I came to the branch at 15:55. Pumped petrol, paid for it and an ice-cream. Went home marrily after taking the receipt from the guy behind the counter. 1hr later, two policemen came to my apartment door. They asked me to come out, asked for my driver's licence, whether I have a car, its licence plate, whether I've been driving today (of course I have, etc...) when they asked for my phone number I told them they need to slow down and tell me what the heck is going on. The policeman explained that they got a report that I refilled and did not pay at Shell South Melbourne. WHAT IN THE HELL, SHELL, are you guys high? I went to your store which is closest to my home, went inside to check in person with you to see you accept apple pay BEFORE pumping. I pumped, went inside and paid AFTER. I paid SUCCESSFULLY, your guy asked if I wanted a receipt, I TOOK THE RECEIPT, and left. And you sent the police to my home saying I did not pay? They need to do some serious soul searching, and some staff training. I'm attaching the receipt here for everyone to see. Without this, I would have little to fight against the claim that I fled the gas station after pumping without paying... Next time you go here, make sure you take the receipt. Or better yet, take your business elsewhere, unless you want police randomly showing up at your door for some nonsense like this. I did everything right, and yet they sent police to my car? I don't want my tax money being spent like this either.

Shell Australia is currently having a promotion with 5 cent discount every litre. This discount once activated, it's only valid for 10 mins. I filled up, went in, showed the girl the app, activated the discount, and THEN was told that they don't accept this from Shell Australia, because they are independent. Yes, it's your fault for not display any note at the counter, stating that any promotion from Shell and any associated campaign by Shell (i.e. flybuy) aren't accepted at your store. This station owner is obviously aware of this issue, but still decided not to make a clear statement / display any notice at the store- an opportunist I would say, and that is dodgy by my standard

The owner is very cheep person as he mentioned. Petrol cost was 76$ and my credit card has been regicted because of insufficient money. I have payed 40$ cash and the rest was 36$. He asked me to keep my mobile phone with him till I pay the rest of the amount which was 36$. I gave him my hand watch and he kept it. I hope one day people can trust each other. It is not about money it is about how we are destroying our society and humanity in the most world liveable city in the world which we are proud of it.

Got petrol here last Friday, the pump had a fault in it, I ended up with petrol all over me, when I went in and told the attendant he told me I was doing it incorrectly I told him I know how to pump fuel and to come have a look, when he got outside all he did was put an out of order on the pump told me use the other pump, the only thing he did do was put water on my car which was also covered in fuel, not once did he ask was I ok.

Truly horrendous customer service. Was loudly called an “idiot” by the service assistant during an incredibly busy period for being unaware that this particular Shell would not accept Shell Cards (no signage indicating this at all). They simply wouldn’t accept my own Shell Card, which I have specifically to pay for petrol at Shell service stations. It was an embarrassing experience and very uncomfortable to all in the building.

Not a Coles Shell. Will take 4 cent voucher but won't give you FlyBuys. It is a privately owned one. Not all Shell's can get a Coles Express licence I'm guessing. I feel bad for the guy having to explain this to visitors, but it is what it is, and that is unfortunately my first and last time there, purely because of the Flybuys. Still good fuel, I'd only use Shell 98 so, at least there's that.

Worst customer service, refused to sell my cousin who is 18 year old turning 19 this year cigarettes but let her fill up petrol and proceeded to tell her that they don't sell cigarettes to 18 year olds and pointed to a sign that says UNDER 18S? I ended up going back in and I have my learners and is turning 20 and allowed me to perchase them. Absolutely ridiculous

I live across the road and only go there when I'm really really desperate. Bread's usually hard and stale. Sandwiches were made the day before, at $6.70, please check date's people. I made a quick escape down to 7/11, much nicer service and fresher food. If I could rate then zero, I would.

it’s said toilet facilities on the Shell website and Google. I have tried a couple of times this year, the attendant said the toilet can not be used or no toilet at all. Shell should change it on the website or let us know what's wrong with it. Shame on the owner.

Terrible customer service, very rude. Tried to overcharge me then told me I was wrong. Just give off shady vibes. Definitely won’t return. Trying not to honour shell discounts while you wear a shell vest, like cmon mate. Put a sign up then. Dodgy people here.

Becareful of this petral station. I filled up petrol last Monday. Receipt price was $63.34, but I was charged $63.64 on my credit card while I didn't purchase any other things. That's 30 cents more!

Scammers. Paid $10 for auto gas that left no trace in my vehicle. Only $10 or could have been scammed out of more. Empty thin air at their autogas pump. Beware.
