Location was excellent. That's sadly the only good thing about this. AC didn't work, internet was non functional two and a half out of three days, bathroom was cramped, had to sit with door open to have room for my legs (I am tall but still). Soap bar was used when I got there, had black hairs on it. Told the receptionist about the internet and AC but nothing happened. Walls are paper thin, could hear word for word what the neighbor said. Doors are the same, impossible to sleep when people started opening and closing doors from 0700 in the morning. Curtains had a white gooey substance on them, roof spotlight had a thick layer of dust. Roomservice came in the afternoon when we were back from shopping, that's not ideal either. How on earth people have been eating this 5 stars is a mystery to me. My son was placed in the basement under a busy shop, with laundry bags stacked up against the walls. And no, we did not get a specified receipt stating that we booked a basement room, because we did not book a basement room at all. Two single rooms, as pictured on booking dot com. Do not recommend at all.

We stayed here for 1 night, choosing the hotel as it was just down the road from the theatre. The location was, therefore, perfect. The only staff we saw greeted us on arrival and check out. They were polite and welcoming. The room was very clean and had enough space for us - 2 adults and 2 children. There were hot drinks/kettle and a small fridge. The ensuite bathroom was very small. The shower head could use replacing, but it worked well enough and there was lots of hot water. The room was quiet, other than when a fellow guest made a loud departure at 4.30am - which, obviously, the hotel cannot be blamed for. We never successfully gained access to the free WiFi, but that wasn't too annoying, as we were only in the room to drop in luggage and then to sleep after our theatre show. There are many good restaurants around for breakfast and dinner, so it was an ideal location. The price of the room was competitive for the location. I am unlikely to stay again, but only because the proximity to the theatre was the reason for the choice.

Stopped at Seven Dials Hotel for two nights with my daughter this week. A perfect base for us, extremely central, lovely very helpful staff who advised on the best routes and transport to different locations. Had two lovely very filling breakfasts, no need to eat again until much later in the day. Great price for the hotels location and we were even offered a choice of rooms on arrival due to a couple of rooms being spare. All the rooms looked great but we opted for the annexe flat around the corner from the hotel. All the rooms we looked in had tea/coffee making facilities, ceiling fans, tv, hairdryer en-suite bathroom. We also had a little kitchenette with oven, microwave, sink and fridge in the annexe flat. Will definitely go back, perfect, just right for us. Oh and we had maid service too who came in with fresh towels. Great place, would recommend.

The location is really awesome; the hotel is in the middle of London. The metro station is just a couple of minutes' walk away, making everything easily accessible. The staff is great, always smiling and ready to help with anything. The room gets cleaned every day, and fresh towels are provided. I shouldn't forget to mention that they have free coffee and tea in the room. On the last night, around midnight, the fire alarm made us all rush out of the hotel into the street, where we were freezing. The guy at the reception really made an effort to answer all our questions, and after the alarm was silenced, we went back into the hotel. All in all, it's a recommended place to stay.

The location is amazing. The staf is very friendly. Er only stayed one night, when it was 30 degrees outside. The airco was very good. There was even a small fridge in the room, what we loved. And everything was clean! The room was ok, the shower was good enough and clean even was the toilet. The bed was way too small for 2 persons. Only 120cm. I love my husband, he loves me and we like to be cozy but this was uhm awfull. The bed was only 180 cm long, which is not long too, my husband did not fit in. We are even not big or fat people. 163 and 187cm. We slept on the fourth floor and we didnt like the slamming of the doors early in the morning. We wake up a few times. Although everything was really good, the bed was to small to say we would stay here again.

Stayed at the hotel for the second time this year. The biggest advantage of the hotel is its location, in my opinion, on one of the most beautiful and clean streets, the presence of a metro station, many cafes and small shops and of course most of the attractions within walking distance. The room is equipped with the most necessary - utensils, electric kettle, hairdryer, refrigerator, microwave, TV, fumigator, slippers and other little things. A very quiet place, in the absence of noisy neighbors you are guaranteed a peaceful sleep. With light luggage, you can safely withstand the climb to the 4th floor, especially since the staircase to each floor consists of 3 marches.

Small but decent B&B style budget hotel, run by sweet and friendly people. We arrived very early in the morning but were checked in without any problems, so that we could leave our bags and go enjoy the city. The hotel's location is fantastic, with many cafes, restaurants and shopping options around and within easy walking distance of main attractions of central London. It is also easy to reach by underground. We were offered an upgrade to their studio apartment, located in a separate building, around the corner from the main hotel. The apartment was nice and comfortable. Also the breakfast exceeded our expectations as they serve a compact version of the English breakfast buffet. So overall this hotel seems an excellent value for money.

Great value! Good location, clean & comfy bed. Will stay here again! If you are looking for a 5 star hotel, then pay for it. This is a 2 star hotel in the middle of Soho & it was what I was hoping for: clean, close to everything, easy checkin/checkout. The room I was in was a single & quite small, but I was only there for sleeping. I was on the top floor, so didn’t have any issues with air circulation like the basement rooms might have. Honestly I was surprised it was as decent as it was for the price. If you want better for the same price, the youll have to forfeit location & find an affordable hotel with more amenities further out. Should this hotel cost less for what you get? Yes, Probably, but it’s central London, and everything is overpriced.

One of the worst stays of my life. Amazing location but the exorbitant price is not justified, there are slightly more expensive places in equally good locations but with much better facilities. We had a basement room and it was like being in a very small bomb shelter claustrophobic tiny room with no windows, no aircon and the ceiling fan was too noisy to keep on at night while also appearing ready to fall from the ceiling at any moment. The walls are paper thin so it also feels like you are sharing the room with the rest of the basement as you can perfectly hear all conversations coming from the rooms next to yours. I would never recommend this place.

I have given it 3 stars, however please see this in context. This is a more budget orientated hotel, if you want a clean room, clean washing facilities and a reasonable bed, you get exactly that (and of course some tea/coffee making paraphernalia). However this is offset with the price and location. So the question is more if I would go there back? Yes absolutely, we stayed in many different hotels from Waldorf to Premiere Inn, for us we just need a good clean bed and room, the rest of the time we spend in town, so this fits perfectly.

Good location & the receptionist was friendly. The room is really small & the walls r really thin. The fridge was not working, the TV had no signal and the plugs were broken. Asked the receptionist if they were able to fix it and they said they'll ask their co-workers to do it later but it never got fixed. No air-conditioning and the heater was placed right next to the bed. Also the window was broken and couldn't close so I could hear the sound from the streets nearby.

The only word that comes to mind is 'rathole'. The location is great. A walk away from some important and central locations. But nothing else about this place was good. When we checked in to our room, we found a cigarette butt rolling on the floor. Come on guys! At lease clean the room with honesty, considering the price you're charging. We were disappointed.

This is definitely a no-thrills hotel that offers a great location and a good price; the hotel is within walking distance to a lot of London locations; the hotel doesn't offer much more than a room with spotty wifi; three of us were in a room and only one of us had regular wifi; the room and bathroom were small as you would expect in a London hotel.

I love London, and since I discovered this hotel, never changed. My last 3 visits I stayed in it. The location is the best, friendly/helpful staff, cheap price, clean room, there is a little refrigerator (empty) where you can have milk, food,...so you can save money in breakfast,.... and they have now elevator..!!. My next time in London, same hotel.

It is not exactly a hotel. Reception is available 24/7 though. No air conditioning, no lift. Staircase is narrow. Rooms small. No bath. Only shower. Hot in the summer. There is the regular breakfast. Personnel helpful when needed. Location is very good, surrounded by shops. It's the heart of London. But this is the only advantage. Too expensive for what it offers. Suitable only as a place to sleep. Better without children.

  • Diarmuid Barry

Very satisfied with this hotel. It is in a central location and very close to the tube station, bus stops, bars, restaurants etc. Lots of people staying here were going to nearby West End shows. The room had everything you need, desk, lamp, kettle, en suite. Breakfast was surprisingly good. Cooked food, cereal, juice etc. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again for future trips to London.

If you're looking for a cheap place to sleep without having any expectations, this might be the hotel for you. The location is pretty nice, but other than that, nothing really. The rooms seem worn-down and dirty, there is no air conditioning, and the equipment is pretty basic.

Excellent location and very clean and basic room. If you want a base to explore London then this is perfect. You won’t get better value for money for the room and location. Staff are at hand 24hrs which I also found very helpful and safe being a solo female traveller. It’s very quiet which I was surprised by. I will come back again for sure.

  • Floris Huider

Great location, rooms are basic but have all the necessities. Walls are quite thin but we had no trouble sleeping, perhaps we lucked out with our neighbours. Kind personnel. Overall good experience and price for a hotel in London.

Great value, great location. This small hotel is perfectly located for lots of the theatres in London, just 5 mins from Covent Garden and Leicester Square tube stations. Really quiet, looked like it's recently been refurbished. Lots of cafés outside, 5 mins from a Tesco express. Happy to recommend and I'd stay there again.

This establishment is not serious. I made the reservation weeks before, and now with 5 days to travel, they tell me I have accommodation only for 2 nights, and the rest of the nights find on my own. They have spoiled my family journey. They are not good professionals. Don't book with them

The location is five stars and the room I stayed at in the basement although small had everything I needed and everything worked perfectly. The staff was nice and uncomplicated. The walls are very thin so I wore earplugs and was fine. I will definitely stay here again!

Stayed there for two days (one night) and it was perfect. Friendly staff, very good price, very clean rooms and it's in a good spot in London as it was a 10-15 minute walk away from where I had to go for my business trip. A very nice place to stay. More
