Went to this location yesterday to get my kids first passport. The receptionist lady at the front named Ida (lady with red hair) was professional at first, until she rudely made a comment about my one my kids passport pictures asking/assuming if he had some kind of behavioural “issue” or “trouble understanding”because my sons mouth was slightly opened in his picture and how at his age of 3 he should’ve been able to listen to commands if he’s told to do something. Following after the comment she rudely made she said how passport canada probably won’t expect/process the photo with his “mouth like that”. I was not aware of the expectations for a toddlers passport photo. A Childs mouth being open should not be a reason to assume there’s some kind of “issue” with the child REGARDLESS of the age. If there was an issue with the photo Ida could have professional let me know that with a child’s mouth being slightly open that passport canada may not expect it and left it like that, as a posed to assuming somethings “wrong” with my child. He’s a 3 year old kid! Kids move A LOT, sometimes they don’t listen but that’s how kids are! And clearly she doesn’t know how kids act if she had the audacity to make that kind of comment. She should not be in this kind of service if she feels like she can freely make those assumptions.

She refused while her co-worker seeing how she acted said I should go ahead to get registered, while I was being registered she came to the desk and stopped the staff that I have to go outside and the person behind explained that I was the next person I didn’t just walk in, inspite of the explanation, her actions was unprofessional and inhuman. People should be treated with a bit of concerns February 10-2023

Went to this Service Canada today to renew my passport. I went in the afternoon at 1:30pm. It took an hour to get to the front desk as there was a lineup and then another hour to get to the actual desk to see someone. Seeing that I walked in on a Friday afternoon during this time of the year I think this was reasonable. The person who helped me was Anil. He was extremely courteous and patient. I had made a few mistakes in my application and he went through it all and helped me to correct it. He also suggested changes I should make to my application to help protect me against fraud which was extremely good to know. He was very thorough in explaining the entire process from passport application to receiving my passport in the mail. I’ve been to a few Service Canada locations and had some terrible experiences. Anil was very pleasant to speak with and I had a great experience with him .Based on that I would recommend this location.

Then I met Anil for the renewal - what an awesome person! Great chatting with Anil while he was handling the renewal, explained everything so well and went above and beyond. I even told both of the people I encountered they were exceptional and I am really grateful for their dedication and committment to getting it all done right, despite the long lines and obviously disgruntled people they deal with sometimes. THANK YOU!

I came to this location today to get my passport renewed, I accidentally left my iphone on a table 2 feet from me to ask a simple question. I turned around and my phone was stolen. i was very upset and the people at the front desk were rude to me saying that it wasn't their fault even though i didn't accuse them then seemed annoyed that i was crying becuase i have no way of getting in contact with my family becasue i'm in toronto for school and the fact that i did not know exactly how to get home since i used my gps to get there. They kept accusing me of leaving it somewhere else or kept saying i lost it when it was clearly stolen and there were witnesses. they HAVE cameras but would not check them then said they were too close to tell anyway. WORST EXPIRIENCE EVER!!!!! i will NEVER return here again.

Worst location!! The security guards here are rude and the staff here as well. Especially the African American security guard. She does not know what customer service is. She was clearly racist to others than her own. Was extremely polite to people over her own colour and was rude to everyone else. I don’t know how she’s a security guard. One of the things they teach you for security is customer service skills which she clearly lacks. Customer service skills is something everyone here lacks. The lines are really long. Waited three hours for horrible customer service. They do not accommodate people with disabilities or seniors. Everyone has to wait outside in the sun for hours just to go inside and wait in line again. DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION!!!

6 hours waiting lines and even after waiting upto 6 hrs unable to get in. The security call the the manager upon request but the manager has no sense how to talk to the people instead of speaking politely he started yelling on people that its 4pm and shut down the door on their face buly saying come tomorrow start linning up at 6 am in the morning. Lining up for 6 hrs continously 4 days in extereme bad weather is not a joke. Redicilous expreience, so exhausted from last four days visiting that unorganised place again and again.Please improve your services and hire some good and polite people who atleast should know how to talk to people especially the manager. Never ever visiting this place again.

I went there on Mar 20th because of a mistake they made. The receptionist firstly asked me for a driver's licence which I didn't have on me.She refused to let me in and told me I need to contact Immigration !!! I have been in Canada for 30 years. I asked her to get someone else please, she did,and I was told I was in the right place. How many people per day does this inept government employee turn away because they don't have a driver's licence A driver's license is not necessary to conduct any business in a government office. SOMEONE NEEDS TO EDUCATE THIS "GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEE " .All you need is government issued picture ID. Shame on whomever employed her.

We were very pleased with help and support from Peter, he helped us with all our needs regarding our documentation, it was very important for us because we were very stressed . Peter took his time, he was very patient and pleasant . Thanks again dear Peter, God bless you! But we had terrible experience with security guards in this place. An African-American security woman was extremely rude, yelling at people and she was giving orders humiliating people and threatening them like garbage. She has no manners, no communication skills and she was making people smaller…. Please don’t let people like her to feel smaller and emotionally abused!!!! Help…..!

I am surprised at the modest rating this location has received overall. My experience here was excellent. The office opened on time at 8:30 a.m and the line up of around 30 people waiting outside moved very quickly once inside. Everybody I personally interacted with was pleasant and professional. I especially commend Amaran who helped me with my issue-- he was very kind, patient, helpful and knowledgable and provided me with great proactive advice that applied to my situation. Because he took a little extra time to help me, I was there a little longer than I had anticipated, but by 9:15 I was on my way home. Great service, great staff. Many thanks.

Incredible fast! I visited this place to apply for my baby’s passport, I took all my documents according to the checklist on the webpage and the process at this office was way easier! The staff was very friendly, since I checked in, the lady at the front desk was very helpful and nice, I just sat when I heard my name, I was very surprised because I was expecting a longer waiting time... the officer was really fast and took me through the process very clearly. Excellent experience!! The place has many computers so the public can use to fill out forms and print them out. There’s plenty of parking space!

Alert!.... This centre has long waiting queues. I arrived here at 8.15 AM to join the queue and 4 hours later I got inside the office. Actual work ( Getting a SIN number) took 20 mins though. 4 hours was a good enough time for me and below is what I observed (Purely my personal opinion) 1) Either they're understaffed or it might be that there needs to be some serious planning. Either ways, someone from higher authority needs to intervene to sort this out 2) On an average 10 people are let in. Hope this let's you calculate your waiting time depending on where you are in the queue

Service Canada's recent appointment error was incredibly frustrating. Despite being told to come in at 11:00 a.m., there was no appointment scheduled for me. This mistake caused unnecessary inconvenience and left me disappointed. Service Canada should prioritize improving their appointment system to avoid such errors in the future. Clear communication and better organization are vital for providing a smooth and efficient experience for their customers. I hope Service Canada takes this feedback to heart and takes immediate action to prevent similar issues from occurring again.

I normally don't write reviews but I had such a great experience here. 1. I was able to get an appointment for an infant passport online. 2. I got in right away without waiting in the line at my appointment time. 3. The line itself wasn't too bad, maybe 7 people. All of whom I saw come in within 15 minutes of me. 4. I was so nervous about my baby's "bad" photo with mouth open, but the agent was friendly and told me it's completely fine for an infant. She was super wonderful and everything was done within half an hour 5. Less than 2 weeks later passport came in the mail!

I reached here at this location early morning. Around 7 am , I was in first 10 waiting list . First of all their was no security than only one register desk was working . The lady at front desk was consistently using phone. She had no concern to whom ever waiting . No concern for people waiting outside in rain . All she was doing is texting or using her phone. We all ever waiting patiently. After long waiting period of time. I had to leave the area. Without getting my work done. Don't recommend this location. The service Canada should look into this . Pathetic service

Today I had a very bad experience .I had to take my elderly parents for bio metrics and had an online appointment also had the allotted counter booked .But when I wanted to make sure if my parents needed to stand inline for registering I went to asked the receptionist.She was very rude and shouted at me to stand in a line without listening to my question and without understanding what I wanted.But Kudos to the lady who took the bio metrics she was helpful and kind to my parents.These stars for her.

Completely horrible experience. We waited from 830am to 4 pm and management said to leave because they are closing. Said it was our choice to stand outside and wait for them. Zero structure and accountability from staff security and management. I Will never come back to waste my time here. I highly recommend you don’t come to waste your time here either. Manager Sanjay is useless in managing this location. So disappointed in government services that are completely non beneficial to its people.

Worst place ever I visited today I was there in the morning since 8am till 4pm ....just on simple inquiry that I needed to ask n made me stand in the line all day .. the security guard are rude n not helpful... the only job she does is social distance...she won't push inside staff....there two security guards which they don't help u out ....this two security guards will always be seated Inside n doing nothing.....I was very disappointed today ...plz tell your guards to be polite n helpful....

I visited this place just a week ago and there's this black lady in Booth 7. Oh my God! She is a wrong person to relate with on a good day. No regards, no courtesy, so hash and rude and uncultured..even the expression on her face shows clearly that she is not worth representing the organisation, not after I've spent 4 hours on a queue. Unbelievable. Everything she rejected was accepted by another officer after I went back on the queue and got to another booth. She's not worth it.

went to a different office in mississauga to renew my passport and the employees were extremely rude, they didn’t help me at all and sent me back home, I went to this location shortly after, lines up early at 5am and it was so worth it! the employees were super kind and patient despite all the mistakes I had to correct on my form, everything went smoothly and my documents and passport pictures were sent out as soon as possible, highly recommend going here

The black lady and another one was rude as hell at the reception. Why do a job that you can't do. Let someone else do a better job. The "simplified" passport is not simple at all. What a fantastic waste of time. What is the use of a damn simplified passport application Will Never bother with this place again. I can't believe these people get their pay cheque from OUR tax dollars and talk to people like that. She threw me out of the office basically.

Seamless experience, no lineup, took less than an hour to submit the passport application. I would like to express my gratitude to Anil, who has been incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the entire process of applying for a passport. His valuable advice and guidance have not only made the current application smooth but will also be beneficial for future documentation. He's doing a great job while educating the new immigrants in their paperwork.

I had an appointment at 10 a.m. and the welcome desk would check of the required stuff, very friendly lady and then we were in the waiting room to be called in. I love how they keep the place clean. I see the man sanitizing after someone or people finish with the desk and he also cleans the booths which is great to see considering I have small kids. I would like to give 5 stars to Anil at the booth who is very efficent/helpful. Again many thanks!!

Completely unacceptable service, very condescending staff, They make you feel guilty for coming to service canada. She literally asked me on my face that do you regret it by coming in center for your SIN change. I wanted to get it faster rather than waiting for months to arrive at my place. This kind of behaviour is not acceptable at all. Now after this experience I definitely regret on going to this branch. All thanks to you Counter No 7 lady.

Came here for passport application, I had an appointment. The staff was extremely friendly and courteous. They checked everything was in order and asked me to wait. When my turn came Juliana helped me, she was so wonderful and professional. She went above and beyond and helped me submit my application. Five stars to Juliana and all the hard working employees of this location. You have lots of patience and passion keep up the great work.

40 people always standing outside at this location, lined up along the side of the building. No garbage can in sight, so they toss their litter on the ground and it blows all over the plaza and neighbouring residential properties. Be a good neighbour and speak to the plaza's property manager. It doesn't cost a lot to get some garbage receptacles placed outside for those waiting in the rain and snow. Your neighbours will thank you.

The WORST experience I've ever ever had as a newcomer to a country. Waiting 6 hours in the cold without any shelter or seating is borderline illegal. Absolutely no humanity seeing people stand straight for 6 hours just to get a SIN number. How can a government office not let you sit indoors is beyond crazy. Severely understaffed. Be prepared to lose out on your sleep, mental and physical well-being when visiting this place.

One of the ladies who’s work in the front disk, she’s white ass racist and was rude to me while I was try to explain my situation to get help, she was refusing and loudly talked to me to get out from this place and to go to the right place to ask about my needs for my baby child benefit. Hate this place ‘cuz of this devil lady and I’ll not go back because of the bad treatment and experience I had in this place.

Worst experience. Worst staff. Worst manager. Went in on October 28,2020. Waited in the line for 4 hours. The service provider asked for a document which was not listed online for updating the SIN number. Came back within half an hour and she asked me to come in line again. Totally unacceptable. Manager gave horrible response. Never going to come back on this location. They think people don’t have work to do.

AWFUL LOCATION! do NOT come to this location. My parents who are both seniors over 65 waited 4 hours outside in the cold just for a passport renewal!!! And this was their 2nd visit after the first time they noticed a huuuuuge line up. They figured coming earlier but it made ZERO difference. Is this location filled with sloths who work behind desks?! that’s the only explanation I can think of. 0 stars!

Just wanted to share my experience, I went by May 8th walk in to renew my passport. Got there around 8:30am and was inside by 11:30am,waited about 20 minutes more and then met with the agent. She was very friendly, we had a conversation too. She completed my passport renewal and I'm happy to say that I received my new passport today May 17th, 8 working days. Excellent customer service.

This place is disgusting the security guards have aggression trip out thinking that they are cops. I don't like how they talk to people including me, they are pretty rude and disrespectful they need to go immediately. I don't even know how they still have a job. Terrible experience!! After waiting 2 hours, they made a mistake spelling "DANIEL" on a government document. I returned and waited over an hour outside in the heat for the security to come outside and tell all the people waiting they're closed now. I think I'll just go by DAIEL for now on to avoid waiting again. These people are confused about loife .

One of the worst places i have ever seen. Long lines, rude workers and rude security who don't know how to respect old people or people with disabilities. I have waited in long lines like 3 days and i somehow got to get in the rude staff didn't even noticed what i am there for. She was so rude. People come here everyday but never get their work done.

You can go inside a concert or a game for 2 hours and you won't get covid but you cannot go any of the government office inside because you can get covid within 10 minutes 15 minutes. There is absolutely no logic for capacity restriction inside a government office I think government office has different kind of covid. Stupidity at everst height

Got there at 7:50am, doors opened at 8:30. There was a line up of about 30 ppl outside, whole process took about 2 hours to complete. I wanted to say thank you to Anil, he is super friendly, kind, patient and funny. He treated my mother with respect and made her fell super comfortable. Thank you Anil, great customer service!

I visited today, easy to enter, not much waiting, the people working here are friendly, dealt with the issue, easy directions. Didn’t took much time, was out in less than 15 minutes. Place is clean, well maintained. I saw staff was helping people out and were looking around if anyone needed help. Outgoing and friendly staff.

The person who answers it is nice enough. But they have very complicated systems set up to manage - yet they repeatedly do not respond at all or respond outside their promised contact window. This centralized system is just a means so responsible people are unreachable. They treat contract faculty with arrogance and distain.

Getting a single passport has taken me about a year. I paid lost fees for my lost passport months ago just to get a call later from staff saying I didn't pay and they have no record of it. So now I'm on my way to pay again and I'm preparing for the next problem the staff is going to tell me is wrong with my application...

Do not go to this office. They are rude and do not know what they are doing. The employee who called me told me Marista, the woman I saw, did not have to do what she did. Caused my delay. She was extremely slow and had a terrible attitude. I believe the other posts. They are racists here. They should hire better people.

It would have been very helpful if you have updated your hours. other locations have posted that they are closed but yours show that your open. furthermore your online service is total waste of time,. and your telephone service is disgusting. waited 4 times more than 2 hours each time to get disconnected at the end.

The black lady at kiosk 7 on 31st May 2022 was extremely rude, insulting and not knowledgeable. The same service she rudely declined after waiting several hours on the queue, was finally done by another polite and courtesy lady in kiosk 2 on my second visit, same day; she is not fit to represent any institution.

Waited nearly 6 hours to get in, they should seriously revisit the waiting area outside the centre and find a solution like railings to lean on or wee seats or something. Having said that, staff inside are pleasant to deal with and the whole process of applying for and getting a SIN number too about 20 minutes

I got my fresh SIN based on my work permit in less than an hour (reached the center at 8.00am and left the center at 8.55am). It wasn't that crowded though i was behind 15-20 people in the queue yet the process was superfast here as they got me out with my new SIN in 15 minutes after I entered in there.

I’m surprised at the low rating for this location. It was the most efficient, stress free visit I’ve ever had. I was renewing passports for my entire family and had Anil assisting me. He was fantastic ! Very kind and assisted through any issues I had ! Very pleasant experience ! Thank you Anil!

My experience here was smooth and easy. The reps are kind and try hard to help no matter what the situation. I really appreciated their generousity with their time and advice. Going over and beyond! I got there at 745am on a Friday, around 8 people before me, and was out by 9am.

Really bad service. I was standing on line and there was this Vietnamese lady that left the line in front of me and came back and cut the line. I complained to the staff and they didn’t even put her out. Instead she was given special seat inside! Really bad service!

Reached at this location just before noon, there was about 45-60 minutes of waiting line outside the centre. Once I was inside, there was an additional wait time of 15-20 mins. I spoke with 4 employees, 2 of them were helpful whereas the other two were rude.

Waste of time stood in line for 5 hours they did not let me in. It was only 3:55. Security guard with curly hair was very rude, never going back there. There is no proper system and nobody updates on waiting times looks like they want to waste people’s time.

Service here was really fast and professional. There was no wait which was surprising because I was told the lines usually snake around the block. But it's advisable to book an appointment online before coming. That way you avoid the lines if there are any.

Without any doubt, you may get the worst service in Canada from this Service Canada! Waited for 5 hours in the line in the sun, and they literally let around 10 people in and sent the rest home with a sunburn. Just a waste of time...

This place is a joke the government is a joke. I never knew we worked for the government. This location is terrible, they only care about clearing the line and not assisting anyone . Just make problems worse

I had a great experience today at this office. Anne and Anil were absolutely friendly and helpful. Wait was just under an hour, though I suspect if you go mid week it's less. Would recommend this office.

Insufficient staff. I don't know why there is only one person to attend all the customers. Even they don't how to handle all the visitors. If anybody wanna go there make sure u have at least 4 hours.

There is a long long line of people outdoor around 9am everytime I passed there. So I went to there before the closed time. Everything was smooth. I and my kids liked the lady who was at counter #7.

Worst experience this morning. The lady who appointed me was so rude and unproffesional. It feels like she is doing a big benefiecence to me. Just leave your job if you don't happy with it.

Horrible experience. They dont take walk-ins for biometrics (like College st location) and fully booked far ahead of time. Wouldn't recommend this location to take biometrics. Waste of time

The personnel at this passport office are very helpful. They are polite, professional, and very patient. While I was waiting I was able to observe how respectful they were to everyone.

Worst service ever. The receptionist talks so rudely instead of assisting after waiting more than hour in cold they say they can’t help. Just visit another branch somewhere else.

Inefficient. Not enough staff. Few staff are not efficient moving super slow. Passport renewals take twice the allotted time to process. Best to go to a passport office

The line is so long and they aren't updating people on wait times. No where to sit outside and even in the rain there is no cover. Make an appointment if you can.

Waited for 5 hours. Stayed in line at 8am and i came in at 1pm. The line is too long and some people are cutting the line. They also let people in one by one.
