I’ve been purchasing shoes for my 3 kids in this shop for the last 9 years and I used to love it, the ladies where always nice, friendly and extremely patient and helpful. Today, this young lady had zero interest in selling us. She got annoyed about my toddler getting upset about having to be measured ( he cried for 20 seconds) and dropped the tool away with an attitude looking at my kid in the eye very Serious as if she was waiting for my kid to go quiet for her rather than encouraging him or making him feel comfortable or at least help me getting it done quicker. After this, she told me they didn’t had the style he liked in his size and walked away, without giving me any suggestions about other posible styles in his number. I was gonna get my other kid measured to try on a pair of shoes but she never came back to offer any further assistance. The other ladies behind the counter didn’t also show any intresting in checking on us ( they werent busy, it was only me an one more customer there), my husband and I couldn’t believe how rude they were. My last couple of experiences weren’t good either so I’m staying away from them from now on. Definitely not what it used to be.

The women both older and younger are mean, rasict and have no act of respect or politeness. Whether it is verbal or mental, your faces are disgusting and don't give at all niceness to costumers. It's normal to speak broken English, sneeze or look at shoes for your children!! You women who serve at the store are disgraceful and is very clear when you don't like a costumer because of their nationality, accent or face. When we went into the store, your facial expressions were rubbed into our faces that you don't like us. We don't know what we did, But you seem like you were mean bullies from high school!! Australia is a great country who is multicultural and there are people like you who seem to not like that idea. If you don't like the idea of other race visiting your store, then leave because you're going have to deal with it!! Some staff at Shoes and Sox were unbelievably mean, disrespectful and impolite!!

Quite a wait to get in, they probably should do a contact system when it gets to each customers turn so the customers can browse other shops while they wait. This is the second time I've been in this shop and essentially ignored even though I'm there holding a shoe for them to check sizes. At the moment each customer appears to be assigned a sales assistant, basically to get them in, get them served and send them out - to manage their operations safely for covid safety. There are buckle barriers at the shop front blocking both entrance and exit. Despite this i got accused of "walking in" when I asked for assistance when my attendant ditched me instead. Not the first time for bad customer service here. Given the crowd in the shop today they did not adhere to the covid space requirements anyway. Probably one of the worse customer experience I've ever had and my kids ever had

We booked an appointment online, which was really easy. When we arrived, we were greeted by a friendly staff member who explained the process (given the number of people allowed in the store at one time). We were then handed over to our ‘Fit Squad’ rep, Nancy. She was friendly, knowledgeable and super helpful. We had to get shoes for all three of our kids and she guided us to the best fit and style for each child. There was a huge range of school shoes and trainers to choose from and there was also a discount on school shoes. Nancy was really patient and flexible when the little one didn’t want to go first. It was totally stress free and I am hugely impressed by the service and the appointment system. We will definitely be back when the kids have trashed/grown out of these shoes...

Went into the store on the basis of a massive poster advertising buy 1 get 1 pair 50% off. Bought 2 pairs of shoes and was told there was no discount. It only applied to beach shoes and sandals - which was not made clear on the massive poster in the window. Disgraceful and misleading advertising. UPDATE: In response to the reply from the owner - that is a very disingenuous response. I raised the issue at the time with the store clerk, who advised she had similar concerns about the advertising being misleading and had raised them HQ - who promptly ignored her. For shame. Why don't you post publicly what, if anything, you intend on doing to rectify this instead of issuing generic responses?

We waited in the store 5 minutes prior to our appointment, we were completely ignored, they were busy though so we waited patiently. While waiting another woman who didn’t have an appointment walked in and they told her she could browse and book an appointment, we were still ignored. Then while we were still waiting, still ignored this lady got served. I went and asked when we would be seen for our appointment and the girl said once she had finished with the customer who came in after us without an appointment. We left, it wasn’t worth waiting customer service was terrible. Will be shopping elsewhere, unfortunate as we had to buy 4 pairs.

Paris is absolutely a legend in customer service. Her professional knowledge and her patience really helped our 1st school shoes journey. It has been a struggle to find a perfect shoes for my son as his school is extremely fussy on the type of shoes, and he has to wear a pair of special thick socks (school policy). My son has never worn any leather s school shoes before and it made him feeling very uncomfortable. Paris patiently explained everything and tried her best to find us the perfect fit. We will come back again for the second shoes. Thank you so much again!

I asked the sales assistant "how do we know when to size up our toddlers shoes?" to which she replied "when her toe nails start to curl". This is extremely irresponsible advice and could seriously impact our infants foot development. A friend who's a podiatrist suggested Shoes & Sox to get our toddler fitted as they employ podiatry students and have really good training. Obviously this is not always the case. The blonde lady (manager) that works at the Shoes & Sox concession store inside Myer is well informed, and provides excellent customer service and tips.

I have been shopping here since they opened at Highpoint, service is usually ok. Never before have I ever been so frustrated as I was the other day. They normally use a ticket system for service so I walked in and took a ticket and waited patiently with my daughter. Only to be pushed in by another customer who arrived sometime after us. I asked the girl if they were using the ticket system and she said no sorry I'll be with you shortly. Please, just use the tickets! If not, you need to take notice of who is in the shop and serve accordingly.

My daughter was sized-up incorrectly. Before purchasing the Harrison T-Bars, we went to compare comfort at a Clarke's store because Shoes & Sox had apparently run out of the required size in the Clarkes. Clarkes measured her up and then we went back to S&S to buy the Harrison as this was my daughter's preferred shoe at the end. I would have bought the wrong size, if it weren't for Clarkes. The service at Clarkes was also more friendly and helpful. On a positive note, the price of Harrisons were cheaper than other stores.

Great selection (the best kids shoe selection at Highpoint I'd say), but the new ticketing system needs work. You have to register online, but then there is no notification to say that you're nearing the start of the queue so you just have to stand there and wait anyway. We also had a couple of people's names called before ours, which was frustrating. Once we did get our turn, the girl who served us was lovely and we got two pairs of gorgeous new school shoes.

For our first fitting experience I was pretty disappointed. Was rushed, given basically no advice about which shoes would work best besides “anything on this wall or that wall”. No one even looked at how my son walks to see what kind of arch support or any other support needed. Chose here over athletes foot as I was expecting more attention for little feet. Didn’t get it. Also expensive prices so went to JD Sports ($25 cheaper). Sorry won’t be back.

I have adjusted my review (increased stars) and removed the comments of the issues I witnessed. Since the business is now aware of this incident I am sure they will have a chat with their manager / team about the importance customer service and treating customers with respect. We regularly shop from this store so If I happen to come across customers being treated poorly I will update my review again.

Thank you for the terrific service today when I had to purchase 3 pairs of school shoes and 3 pairs of school runners. Natasha was very efficient and helpful, which made the process a lot easier. Loved the QR log in to queue, which meant the service was fair and we didn’t have to wait longer than was necessary.

Couldn't fault the service team, who were extremely busy the time I was in the store. The notification at the front of the store to scan the QR code needs to be adjusted to accommodate non shoe fittings, e.g. returns/swaps.

Lovely, helpful, patient staff. Well set up for children. Only issue is that there is one queue that covers people who do not have an appointment, but nowhere for people who have booked their appointment to wait.
