Very poor service, customers toilets closed ! Staff explained that its policy to closed the toilets at night / morning .. didn’t give a reason. My family and I ( two boys aged 4 & 12 ) was waiting for breakdown recovery nearby at 03:00hrs after returning from our holiday. Phoned the Manager, later that day. To be told the cleaning hours for the toilets are 0300 - 0400… complete rubbish.. one member of staff to serve and clean toilets. Been reading other reviews regarding this Shell garage… and doesn’t surprise me! Shame on you
Wouldn't let me inside to find something to eat at 04:55 when the doors opened at 5am I tried to get a meal deal and was promptly told I could only have the deal as it was pictured. So the ONE flavour of sandwich, 2 flavours of crisps and 3 flavours of drink of which only Pepsi was in stock... Visit Shell Garages all around the country and buy a lot of meal deals (Taxi Driver) but this was a first, absolutely ridiculous. If I could give them Zero stars, I would.
Have just filled up at this petrol station. When I hire cars for meetings. This station is recommended to fill up because it’s closest to the rental car village. Do not fill up here!!.for the 4th time the staff have tried to under change me by a pound. Check your change, the petrol is expensive there is a Sainsbury’s station 5 minutes away and cheaper. I will also be advising the car rental company to not recommend it. I will also be putting it on the review.
The best shell in all of Manchester. I chose to refill my shell regularly since I had some problems with the car. The quality is very good. Sometimes you can find it at a much lower price than anywhere else, usually on weekends it is the same price as at other stations. Now I can say that the car "pulls" better and the consumption is better than the other competitors. The staff is also very kind!
Guy behind the counter not scanning items instead using a calculator and making the prices up. Tried charging me 9 pound for a sandwich and drink which should have been 3.50. Put 3.50 on the counter l and walked out. Also, he has a little pillow case type bag full of change by his feet. After the previous customer left I heard him dropping money Into it. Dodgy if u ask me.....
Just get fuel . For everything else, you will have to pay more than 20% of the product's normal price. Just bought a 30g Cutter's Choice Tobacco which no more than £18.00 any where else & paid £22.99... A proper rip off. A WD40 is around £4.99 at any place but over £12.00 here. Just get the fuel if you have to.
Cost cutter… more like masked robbers!!! Went to buy a coffee at 06.30 this morning from the Costa machine. The machine did not dispense any coffee just water and milk! They refused to give me another coffee or provide a refund !! Times must be hard!!! AVOID THESE AT ALL COSTS
I cleverly put petrol in my diesel car. The cashier was really helpful with his advice and even helped me push my car over to the side so I didn't have to start the engine. While I was waiting for help to arrive there was Costa Coffee and a customer toilet.
I go twice a week there £160 petrol every week I got for my car Been there more than 30 times now All the time they have out of order sign on the toilet? I mean it's joke ? Seems like they put this sign permanently for purpose?
Really happy guy serving you. The fuel prices here are pretty reasonable so it's a good place to fill up if you're returning a hire car and need fuel. Plus it is a stone's throw away from the airport so it's easy to get to.
A nightmare to fill up could seriously do with a 1 Wat system around the pumps as there's a lot of issues with cars waiting for others to fill up and pull out depending on wich side of the road you pull in from
Hopeless as a DHL pickup point. The parcel was incorrectly scanned by someone so I couldn't get a pickup code. Took 3 visits and 2 phone calls to DHL to get my parcel.
Only enter this shop if you r loaded or thick it's cheaper at the airport only place I've ever come across that sells £1 bags of haribo for £2.49
Fully reopen now after big refurb. There a car wash and launderette now. Good prices of fuel. Can be busy as it is close to Manchester Airport.
It’s small. Has a few bits n bobs. 24hr service so it’s convenient if you’ve just got back from vacation and picked the car up from JetParks3.
Brand new station yet no electric charging facilities? Come on Shell this is the perfect spot + room for it - instead of pointless laundrette…
It was closed today (16 December 2021) looks like some kind of refurbishment/reconstruction. Will be out of action for the foreseeable future.
Convenient location to refill the rental car just before return. If you still have old notes bear in mind that they are not accepted anymore.
Advertise one price, charge you another. Absolute rip off sharks and miserable. Go elsewhere and at Least get a smile as you get skanked
Visited this morning about 9am. Its been refurbished and is nice. I was taken aback by how rude the young man behind the counter was.
Puts the prices up presumably because it's near the airport. 1.50/l for diesal when the average national cost was about 1.25/l.
Diesel price very high 173.9p compared with other Shell garages around Manchester and Stockport average at 162.9p - 163.9pm.
Fuel is good but staff totally not comparative Toilet always close Had fuel for 125 pound he refuse to scan my shell card
Bloke on the til tried to short change me by £10, clearly wasn’t a mistake by the way he reacted when I challenged him.
It's a shell garage. Same as all the others. Just don't buy a snack unless you like paying cinema prices .
It was easy to go, acceptable prices and the cashier was really nice and allowed me to use the toilet.
Do not wash your car there they are scammers, if you put £10 coins it last for 2 minutes, SCAMMERS
Come on shell update your Web site styal road services is closed for the forsee able future.
Only went to fill up with fuel and a chocolate bar and not a weekly shopping experience
Very friendly staff. Tiny shop but always clean. No fuel today but I only wanted milk.
Convenient to where I live with friendly service and competitive pricing. Open 24/7
Says open 24 hours but was closed when went there for supplies after a late flight
Beware. No premium petrol available here despite it being listed as available.
24hrs and friendly service. Shop charges convince prices but not extortionate.
I went there, the guy who served me really rude and disrespectful.
A very efficient and friendly Garage Free plane spotting too
Cheapest petrol advertised is not on sale. That's a fraud
Very nice people who work here and have the best fuel
the toilet is not working. how is it possible......
Good site. Petrol aint cheap and its a bit dated
24 hour service and fuel is cheapest I've seen.
Needed gas, they sell it. What is more to say.
Always running out of v-power petrol …
Worst Costa coffee ever from this garage!
Always a little overpriced sadly
Glad to see it's open again
