If it was up to me I would end up scrolling online and never booked anything. It was the best decision ever! The trip was fantastic everything about it was just beyond my expectations. From the flight times to the resort, the people, the food and drinks, my room everything was perfect! The resort itself is well maintained; I was in awe when I got there, the decor is really pretty too. I really enjoyed not only the weather but the ambiance and the whole environment. I met so many cool people, my butler and the whole staff all were very welcoming. I really liked the diamond club resto/bar that was by the beach. The view from my room was very relaxing; probably the best thing, room service was great too! I also enjoyed the night events! It was my first time flying with Sunwing and honestly the fact that there were reps with us all throughout the trip was very helpfull. Although I travelled alone, when I got there I didn't feel alone! I was not worried nor stressed. I am back well rested and super happy! I really appreciated the fact that Lola called me a day before my flight to make sure I had everything before leaving and also messaging me as soon as I got back to ask how everything went! Overall, the trip could not have been any better! I have so many people asking me where I went and I recommended it to some who are already looking to book their vacation there too. If a 10 star review was available, this would be it. Where to start it’s hard to say, our first and only family vacation that we were supposed to go on was almost destroyed by passport issues. Sunwing refused to help us, cancellation insurance said you’re out of luck. We were poised to lose over $8,000 that we had saved for five years to finally do our first family vacation. In a last ditch attempt to save our money, and hopefully vacation, we made another attempt and called SELL OFF VACATIONS who we had booked the trip through. It was our luckiest day, the person that saved us was Anna, she fought for us with Sunwing, and didn’t give up at the first no she got. She kept fighting with them for over an hour. In the end she saved our money AND vacation which my husband and I had worked so hard to give to our three boys for years. Anna has not only earned our everlasting gratitude, but she is a true example of what customer service should be. She will from now on be the only person we book any travel through. If you have the privilege of being able to travel, WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND BOOKING THROUGH SELL OFF VACATIONS DIRECTLY WITH ANNA! She is a down to earth person and understands that life does not always work out in a cookie cutter method, and works outside the box to make sure her customers get to enjoy their dreams. Playa Pesquero, Cuba The resort itself is well kept and clean. It is aging and needs updates as well as a fresh coat of paint. The pigs that are skewered in the early morning (6:30) should be done somewhere a little more private. The staff is friendly and helpful. Food: The a la carts are hit and miss. The Romantic and the Italian were superb, while the sea food (no shrimp or lobster) was lack luster at best with slow service. The last a la cart , name unknown was horrible, 8:00 dinner time with main course served at 10:15. The buffet was good if you were not over expecting choice. We brought spices, ketchup, hot sauce, salt&pepper (S&P not needed). Rooms: They were kept clean daily We left the maids a 1 pesos tip every day plus stuff from from (tooth brushes & paste, medicine, feminine products) and I still had to argue that 3 people in a room needed more than 1 roll of toilet paper per day. The mini fridge was hard to keep supplied with water on a daily basis. Pool / Beach: Both were excellent! The pool was a little over shaded with palm trees. The daily activities at the pool area could have been better run and publicized. The beach was as expected, beautiful sand and the water was crystal clear. Snorkeling right beside the beach was a bonus. The exchange rate... was criminal. We paid $284 Canadian for $200 pesos. Fack. Terrible situation, no help: I received a confirmation when I booked my flight to Austin February for travel in April. I note that the email stated that the flight booking is being processed and the travel insurance is confirmed. I did not receive any other email after the original message and assumed the travel documents would arrive sometime before the trip. Since I hadn't received any information I hadn’t been able to complete the preflight information update on the American Airlines system, even though I had a record locator, I called to find out the status of my flight. As I called after regular business hours, the agent I spoke to told me he would leave a note for it to be completed in the morning. At the same time, I sent an email and received a call back the follow day (Tammy) telling me my flight was never booked as the credit card wouldn’t process. The insurance purchase however was processed. After the initial email, I did not receive any email or call to tell me the reservation was not completed but did see that I shouldn’t try to rebook. When Tammy called I had no choice but to book the trip at the current price as I am escorting my elderly mother to Austin can not take a different flight. I have paid the new price for the trip, double the original price and and seeking reimbursement of the difference from SellOffVacations.com. I wrote and spoke to an agent after the trip and the company refuses to take any action. Complaint filed with BBB

We had never met Anna and she simply listened to our request and proceeded to completely fulfill all of our needs. On stop flight, all inclusive package for 14 days and at our desired price. Anna was very energetic and friendly made our decision to take her proposal immediately, even as we were driving. Sorry, not good service. Visited the office and was directed to sit down with an agent, a couple minutes went by as she kept typing on her computer. Wrote down details, said I'll be sending an update by the next day. Nothing the next day, called, she was not in. Left a message to be passed along, still nothing for three days. Visited office again, same agent, no recognition, no notes, had to ask another agetnt for her notes, couldn't find them. It was unfortunate. I know they are busy, but appeared to be unprepared. Hopefully you receive better service. (2 stars for the online service).

Thank you selloff for making all of my vacationing dreams come true (and helping me discover things I didn't even know existed!) Despite booking a trip before the pandemic, all our information was put on hold and frozen in place, worry-free, and when we were ready to travel again it was as if nothing happened and we were flying off to our dream destination in no time! The travel agents, especially Lola, were very knowledgeable and accommodating. Especially in the midst of a pandemic, Lola held our hand through every step and made our trip as safe and hassle-free as possible.

I HIGHLY recommend Gia!! I went though Sunwing when I booked my trip to Cancun and they booked me at the wrong hotel from all of my friends. After 9 attempts to try and switch to my friends hotel (through Sunwing) I went to Gia at Sell Off Vacations and she went above and beyond to make sure I got into the correct hotel.. even though I didn't book through her... and it was the day before. When planning my latest overseas travel, I worked with Carim Pierre, who’s customer service has been nothing short of outstanding. Carim definitely knows his business and showed patience, empathy and great problem solving skills, at a time when dealing with some airlines has become so difficult. Carim has SellOff’s customers interest at heart and wouldn’t give up until he had found a suitable solution for me. He really went above and beyond, I would give him 6 stars if I could. I have dealt with sell off vacations many times and it was always a pleasant experience. We booked a trip for February of this year and dealt with Kathleen Lariviere and she was absolutely amazing, she even checked up on us after our return, this has never happened before, I was so grateful. Anna helped us plan our Cancun, Mexico trip from Ottawa. We had a wonderful time in Cancun. Everything was a smooth sail. Anna helped us plan our trip very well according to our choice. She suggested us a good resort to stay and also gave us little tips to plan our day trips in Cancun. We booked out Trip to Punta Cana Riu with Trisha and had a wonderful trip. Very disappointed! Booked a trip to Hawaii and when flight was canceled, our agent(named Virginia- supervisor) didnt even check to make sure the new flight still had us in extra legroom, which we paid for. I called her the day before our trip to confirm and sure enough, no extra legroom. As it turns out, one of us had to settle for a cramped regular seat for a 10 hour plus flight to Honolulu. Not impressed at all. I wont get into the accommodations she recommended at The Twin Fin.

I have booked online for the last 12 years with selloffvacations. This year my laptop kept freezing so I picked up the phone and called direct. A wonderful lady named Carol Starr Taylor answered I explained we were booking for 7 people to the same resort I've went for 15years. She was beyond friendly and helpful. So much so she got us free superior oceanview at no cost for us as we are yearly repeaters. Ease instead of booking online call Carol you will be truly grateful.

We booked a complete vacation to Italy in the fall of 2016. It included air, a Silver Seas cruise and stopovers in Rome before the cruise and Venice after the cruise. We received first class service from Jennifer Bell. It was our first trip to Italy and Jennifer provided great advice on flight and hotel options. The vacation was one of the best we have ever taken and we will certainly use Jennifer and SellOffVacations for all of our future travel needs.

For anyone looking to book with selloff, be aware. If there are any flight disruptions or changes, they will take weeks to get back to you and have unacceptable wait times on the phone (see screenshot of waiting 2.5 hours before finally giving up). The Travel Counselors tell you they’ll get back to you asap but never do (“asap” was 30 days ago). I am hoping to save someone else the headache of false security and poor quality client service.

Gabriela is a great travel agent. I call her every time I need to go on a trip, sometimes even last minute and she does her best to accommodate my needs. Last year, I bought an all-inclusive package to Cuba and everything went seamless with the trip while some of my friends who purchased their vacation packages on their own ended up having terrible experiences. Booked a vacation online then it was canceled then the email said I was going to receive my refund in four weeks waited 6. Called the number for this place was hung up on multiple times then was told I might receive one in 2 years. I don’t know how anyone has had a good experience booking off this site. I try to be polite with the call centre people but only received people yelling and belittling me. Nightmare!

Please do not deal with sell off vacations. Bough a vacation for me and my family over the internet, payed in full and after they send me another bill. The lady that I was dealing with( Helen L.) toll me that if I did not pay the money I was going to have problems checking in. I payed the money but i will not deal with that company again. After being promised a discount over the phone and receiving a confirmation email (agent Josee Lavoie), the price of my booking inexplicably increased immediately. This deceptive and mean-spirited practice has left me feeling cheated and dissatisfied with your services.

The resort is excellent. All amenities are there including very good Splash Park. A la carte restaurants are excellent the buffet for dinner one night was not very good the food was cold. Other meals at the buffet were all excellent I would recommend this resort to anyone and those with children to stay at memories for the Splash Park

Despite having to work within narrow parameters for the arrival time at my destination, the agent quickly found the right flights at a very good price. Excellent all-around booking experience and I won't hesitate to use their services again.

The agent we delt with in ottawa was very nice. Answered what ever question we might of had. Down part was when we tried to pre book excursions we were told our choices were not valid options. I'm sure that is not the agency's fault but still annoying. Overall, good experience
