I went into she'll garage last night after my partner met me after work, my partner stands out alot as he has lots of tattoos he 8s also autistic. He waited outside with the dog and I went into the shop. The older man in the shop stared at my partner through the window, obviously judging him on his appearance, and instantly assumed we had come to steal something. I also have alot of piercings and he was treating me the same, I was trying to take my time looking at the items and he was watching me constantly and following me, making it extreamly obvious he'd decided I was some kind of criminal. I purposely un zipped my coat to show my tunic as I'am a full time carer, he instantly stopped. If the shell garage would like to check cctv around 10 last night it will prove what I'm saying, don't judge a book by its cover, I had just finished my fourth 14 hour shift in a care home, disgusting judging people on their appearance.

Absolutely shocking, the manager is so rude, I have never been shocked EVER by the experience I got in this shell station, they charged me extra for some confectionery and so I went back in straight away and the colleague understood and was happy to refund me the difference however the manager insisted that I was wrong and he wanted to give me my money back and snatched the chocolates out of my hand but I said like I just want a refund on the difference, he was rude and said don’t ‘waste my time I have work to do’. I’m a manager myself and I said to him let me explain the issue as I just wanted to sort the issue out, he blatantly ignored me and went off, I hope someone from shell see’s this and check the CCTV. This guy is poor for the business and I’m totally put off now. I want this raised, it ruined my whole night! I am never visiting a shell again until I hear some sort of resolution

Not 24hrs. It is 11pm and knowone here, I have tried ringing but no answer. Re below response from Shell- I have tried to email you but keeps bouncing back to me. Not sure what more detail you need - review was posted whilst at the garage which was closed at 11pm. I knocked on the door and night window several times and phoned the garage aswell. Phone was heard ringing for several minutes but knowone there. I waited at the garage for over 10mins and there were no staff to be seen or heard.

Poor customer service!! I have been a regular shell customer but not anymore. Thanks to the poor customer service experience this morning. Went to refill fuel and there was refurbishment going on in the store. So the payment counter was accepting payments from outside. The staff was being very rude as she had to repeat herself. I was unable to hear from outside as her mic was not working. It was very upsetting and disappointing experience.

My 20 year old daughter went to this garage tonight at 11.15pm. Her visa card was declined as there was a national problem with the bank. She contacted us and we offered to pay by phone but the cashier refused.; Told her she would have to leave her car and walk home. We live one hour drive away!! Luckily another customer offered to pay her bill. Cannot believe he would put a young girl in this situation!!

Went to fill up with my range on 0 miles. Pump kept clicking so I only put in the minimum 5 liters. After which my needle didn't move at all and range was still on zero. 5 liters should be easily 50 miles for me. Pretty certain nothing came out the pump. This is the second time at the station where the pump felt weird. The other time was around 4 months ago. I will not be going back.

I think it's a tad more expensive than some other Shell garages, but the staff are always polite and friendly and they have a good selection of chocolate (including the delicious, sensual, white chocolate twicco), and a quite frankly, a baffling amount of protein bars. My car also thanks me for filling it's tummy with nice yummy super unleaded.

Pls be careful when purchasing food, as some items are past the sell by date. This has happened before, let it go as we are all humans and can make mistakes. I think this is the third time and it seems management are aware of items on shelves past the expiry date. Will not stop there again.

Went out my way to come here as they said they were accepting parcels for me to turn up and told they aren’t anymore due to covid yet there are no restrictions anymore and businesses are open as usual. Think it’s ridiculous or at-least don’t advertise you are accepting parcels!

A big thank you to the guys at Shell Kirkstall. I broke down at the traffic lights near there station and didn't have my mobile phone, the guys were very kind to me and let me use their phone to call the breakdown services. My heroes.

Very rude service at pump , Mohd Shakeel was not trained well so he just blamed the customer for his mistake, great. Do be careful if you come across him as you will not get the shell points

Racially profiled by staff because of my appearance and wasn't allowed in to purchase a drink that I needed so that I told take me medication. Very disappointing in this day and age!!!!!!!!

Not actually 24 hours, closes at 12 and the guy was very aggressive about letting us know. Wouldn't even talk to us and tell us where the nearest open one was. Go to the BP up the road

A standard Shell garage. Situated on a very busy, multi directional, light controlled junction, making access a bit complicated at certain times of day, due to traffic volume.

It's a joke not a petrol station. Everyone charge 0.50p for putting air in tyre these guys charge a £1. Service is terrible.
