At the time of rain one can breathe fresh air because of the plants and trees planted near by the railway tracks and platforms. Small station with many train to and from via rohatak punjab Worst thing I noticed there is no any public toilet on any platform. Nearest metro station is Punjabi Bagh on five minutes walking distance. Many construction works are going on in Station area since many years..

The area around the station is not good , beaware of the thief , one incidence I like to share with u that I,m travelling Punjab to new Delhi , the people started putting their lagage at the gate of train so when train arrive at new Delhi then they easily step down the train . When train passing through this station a person running with the train pretending that he is catching train but he try to snize the bag and ran away but lagage is to heavy so that he failed , so beware

Why is the only 2 windows open... One of the ladies and senior citizen.. And the second is gent's.. Shakurbasti rail reservation center have many reservation windows but they only open two window.. Look at the crowd... So many people going Daly for booking rail ticket.. And wait 3 to 4 hours then book a ticket.. And the staff is not good.. Please open more windows for ticket booking..

Unauthorised E rickshaws and auto driver are standing on down to stairs due to this problem we can't reached at time bcz the drivers don't move their vehicle without passengers and the distance is too much long and on the station there is no toilet and fopover bridge is only one way and the sound of the announcement regarding train information is not clear and lack of signs direction

स्टेशन काफी बड़ा है विशाल है यहां पर पैसेंजर को बैठने की सुविधा नहीं है ठंडा पानी भी नहीं है प्रत्यक्षा से बिल्कुल बाहर बना हुआ है स्टेशन पर प्लेटफार्म पर यात्रियों के बैठने की सुविधा अच्छी नहीं है पंखे भी खराब है ध्यान देने की जरूरत है यहां से गाड़ी रोहतक के लिए पुरानी दिल्ली के लिए और कुछ समय बाद मिल जाती विशाल स्टेशन में रेलवे को इस पर ध्यान देने की जरूरत है

An outlet for tea and snacks is available at Platform 2. A small tea outlet is also at platform 1. Tea stalls are operational 24/7.

It is one of the main stations of Delhi but its location it not so good if you want to go to Shakur Basti railway station you must have to hier auto or rapido so its location it's not so good there is not any bus which ply there Station is not so cleaned train live almost every station behaviour of the workers is good but need to be cleaned

Rickshaw and auto available.take 20rs to nearest metro station shivaji park You hav to cross railway lines to come out from platform 1 or use a foot overbridge. It's mainly used as local train stoppage and if you want to go to shed area , nearest liNk is madipur metro green line or ranibag bus stop. Both are right n left of shed. But be aware of coming from madipur metro station to shed during night times as there's risk of you confronting hooligans as it is in totally deserted area.

This station is going to be Junction for Punjab Haryana side trains. Construction for shed , platforms is going on. One day thi station will also become as big station like new delhi station and nizzamudin. Currently it is having 3 platforms with good train service. Almost all trains are stopping here.

Lack of public convinces. Poor infra as there no covered area for passengers to wait also not much of the seating arrangement is there. Foot overbridge is too narrow there is chance of slipping on stairs. Not safe post sunset as there is illegal slum around and there are reports of people being looted

Under Construction. To get trains towards Rohtak, Jind, Bhiwani, Sirsa, Firojpur this station is best to start travelling. Reach here by a narrow pedestrian way from Shivaji park metro station. But beware of thieves of slum area. Keep your phone in pocket and always keep an eye on your luggage.

It's the dirtiest part of Delhi according to me. The only reason for visiting this place was to catch my metro. It is too rubbish. Even there is no safety precautions for the passengers at the station. I will never visit this place again. Even the services are not quick like other places.

Shakur Basti railway station is one of the dirty railway stations in Delhi. I have visited so many times and the station is not clean everytime. Also there is no proper sitting area. You can get trains for Punjab and Haryana from here. It is not safe for girl after 6 PM.

India me railway stations sabhi ek jaise milenge pr apko yahan pe apne mobile phone ko sambhal ke use krna chiye. Actually my brand new mobile phone snatched at this station by some local guys from basti. Please don't use mobile phone near windows. Jan Hit me jaari.

Worst station ever visited. No maintenance, poor cleanliness. I could not locate way to platform from main entrance of station, upon enquiry 1 of staffs told me to cross tracks to reach platform. I was dumbstruck, are we talking about station in Delhi in 2019..?

If you are claustrophobic and do not wish to be tossed around in crowded railway stations check if your trains passes by this station. You can use this station. Don't expect a lot of amenities here as this is just a 2 minute halt station for most express trains.

Nearby metro station is shakurpur metro station on pink line, but remember it opens after 8am on Sundays, so you'll need to go to netaji Subhash place metro station which is on red line. Nearby metro station on green line is Shivani park metro.

Poor station with broken platform. Century old building. But has connectivity and can get off here if you have train at night and are going to travel to Gurgaon/Noida with no metro available at night. Has lot of autos 24hrs.

Remote railway station near delhi with no indicators for railway boogie. Please install one. Also the place feels haunted at night. Have heard incident of robbery as well when people found Alone at the station late at night

Always a good station to board a train, if you're a delhi- Rohtak line traveller. This place is never so rushy and easy to buy tickets. You can easily catch your train, as importantly it has three platforms only

You can probably board all the local trains from here, however express and other long route trains do not have a halt here, Station is clean these days, and transportation available easily from outside.

Place is full of dust and garbage but it's a short cut from rohini & mangol puri to punjabi bagh and many other areas. It has lot of traffic between 8am to 11am and then 5pm to 9pm.

Station is developing but still services can be better. Seating arrangements can be improved, roof needs to cover all station more platform can be created with space available
