I had a really nasty experience at Coles gas station this morning. I stopped at the gas station to get my breakfast and a staff named Rajneet was sorting out the food. The food I was buying was still in tray, so I asked if I could take it from here, and she said, “I WON’T LIFT THE TRAY TO TAKE OUT THE FOOD TO GET INJURED, SO TAKE IT FROM THE FRIDGE” I understood what she was saying and was thinking about what to buy and she started repeating the same thing over and over again. (“I WON’T LIFT THE TRAY TO TAKE OUT THE FOOD TO GET INJURED, SO TAKE IT FROM THE FRIDGE”) I started to feel bad and told her to stop because I understood enough, and while I was paying for the food, she started gossiping about me to other customers about things I hadn’t done. And she sarcastically told me to have a good one to the end. I don’t understand how she can treat customers like this while working in the hospitality industry. This happened around 7:50AM in the morning on 16/12/2022. Please check out the video if you have one. I always come here to get fuel or breakfast on my way to work. But it was such a bad experience that I never want to come back and even I don’t want to use Coles anymore.

This is your standard service station. Fuel prices are not the best in the area but it is open when some of the others are closed.

The lady named Manjula has basically no customer service skills. The only word from her mount is: “fuel“? No greeting at all.
