Basically no staff anymore. They tag almost everything with antitheft stickers but never seem to have enough people that you can go through the checkout and get them deactivated. Instead, they keep a security guard near the self checkout to go through your bag when it inevitably sets off the alarm because going through the self checkout was the only option you had. This is an incredibly awkward interaction to have to have, and this whole situation has happened enough times now that I'm switching to a different shoppers location for my meds so I never have to come back here again. The whole setup of relying on the security guard for the checkout feels just plain inappropriate and all they would have to do to fix it is hire more people, but it doesn't look like that's happening anytime soon. I do want to say though, the pharmacy staff is wonderful and friendly and caring and I have nothing against them. If you're only looking to fill your prescription, this is a great place. It's only the store part that's poorly-run. But because I also need supplements for my medical condition, I need a place I can feel comfortable going to for both.

It’s a cute little store near my house that has everything but fresh groceries, other groceries though... ***UPDATE*** They have groceries! The eggs are usually on sale. The cosmetic staff is always lookin good. The pharmacists are friendly (they even laugh at my dad-jokes). It’s kind of the Pilipino Shoppers, there’s lots of Pinoy food in the shelves and freezers. Not for me, but I like the cultural diversity. There’s usually a good deal on headphones actually, forget Best Buy, I’m keeping my dollars in Canada. It’ll be interesting to see what happens when Loblaws does to the company after time. It was a smart acquisition. I’d rather shop here than No Frills (yes, also loblaws), and I DO. Nice people, always clean, shelves always refreshed in appearance. It’s a nice experience.

I just wanted to find out what time the postal services desk was open until on a Sunday. I know it's not open until the store closes. There is nothing on the Shoppers website about it or in the FAQ. I called the store for customer service but nobody picked up the phone either at the post office desk or at customer service. I tried for 20 minutes and finally gave up. It's 4:19 right now so I'll probably waste another half hour going to the store only to find out that the post office closes at 4 today. Shoppers, you owe me at least a half hour of wasted time and effort. The two stars are for the fact that there is a post office at this location. It's become my go to place to send stuff. The guys at the postal desk are really friendly and competent.

I’ve been going to this shoppers for years and have never had a problem as a white person but I came in with my friend who is a poc and the security followed us around the entire time we were shopping. Extremely inappropriate being that I have been a loyal customer here for over 10 years, I am truly disgusted by the racism my friend experienced today. Not only did she follow us but at the end of our shopping we had to show her our receipt where she accused us of stealing an item this store doesn’t even sell, a vape. I can see now how you guys treat women of colour trying to shop. Bring back the girl with the red hair in the beauty department she’s the only competent employee there.

the security guard pretty much followed me around the store. I went to self check out as I really needed to go next door to Starbucks to pee and there was a line for the regular check out. I have never used self checkout before and decided to get the option of my receipt emailed to me. Well, I payed it went through, and the security guard came running at me going out the door yelling that my stuff was not paid. Everyone turned and looked at me, I was really embarrassed. My payment did indeed go through, I just didn’t hit the final “ok” button telling me my receipt went through to my email. It was very embarrassing in a store full of people.

Not a lot of staff working here. I needed pedialyte and got sick of looking through all the aisles for it (because it was Sunday and I was needing electrolytes, so didn't have a lot of energy to be in the store in the first place). The pharmacy staff pointed me in the direction but didn't advise if they were out of stock so I was sent walking around aimlessly (I understand that's probably not their job to know if stuff is out of stock in the general merchandise). Otherwise has been a fine experience both times I went and the cashiers have been fine but they don't remind you about PC Optimum, you have to remember.

HORRIBLE. AVOID THIS PLACE. THE young staff are total jerks. They'll pile up stuff right next to your bag and say it's not their job to help you or to pack it. Also, no one answers the phone. The security guard hovers over you as you shop, despite going there everyday and spending hundred of dollars a month. It's unreal. the only good thing is the free parking. Today was the last straw. THEY DON'T WANT YOUR BUSINESS SO DO NOT GIVE IT TO THEM. THEY WILL TREAT YOU WITH ABSOLUTE DISDAIN.

Every time I buy skin care or cosmetics from this location, the product has gone bad. The colour, consistency or smell indicate the product is bad. Not sure if this is a rotation issue or not replacing product that has been sitting on shelves for a long time. I want to be able to trust what I put on my face isn’t expired. Hopefully this issue is looked into by the beauty boutique manager.

Recently picked up some great protein from them, I think it was Kaizen. I really like that Brand and its always in supply here. I find this drugstore fast to be in and out, well stocked with a decent asian section. Milk is always priced well as well. Their hours were open nicely during COVID and we thank them for this. I am really pleased with this location. All the cashiers and supervisors I've interacted with are efficient, knowledgeable, and polite. It doesn't get too busy but there is usually only one cashier around and self-checkout is usually encouraged especially for debit/cc transactions. Good selection of products and refrigerated items like drinks, dairy and frozen products.

For phone conversation np but in person had multiple arguments with pharmacy staff in past, if u want the best shoppers in town go to the w41st location and deal with Valentina or Serena. Valentina regularly goes through your file and notices potential issues that almost all pharmacists would over look or be to lazy to check. A+

Worst customer service, I have experienced at a Shopper's location! They didn't give me a refund for a brand new item with receipt because the manager said, I was late by ONE day. I went to another location and got the refund right away. Avoid this store, better buy your products somewhere else.

The cashier LIMA ! LIMA ! LIMA! is extremely rude and racist, if you are not Indian, just don't even bother going. As a customer, I expect to be treated with respect and dignity, but unfortunately, that was not the case here. it is disappointing to see such behavior in this day and age.

Came here for walk-in vaccine appointment. Sadly denied. The person at the pharmacy was not very nice. But I guess they are used to these questions. The shoppers website claimed to have walk in appointments largely displayed on their website but It seems a bit misleading.

Went there during the day and it was really understaffed in the grocery area. Was looking for a box of envelopes and neither of the employees knew if they had ever carried them or were just out of stock. Also had to wait a while for a cashier to show up at the checkout.

Beauty department manager was nice and all but lied to me that pc points cannot be used for online shopping....Sad!!but thanks for the samples which you were really reluctant to give.I hope for the downfall of this franchise and most of its employees.

Emma is an absolute star! I have been taking time to choose a perfume and she was very patient, friendly and beyond helpful! She is always nice with other customers as well and goes above and beyond. You are lucky to have such a wonderful employee!

Good selection of everything for a small Shoppers Drug Mart. We have purchased medicine, make-up, food etc. all here. There is also now a post office so it’s super convenient. Attached post office hours photo taken Oct 2023.

The pharmacist that I talked to was amazing. Very knowledgeable. Couldn't go to the doctor because everything was booked up on Sunday and I asked the pharmacist and she pointed out a natural supplement that worked amazing.

Terrible service, employees are not friendly or helpful. Manager also doesn't care about customer service in-store. Security measures too much and make loyal, paying customers feel unwelcome in-store. Would not recommend.

Stopped by the pharmacy today to get an unscheduled tet/diptheria booster vaccination. The pharmacist (Dr Claudia Chan) was very accommodating despite being busy. injection technique was also excellent. Hardly felt it.

Pharmacists are more concerned with blaming the patient then admitting they're wrong. If you're looking for altruism, understanding and general competency, do NOT go to this pharmacy, apathy is all you will encounter.

Everytime we go there the cashiers are closed and the sign says use self serve, the self seve does not take cash. I do not put up with this s##t. I demand for a cashier and everyone else should do the same.

This store does have a dedicated electronics section that sells game consoles and accessories. Make sure to check the little glass box up front next to the cashiers for stuff too so you don't miss anything.

I always love to visit and shop at this location. But today dec.12,2023 my attention was caught by a guy calling the securities attention to the aisle where I'm at..It's so sad some people are judgemental.

I went there very late at night and it was nearly closed. I parked my car near the front door and the door was closed by the time I finished shopping. The security was really nice and open the gate for me.

Seems like this location has a really low trust customer policy. Will not give bags yet ask for ID if you want to use the plastic bin to carry your purchases to the parking. Not customer friendly at all.

I would give them zero star if there is an option! Do not buy there. If there is something wrong with the purchase they give you no customer service! Stay away from them.

The manager had the worst attitude ever, was disrespectful and act like she didn’t care at all. Everyone else were nice, including the cashiers and the security guard.
