pain. In addition to her therapeutic skills, she is kind, gracious, and her calm, gentle manner is always soothing. I came in this evening for neck shoulder tightness/fatigue that was terrible. I saw Chisa who was absolutely fantastic ! She immediately knew what muscle groups to target and pinpointed the areas. I had one of the best 30min massages I've had in a long time. I always get results here and their prices are by far very reasonable for what you get. Can't say enough...you guys are the best!!

Amy (one of the owners, massage therapists and estheticians) was AMAZING. Best wax I have ever had, they use cirepil products and it was my first time.. I will never go back to the regular hot wax. This was my first time visiting the his spa but not my first Thai massage. Mai was absolutely AMA(I)ZING! She was strong and intuitive and worked patiently on my resistant muscles until they surrendered to her talent and understanding of massage. I can’t wait to go back for my next appointment! She was great and I loved how peaceful, clean and quiet the spa was! Excellent experience.

Taneenad has been regular massage therapist at Self Indulgence Spa for years and she is simply incredible. She’s communicative and intuitive and applies the perfect amount of pressure. She recognizes areas of discomfort and knows exactly how to loosen the area. I come in with shoulder pain and limited mobility and I leave pain free with increased range of motion. I’m very thankful!

It was AMAZING. I forgot what my massage therapist's name was but she was great. I feel like I have a new body. I didn't want a Swedish massage but I also didn't want a deep tissue. She gave me the perfect balance of both. Only thing is they only take cash so I wasn't able to tip her as much I wanted to! Just make sure you bring cash lol. Spa is very clean and very relaxing

Booked a couples massage where they confirmed prior that we’d have the same room. When we got there, they said being in the same room was no longer possible. But as a nice gesture, they gave us an extra 10 minutes in the massage. Outside of that, it was arguably the best deep tissue massage I’ve ever had. Really strong. Just what we wanted. We’ll be coming back.

I received a gift card for Self Indulgence Spa for my birthday and I have to say, it was the best gift and massage I have had. It is reasonably priced, clean and friendly. Relaxing atmosphere. I had a great experience here. The facilities are clean, the rooms and beds are warm which really helps relaxation and I got a great massage. I wish she had asked if I had any trouble areas before she started, because the massage was not focused on those areas, but it was otherwise wonderful. I would definitely go back.

They called me 2 hours before my appointment time to say the therapists weren't arriving until an hour after my appointment time. Unfortunately my schedule didn't allow for the change and they were not sympathetic whatsoever. Unprofessional and poor customer service. I will not be going there.

I’ve been coming here for years and I would never go to a different massage place. It’s clean, relaxing, and all their masseuses are great at what they do! The hardest part is the drive home! I’m always too relaxed and getting behind the wheel again is a buzz kill haha

I booked a massage for 10 am through Class Pass, and no one was there even though my reservation was confirmed. The person to whom I spoke on the phone was very rude and unapologetic about not being there despite Google and Class Pass saying they were open.

I had Tammy and she was just amazing. She was deliberate and gave me the most wonderful Swedish massage. Be aware that you can only enter through the back, so make sure to go down the alley and there’s parking behind the spa. I will definitely be back again

Great massage except they expected a $35+ tip on a $97 massage for 90 minutes. Maybe the massage price higher to compensate and the company can pay the worker more. Also the music only played part time so the beginning and end were without music.

Don't let the exterior of this salon fool you, Self Indulgence spa is absolutely amazing. Best massage of my life! Highly recommend the combination massage, especially if you have tech-neck or back pain from a desk job. Can't wait to go back!
