Terrible service I experienced this morning at this store. I don’t know her name, but she appears to be in her mid 50s medium length dark hair and wears glasses. I was first in line, got told to enter and sanitised my hands which I followed. Soon as I entered she asked if I needed a fitting, yes I replied. Then she told me to put my little girl up the fitting stairs which I did. Before my girl even sat down, she asked me which shoes did I want. Well the enter process was not even 15 seconds and she expected me to have chosen what she wanted. My girl told me before we came she wanted sth “sparkly”, the only “sparkly” pair of shoes My girl could see from the second I walked in, sanitised my hands and walked to the fitting stairs was just the ones hung at the front of the shops. When she asked I said perhaps those pink ones hung there, here she goes “so you just want those cheap ones? You only have 15 mins in this shop so you need to tell me which shoes you want”. And walked off to serve the lady who was behind me in line. I said to her I wasnt even given time to look and thought she was going to measure my daughter’s feet first. I was left unattended until her colleague finished with the other customer and apologised to me for her behaviour. I was then served by Elise who measured my daughter’s feet and let me walk around the shops to see. While I came back with the ones I saw initially as my daughter did not like the other pair I chose, she reappeared and yelled at me saying I was offended because those were cheap shoes cos they were only $30 and they were cheap! I then told her it doesn’t matter if I buy cheap or expensive shoes I’m her customer and should not be treated like this. The fact that she stressed about how “cheap” these shoes were showing how she would only want to serve people who spend I don’t know how much in the store. 1. How does a little girl know how much these shoes were? 2. To yell at me that I only want to buy “cheap” shoes, walked off leaving me unattended then coming back to yell back at me while she’s with another customers (in front of 2 kids) just simply shows the level of customer service she provides 3. Do not blame covid 19 as she did not spend more than 1 min even listening to me. 4. Pure racism as her attitude towards the other customers were entirely different, the tone, the way she spoke were not the same. 5. How is it my “problem” when she was the one being offensive and judgemental? How is it my “problem” when she was the one yelling? How is it my “problem” when these words come out from her mouth? 6. If she had issues with controlling her temper she should consider NOT working in retail! I did end up getting the pair as they fitted my girl and she wanted them also I was happy with Elise’s service. I’ve always shopped at the same company in Doncaster Westfield as it’s my local store, never one time I’ve been treated like this. Horrible horrible service by this mid 50s looking dark hair woman who wears glasses (I wish I get her name so everyone knows to avoid her)

Shoes are always good quality and we have always been buying from Shoes & Sox. But the customer service today is quite disappointing. We didn’t even wanted a fitting. We just wanted to grab a pair of gum boots pay and leave. It was easy money for you. But we couldn’t pay. No one even acknowledged that we were standing at the cashier waiting to pay. The staffs know that we were there, didn’t even look at us and at least say hello. There’s no basic customer service. I know you’re flat out today, but the least you could do is let us know that you’re busy and at least acknowledge us so we can ask you if we can pay. Because we don’t know how to make payment we couldn’t make our purchase. We just waited at the cashier counter for 20 mins. So we had to go buy from cotton on kids. Whose staff actually walked by while I was picking out a pair of gum boots and say “hello, how are you?” I didn’t even troubled them or anything. I just picked one out and then paid. It was that simple at cotton on kids.

Exceptional service. Today, my 2YO and I registered online to be in the queue (to be assisted). It was quick and easy, with a pleasant young lady at the door to help. We could walk in to browse the shoes and then it took about 10 minutes before we were attended to. I was upfront that it looked like they might not have what I was after. Without being pushy, the lady who attended to us explained why they don't have what I was after (sandals with arch support). She inquired politely, gave her (what I took as informed) opinion, and still fitted my son even though she had an inkling they didn't have stock of what she'd recommend - so I could try to find the same brand/type online. She was also thoroughly pleasant to my 2YO. It was just overall such a wonderful experience. It is a shame that there was no stock of any sandals in my son's size. But I'd definitely return for the next pair, just based on this experience alone.

After looking for shoes in Myer, they advised me to go into shoes and Sox. I had been to Myer twice with my double pram, always having to use the lift & had my unsettled twins with me. The lady at Myer was a bit inexperienced so didn’t really explain the sizing well. Miriam at shoes and Sox was so helpful and lovely, she advised they had one size left at Myer- she could see I was a bit deflated knowing I had to go back to Myer again. So, she ran up to Myer for me to get the shoes so I didn’t have to. I was exhausted by the end of my shopping trip and just having someone so nice willing to go the extra mile really made my day. She was so friendly and I was so happy to be giving my money to a company that employ such wonderful staff. Thank you Miriam

We went to buy shoes for our kids. Today working staff had really unprofessional customer service. They didn't care about us and they didn't want to do sales. We were waiting so long,but they didn't care. Feel so sorry about the shop owner;this type of workers ruin the business. My suggestion to the store manager would be to employ people with proper customer service to build up the business ,especially in a kids shoe shop. I don't recommend anyone to go to this place. We went to the "Trybe shoe shop" which is next to this. Their customer service was outstanding, we spent $359. You guys lost this business. Sorry for the business owner.

The booking system is so great, if it’s super busy you can even wonder away and you’ll get a text when you’re next so you can head back to store. The staff are knowledgeable and patient. They listened to what I needed for my children. They were fun and able to measure the kids feet properly. My child liked to run out of the store with her new shoes on to show dad waiting at a cafe and the staff didn’t panic. They had everything we needed in stock, but when they don’t, they ship for free to your home! Such a good store with great staff! We pop in twice a year for our runners and sandals or boots depending on season.

A week before school starts, i knew it would be busy... And yes it was! But the system they have setup for this busier period worked very well. The store was full of staff helping each and everyone, from booked customers to walk ins. The staff there are always friendly and nice, willing to give their advice and help you get those little munchkins into new shoes. They work quickly and efficiently and they always make sure your happy with the service they have provided. I have never had a bad experience at Shoes and Sox Eastland.

Our experience with Shoes & Socks has been wonderful. They were there to help us with our first child’s first pair of shoes, and yesterday they fitted our third & last child for the last time as he too has grown up and out of store sizing. The excellent service has never been lacking and we have been very happy with both the Doncaster and Eastland stores for the last 16 years. We want to thank you for looking after us and our children’s feet and always getting the right fit for each of our very different children.

A massive thankyou to Elise for her fabulous assistance yesterday! My almost 1 year old daughter was in need of an appropriate pair of shoes to assist as she prepares to take her first steps. My daughter took an immediate liking to Elise who measured who foot length and directed me to a selection of shoe types to choose from. As soon as she tried the first pair on, my daughter started to smile and giggle, we realised we picked a winner!! :) Thankyou again heaps, Elise! We'll definitely come back again!

Had a terribly humiliating experience at this store a couple of years ago; the lady sales assistant along with another customer were utterly rude to me for no apparent reason other than I asked for a little bit of help. I left this store and placed a complaint. I refuse to buy shoes from any of the Shoes and Sox stores on principal. There are other stores that sell good quality children's shoes and I would much rather pay for a pleasant experience.

We booked an appointment online and did not have to wait. Staff at entrance very welcoming and helpful. Served by Meg who was lovely with kids, very engaging and fun. (I have identical twins and she remembered both their names and who they were - most people struggle so very impressed!) She quickly measured feet, and found the school shoes and runners we liked. Our overall experience was excellent and we will definitely be back next year!! Thanks

One of the sales assistants in this store was so rude, just spoke to me like I was a pesant. She was an older woman, the young girl was quite nice but she needed to ask this older woman for help to help me with my toddlers shoes. I left because she was of no help and was so rude, as a first time mum I wanted some guidance and maybe some suggestions or even just to size my boy... I left feeling annoyed and let down.

Quick, easy, super efficient. Two happy children who have shoes that fit not their school criteria as well as their own. Service was amazing, staff knowledgeable, confident that these shoes will stand the test of time and fit without rubbing or aching. LOVE the online booking! Please keep this after COVID, we were in and out for 2 children with our purchase in 15minutes. Such a time saver!!

Always amazing customer service at Eastland! Blown away that Miriam remembered me and personally thanked me for my last review. The store was so busy with the back to school rush, but the queue moved quickly, the staff were patient and kind to everyone and always ensure the kids get the right fit. I can’t remember the name of the lovely girl that served me, but thank you once again!

I pre-booked a fitting time for my 4 year old grandson, so no waiting! Fitted expertly, just as in previous visits. The assistant was an expert in dealing with a 4 year old boy, and the emphasis was definitely on the speediest shoes we could find ( within my defined parameters)! Excellent job, and a reasonable prices for Asics. We always buy kids shoes there.

Staff members are always very patient with my opinionated daughter! Shoes fit well. I like the loyalty scheme, though this would be a 5 star review if you could keep bonus cards on our electronic file rather than having to keep the physical cards, also handy if you could transfer shoes from other Vic stores if you’ve sold out of a size. I wish I could give them Zero stars Shoes had issues on the very first day. They didnt accept the return and started to blame the kid. My kid has been wearing other leather shoes for at least 2 years so blaming him was so uncalled for. There are so many other options around with better post sales services. Avoid them at all costs!

Small wait but with sign in to be put in the waiting list it was easy to track where we were up to and when our turn was. Staff were fabulous as always and the wait list was great as it meant the store wasn't overly crowded. Given the time of year and current environment this was reassuring. Thanks again Shoes & Sox!

Great service. Highly recommend the fit squad. The sales person (forgot to get her name) that helped us at Eastland today was very professional, friendly and knows her stuff. We walked in, got the fitting done, purchased shoes for my kids, exact model I was after and walked out happily. No fuss, no time waste.

The most incredible customer service. Today was our first time shopping at shoes and Sox and I was so blown away by the service. From the way the shop assistant interacted with my 5 year old daughter all the way to the end when she gave us some colouring in sheets to take up. Such a lovely experience for us!

Booked a fitting for my son's first school shoes. The booking meant no need to wait in line at the very small store. Fitting specialist "Fi" provided outstanding service and was very knowledgeable in recommending the right kind of shoe. All sorted in a short time, very happy.

Highly recommend this store, the manager was really helpful and explained the pro’s and con’s of the shoes, was knowledgeable and super friendly. The difference between my experience at this store and Knox was massive. I’m no Karen but this is one manager I’ll request again.

Just want to start by saying the staff were lovely. But there was one, one pair of shoes that would fit my kiddo. They had no stock, and despite their website saying they had stock for wide feet, they had nothing. Very disappointing.

Made an appointment for a special needs fitting. After an initial delay in the appointment starting on time, the service we received from Marissa was excellent. The quiet one on one setting made the experience run smoothly.

Great experience again at Eastland store. The virtual queue system is fabulous- no waiting around aimlessly. Fitters were friendly and patient with my child who has very strong opinions about the look and feel of shoes.

This store has its COVID plan seriously out of whack. The store manager is dismissive and my family does not appreciate the 'she'll be right' comment. Hence our decision to not purchase and walk out! Can Not Be Trusted.

Shoes and Sox Eastland has been our go to shoo for school shoes for a number of years. The service from the ground staff has always been impeccable. Wonderful, wonderful people.
