I live in the countryside between Leeds and York. I usually go to York for fuel for my car but all petrol stations there or in my local area did not have any diesel. I drove to Seacroft but the supermarket garage staff there were just putting up a sign stating "Sorry No Diesel" as I arrived. I decided to drive a little further into Leeds along York Road and came across this Shell Garage with a queue of cars on the road outside. I joined the queue but when I got onto the actual forecourt waiting I stood outside my car. They had a member of staff guiding drivers to various pumps depending on what type of fuel needed (some pumps were closed off) - the gentleman was very polite and told me exactly which pump I needed to get to. Unfortunately a van moved there before me but the staff member told them I should have been there and made sure I was able to get to the pump as soon as the van left. The staff were so helpful, courteous and polite to a "senior driver" under very stressful circumstances during this fuel crisis. Thank you so much.

Wait till you get to Asda it's much cheaper. And you do realise petrol is all the same don't you, I mean you can run combustion engines on almost any combustible liquid or gas. From chip shop oil to actual gas, remember all those cars in the second world war with balloons on the top full of gas? No off course you don't so go look at some ol' photos or film on YouTube. Brazil actually make alcohol from there suger cane to run cars on So it your happy to pay extra for exactly the same thing you can get cheeper just down the road then this is the perfect place for you

Had friends visiting from abroad and they called in for fuel. The operator, Akshay immediately stopped what he was doing and started watching them (must have spotted the foreign plates), when they entered to ask a question he demanded they pay for the fuel up front, when they wanted to go back to the car to get money he then demanded that they leave their phone with them as collateral until they had paid upfront and filled up. Absolutely disgraceful behavior, clearly taking advantage of foreign visitors, what a poor example this person has set.

Tried fuelling my car up after work on way home and to my surprise it was closed for tanker to re-filling why would a petrol station fill there tanks at rush hour absolute jokers and this isn't the first time this has happened also vpower is 10p more per litre then other shell stations avoid at all costs

Fraudsters The bill board advertised diesel at £1.86.6 (about the same price as everywhere in this area), but the pump was charging at £1.99.9 Yea, it's only 14p per litre, but when you're 50 litres in, it makes a difference! Especially with the over inflated price of fuel these days!

Dodgy fuel!!!!!!! Car broke down promptly after filling up at this station 06/08/2018. Mechanic could find no fault with the car. Cost £145 to drain and refuel which rectified the problem. Tried to reclaim from Shell but nothing after 2 weeks. Won't be using Shell stations in future.

Terrible, I was not allowed to use the rest room facility due to being white British.... how is that any sort of service to provide to a paying customer that has sever health conditions .. I will be making a formal complaint to head office regarding this Matter

What you see is what you get, that is petrol or diesel. At top prices. Could also pick up a few groceries or snacks as you get into the shop. Fairly tidy and clean and typical of any Shell forecourt around the country.

Called 4 times for a gas bottle none of staff have a key,.took my number?? Told manager has a key and was promised a call back ??? Never got a call Why stock them if they cant sell them Poor service and no help

6 times in 2 week I’ve tried using the car wash. 6 times I’ve been told it’s not working by the same bloke. What a complete joke. What’s the point in putting offers on on the forecourt if it never works

Won't accept shell fuel reward came 1st time scanner not working then second same then 3rd again this time asked to scan again and turned scanner off said you can't scan twice .

What a joke, wouldn't let me fill up a special fuel container for my drag car, joke for a fuel station that sells v power for high performance car

No customer service, bought himself a coffee at my expense and sells milk that is not stored properly resulting in my baby getting poorly

The guy that works there is a complete tool because he doesn't want to help you or anything and has a terrible attitude

I go to this one I live near it is on the york road it as a car wash and other amenities

My partner popped in here to get a Costa coffee and a bottle of Pepsi Max cherry

Nothing bad to say about this place. Serves fuel and snacks. Same as all.
