I came here the first time to get my Ontario ID and health card, the lady that assisted me seemed to be angry and in a rush, so she told me to fill in the forms without explaining anything to me while she assisted other people at the same time. I didn't think anything of it since it was my first time coming to service Ontario, but then I saw that my name was misspelled and I never got my Ontario ID, so I had to come back! This second time the lady that assisted me was really nice, she totally made my day and helped me with everything I needed. I asked about the Ontario ID and it turns out that the other lady never even gave me the forms or anything to apply for it the first time. As this was my first time going through this process, this experience threw me off.

DON'T EVEN TRY GO THERE. I can't believe someone can say anything good about this location. I've never posted this kind of disguise, but I have to. The wait line was over 2,5 hours. The place itself is absolutely terrible - dirty and stinky, and I'm not sure if it's safe to breathe there - the fungus is all over the place and the HVAC system. The floors were never cleaned and even some papers and announcements were mounted with heavily used duct tape to 15 y. o. cardboards. They've got to keep the door open wide outside to let some air in (it was +8, ok), but still the smell was nearly unbearable. Check the pictures.

Overall, the line was long but really not too bad. People were polite and patient. Lady I got was a little rude at the start, though quite nice and helpful by the end. Aside the line, really easy in and out. ... ... ... though I do have to say that I needed to get my picture done. While that was done, the lady who was helping me gave a weird smerky, side-eye smile to the lady sitting beside her. Just made me feel so self-conscious and ugly. Again, in and out, but I felt like... stupid afterwords. Other than making the customer feel uncomfortable, overall okay.

Absolutely ridiculous.. went there to get plates and a 10 day permit for my car so I could take it to get it serviced .. was told I couldn't do that without it being certified.. I told them I already called the hotline and they said I could definitely do it. Came to another service Ontario and spoke with a lady here telling her what happened she said every service Ontario can do this ... I waited at the other one for an hour and a half and now I'm forced to wait another hour at this location because I was given false information!!!!!!! I'm absolutely disgusted

I went today, got there around 8:50, 10 people ahead of me in a line outside. The doors opened at 9 am, and I got my health card renewed by 9:25 am. The service line went quickly, and the agent (a blond hair and blue eyed lady) I got was very helpful and kind. She updated my status from PR to Canadian Citizen, which I didn't know I needed to do. I did see a number of people get turned away because they didn't bring appropriate documentation. Please ensure to review what items you need to bring before showing up.

I recently visited a service center and was extremely satisfied with the experience. The wait time was short, and the staff were friendly and helpful. They were knowledgeable and assisted me with my inquiry, making the process smooth and easy. In fact, I had to wait longer for the bus than I spent inside the service center. I experienced no issues during my visit and was very impressed with the overall service. I would highly recommend this center to others.

Not a good experience, the blonde young women seems to be in a rush at 2:30 pm on a friday, very rude & racist towards clients who are poc but fine with poc staff. On top of that while ontario health card specifies on website about bringing two pieces of id, she did not bother checking anything for minors, which can be proved if officials check cameras that are their & oh casually on her phone as she is deal with clients. If not nice, hire competent staff.

This was the worst experience I've ever had. After waiting for over 2 hours in line I finally got to the front only for one of the employees to come out and say that there's no guarantee of us getting in for another 2 hours and that we should have booked an appointment. Not a single person there knew this and there were ppl there longer than me. Totally unacceptable. Who ever is managing this location is doing a terrible job!

Went there at 3:35pm and got my turn around 4:10 pm.There were 25 people in queue.Brown girl was very helpful and courteous to Renew my health card and competed my process in 5 mins.She only asked my pr and new driving License and asked if I got my health card on work permit. Note:This is not full service Ontario so if you are on wp and looking for health card than you have to visit Shepard younge service Ontario

At 3pm the wait was only 25 minutes this specific Friday at this location...much longer line up on the way out at 3:35pm. Fast and efficient service despite only 3 wickets open for service to individuals. Plenty of parking spaces available outside in the parking lot. Would recommend this location they open till 5pm most weeknights, 2 hours more on Thursday till 7pm. Saturday is also an option for shorter hours.

One of the best Service Ontario around. Free parking, friendly and knowledgeable staff. They do not process OHIP for people on work permit- clearly written on their website. Check proper website and address before going. There is no point of screaming and shouting with agents when everything is clearly written on the website!

Great experiences, at Chesswood and Downsview for years. I think my experience are really because, I bring my patience,manners and mostly I come prepared with my documents and have done my research on the location and process. Have everything...double check. Awesome service and great staff everytime...both locations …

Wow! In the cold here today, -21 degrees, they have a virtual queuing system. Just scan QR code, name & number... wait in your car until your turn. They will text message you. Excellent idea and great way to keep us warm. Very thoughtful!! Service is amazing too!! Once you're in, you're out in a short time. Love it!

The line might seem to be long at first, but it moves so fast. No appointment available at this location. I think that's partly why it's so fast. It took me 15 minutes from the beginning of the door to the counter. And the lady at counter 6 was so professional, an additional 5 stars for her!

Very efficient service! I renewed both my drivers license and health card, and it couldn’t have been easier. Waited in line for no more than 10 minutes, and the renewal process itself took only a few minutes including a new photograph. I went late morning on a Tuesday.

They need more staff on site. It is a small location. The lineup was out the door. Waited 1.5 hours to do my twins Health Card Renewal and Photo Id's. The staff were great but they need more people at this site. Better to book an appointment ahead of time.

Lines are to be expected but surprisingly went by quickly. I was lucky enough to come in before a big rush. The lady at the counter was quick, friendly, and efficient. I came to renew my licence plate and get my car ownership that I have misplaced.

I go there to renew my OHIP card. It opens at 9AM and I arrive at 8:40. There are about 20 people line up there. The doors open exactly at 9AM and everyone can come inside (it’s pretty windy today though so thanks for letting everyone stand

Great service! Went in this morning to renew my licence, health card and sticker and I was in and out after only a 20 minute wait. The line moves quickly and every kiosk was open. Staff is friendly and they know what they're doing.

I needed to renew my driver's license. I went to the Sheppard Ave one at about noon. Line up about 10 people but all servers were at their stations. I got through in about 40 mins . Pleasant servers !! A good experience.!!!

Despite a very long line. It was ok. Had a little bumps but spoken to a wonderful Asian manager who was so helpful , respectful and kind. Look up the hours on Google and go in as early as possible to avoid long line up.

I was in and out quick. If you plan on going first thing in the morning, be there an hour before they open or else you'll be waiting in a very long line. Once you're inside, processing is organized and quick. Good luck!

So far I haven't had issues coming to this location. It's convenient and quite close to work. The staff so far every time I've come have been helpful, although some are helpful with a bit of an attitude :/

This has been my go to location for 10+ years. Can have long lines as with any Service Ontario location, but once you get to the front, staff has always been helpful and working as fast as they can.

Very helpful, staff was pleasant to deal with, they answered all my questions and got me through as quickly as possible. Didn't have any issues and the lineup moved way more quickly than expected !

When I entered the building, I though that my wait would be very lengthy, because of the many people in line. But I was out, with my health card renewed in less than 20 minutes! Great staff.

There was a long queue when I arrived, on a Saturday no less. However, the persons ahead of me were summarily dispatched with such speed and efficiency that I was out before I know it.

They opened on time, there was already line up outside. They processed us fast and efficiently early morning, staff were courteous and professional, this location is usually on point

I went at around 2pm on a Monday- the line up was out the door. Got through the line within 45 minutes. All 10 service windows were open. I was expecting to be there a lot longer.
