Now I understand why this pharmacy has such low ratings. I forgot I needed a prescription for my daughter's surgery which is at 6am, I called this shoppers as there were two options open and they said they had what we needed in-stock at 11:29pm, I told them I was coming to get it, they said they close at midnight and I said that was fine as I was only a few minutes away (8) so I'd be there before they closed and they said okay. I was there in 8 minutes and when I got there they loudly spoke about the prescription saying that it wasn't an emergency and they'd put it in their system but not fill it. I realize it was last minute but as a parent with a child who is sick and going in for surgery I forgot one thing we needed. The pharmacist and her assistant both said oh well they'd already began to close and when I said I'd have gone somewhere else the assistant visibly rolled her eyes and said "where would you have gone" I phoned the chinook shoppers and the pharmacist there confirmed had I been there even a couple minutes before midnight he would have 100% filled the prescription but there was no way for me to make it there in time, so now I won't have it tomorrow morning all because staff at this pharmacy allowed me to go there without telling me they wouldn't fill the prescription even though I clearly told her I was coming to get it. So hurt and frustrated they shouldn't be working in a field that is based around helping people as they do not care at all. Do better shoppers. If anyone knows how to report this further please let me know as there was much more to this encounter than I am able to type, mainly want people to know not to go there especially in a city with so many options and do not believe pharmacy staff if a medication is urgent that they will fill it for you

This is my first time to write a review here, coz i was just really feel So bad about what happened. I have a bad experienced from Last night With this Shoppers pharmacy located at Mcknight Village. From the hospital last night, we went straight to the near open pharmacy which is the shoppers Pharmacy. I talked to the lady and gave my prescription to her, and she was told me i need to wait for 45mins, and i ask a favor if they can make a little faster coz my husband was sick and he’s inside the car, she replied we can do as much as we can, i just gave you the waiting time. After 20-25mins i just came back and asking if they’re done already, im trying my luck if they consider my request, But in my surprise they didn’t do anything about it, and take note there’s nobody in the line and seems like not a busy hour, i was wondering why they’re not giving any consideration about that since they are not busy??? Why And luckily when i asked them, the young lady entertain me who i feel like she’s the only one there that has a good heart that willing to help me, but suddenly the other The other lady was just shouting there and said “I am entering now mam to the computer, would you Mind to sit down mam? Or do you want me to give it back to you without anything?..and the young lady that willing to help back to the other counter. Bad Experience Take note: (a lady who’s shouting) 1. Yelling to the customer 2. Eating while working infront of the computer 3. No manners 4. No compassion to people Owner of the Pharmacy, im sorry to tell you this but please do something about this kind of staff you have in your store and its not a good customer service.Find someone that like the attitude of a Young girl in your store.

I very rarely write reviews if at all but I have got to commend the customer service of the ladies at the beauty bar in this location. I called at around 8 o'clock this past Friday night and talked to a lady named Saba ( I believe that was it but I don't think I'm spelling it right) She was absolutely wonderful. Very beautiful presence from start to finished. Extremely knowledgeable about the product I was inquiring about, considering she also uses it herself; which is a plus. I also appreciate her patience with me she didn't seem exasperated in the least about the amount of questions I had, it was about 5 or 6 but that's a lot when you just want to hurry up and get off the phone, but that's not the air I got from her at all. She was great! She told me it was no problem holding the item I asked for and said even if I didn't come in the next day it would still be here for me, which was great to hear. She was SUPER accommodating. Fast-forward to the next morning when I came in at around 9am there was another lady working there. Very sweet as well I believe her name started with a "T". She handled the exchange beautifully and I was done in about less than 5 minutes. Her and I also had a nice chat and she let me know that Saba had written a note for me just saying how nice of a customer I was and explaining to her coworker what the situation was. I thought Saba went over and above and I can't give her enough accolades on her customer service. I would recommend anyone who needs a little help with beauty product knowledge to go to her. P.S I hope a manager sees this so they are made aware (if they don't know) how much of an asset she and the other lady are. Sincerely, K.C

My recent encounter with Canada Post at Falconbridge Shoppers Drug Mart has left me thoroughly dissatisfied and frustrated due to what I can only describe as horrendous customer service. By far the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. I ordered my prescription days ago knowing I was about to run out of medication. I never heard from anyone so I stopped in today. The guy working tells me they have not received their shipment yet, so I let him know I'm now on day 2 without my medication, so he decides to check the back. Miraculously, he found some and said it'll be 15 minutes. I go buy something and come back to sit and wait for my prescription. The guy working sees me and makes eye contact several times, so I assume my medication isn't ready yet. I'm a very patient person and know pharmacies can get swamped, so I wait. After an hour, I go back to the counter and ask if it's ready. The guy tells me it's been ready for a while, so I asked him why he didn't tell me that when he saw me sitting there for an hour. He says "oh, you were sitting there?" and I can tell he's smirking. I don't know what I did to this man to irritate him, but I had been nothing but kind and patient with him. There is absolutely no way he did not see me, so he just decided to be rude and unprofessional. I will never return, and I will make sure none of my friends and family ever go here either. Absolutely *horrendous* customer service.

I do not get this at all…. The pharmacy and the staff have always been great to me and my fiancé. In the past I always went to this Shoppers. I decided to go back to this shoppers because I never had a bad experience. Today I had to go pick up my medicine and my fiancé was with me. The security guy told my fiancé that he could not come in because he had a backpack. My fiancé told me to get my medicine and he will be waiting outside for me. I asked the security guy “why isn’t he allowed to come in?” He told me that it’s store policy that people with backpacks are not allowed in. so I pointed out that my purse was bigger than my fiancé backpack. His replied that I was still allowed in. I do not get that part. But about 5 minutes later I see a guy walk in with a backpack.. so this one guy with a backpack was allowed in but my fiancé wasn’t and my big purse is… This isn’t right or should be like this. The reason why my fiancé has a backpack is because his been dealing with cancer over 10 years and there things that he needs. There’s something wrong with this picture. I never really write reviews and I do not like writing bad reviews but this I couldn’t get out of my head.

I have been using this pharmacy for the better part of 10 years and 90% of the pharmacist and pharmacy staff are extremely friendly, polite and do there job well. But unfortunately the one male pharmacist that has been working there about a year is the absolute worst pharmacist I have ever had to deal with. He thinks he is a doctor and with grill you about every possible thing, when in reality he is a pharmacist not a doctor. He has a attitude that you are below him and treats his customers like they are children. He accuses you of forgery when you are trying to get amoxicillin for your child when you bring him a fax of the prescription. He throws nalaxone kits at you saying and I quote" I think you need this " without any context or reasoning behind it. He is rude, pushy and prys into your business when he is not asked or needed too. Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had dealing with this man. He is arrogant and looks down his nose at you. Do not come here, do not waste your time dealing with this man who is not worth your time or energy. I would give zero stars of I could. Fire him immediately or you will keep losing customers.

Coralee is the best employee I've ever dealt with and should train other employees how to take care of shoppers. Coralee is always friendly, pleasant, helpful and just plain nice. I am always happy when she answers the phone but I haven't seen or spoken to her in awhile. Since the full time delivery lady, Terry, left there has been a lot of problems with deliveries. Please bring her back. The pharmacist does try to help but it's his employees that ruin his efforts. He told me to call my prescriptions in the night before but the employees told me to call the same day, out of 12 months maybe 4 months are trouble free. Either they aren't filled when promised, deliveries are missed, faxes are missed etc. Many of the employees help as much as they can but some just don't care. My son has waited hours when I was told they were ready to be picked up. It is never the same and things are very inconsistent. Many times the phone is not even answered or I am on hold for 15 to 20 minutes which is very long so I hang up. Please either hire more people or train the ones you have to be more consistent and patient with customers. Thank you.

I never leave review but I am a bit frustrated and disappointed . I recently transferred my and my daughter prescription to this location as it is very close to my house . I called right after my doctor appt to move all prescriptions to this pharmacy as I have done so many times before and they confirmed that all active prescriptions were moved over . Today I called and only some were moved over , when I came to to pick up they were not forthcoming if all my prescriptions were now sitting with them or even to confirm what they had . The gentleman appeared frustrated and kept saying if he did not call earlier to move them then he was unsure . I get that you may not know but he could have checked and I could call on Monday to make sure …correct ? These meds were for my daughter and myself asthma . I worked for a long time in customer service so I really hate writing this but I walked out feeling very frustrated and not helped at all . I have had my prescriptions at this location since around 2009 and usually have great service but the last few times , the pharmacy staff are short and not very helpful . :(

My husband was booked on April 2nd at 10 am for a Covid test for travel. The pharmacist doing tests was late. While waiting, we observed a young female pharmacy employee make fun of an elderly customer to another employee. We also watched the pharmacist swab another customer prior to my husband. As soon as he was done with the other customer, it was my husband’s turn. The pharmacist picked another swab and was going to proceed to swab my husband. I interrupted him to ask him to sanitize hands and change gloves. I believe this should be standard practice at all times, not only during a pandemic. I was also concerned that samples were not immediately labeled to prevent mixups. Shoppers Drug Marts also charge double the price of Walmart for Covid tests. Please do not reply with your standard answer and ask me to call. I already wrote a review so won’t repeat myself by calling. This is a public review and it would be in the public’s interest for you to reply by letting us know what you have done to rectify these issues if you believe they have validity.

I have never been more disrespected as a person or a customer in my entire life. Go figure this shoppers has the worst ratings. If I could give zero stars I would. I was there a few days ago in the Boutique inquiring about cologne and was "helped" by a women. My cousin and I were wearing jackets and sunglasses as anyone would be in the weather Calgary has had this past week. As we were inquiring about cologne she proceeded to page security than complain that we are wearing jackets inside the store and why because according to her the weather was "hot" out. I have never been more degraded in my entire life. I am a paying customer coming to pay hundreds for cologne and this employee thought she had the audacity to question us about the clothing we are wearing. No one acknowledged our concerns or the events that took place. I wouldn't suggest coming to this location if you want to be racially profiled and accused of stealing. Take your concerns else were in the city I guarantee you won't be pleased at this location.

7:40 PM i went to pharmacy with high blood sugar to get a needle for my insulin pen. First pharmacy staff has no awareness what happens when somebody blood sugar is high as get confused. Pharmacy manager asked me what i need and i pointed to needle box and than i requested to create a account and run through my medical insurance. She mentioned 15 people ahead of me and than she asked so you need only 1 needle and i said yes. She said than you need to ask politely and i started wondering am i RUDE to them? OR pharmacy manager is having a bad day or seems like she is having inner complex problem. I asked for the manager to speak with and she said she is manager and by the way she gave me defected needle so i just drove home 30 minutes to give myself insulin. Now i understand lot of bad reviews earlier and nobody is going to take action as she is manager and what a role model for the staff. NEVER EVER GO TO THIS PHARMACY!!!! Sadly they are ruining the great company name "Shoppers Drug Mart" .

Worst pharmacy for Shoppers Drug Mart I've ever been too. Constant mistakes and extremely slow. Tonight was extra special; there were FOUR people behind the counter, with two open tills. Three of the employees were talking to the same person, who was on the phone trying to get their prescription sorted out... while 8 people stood in line for over 25mins and watched the inefficiency of the staff. Lots of people in line complaining too, but not once did they problem solve and get one employee to help the one customer and one to man the tills! That would still leave them with one pharmacy tech and the pharmacist to keep doing other things. Absolutely bizarre. Multiple people came a left... and how I envied them! If I hadn't needed to pick up this prescription tonight, I would have left too. I am literally writing this review while min 26 ticks by standing in line, at 9pm. Unbelievable. Time to switch to another pharmacy. Don't waste your time.

Talked to the manager of their leaving ur backpack policy she’s extremely rude to me when I tried to speak slowly despite I was under the poor health and unable to speak faster. She said I m being very rude sorry about that Ma’am I can’t understand why you were in a poor mental state being very discriminate people who were not speaking faster enough. Being discriminate and rude to disability people were very unethical please improve your attitude. Please and thank you. Will never return to shop again and very unprofessional handled the complaints regard the policy complain. Update: I said I was trying to talk slower she thinks I was trying to make her feel insulted that I was accusing her not understanding what I was trying to say. What I really meant is that I was sick and trying to talk slowly in a respectful manner. I left without saying anything else beside it just gave me disappointment and crying

I had such a bad experience while looking at perfumes, the security guard kept staring at me in such a way, it was very uncomfortable, staring as if I was going to steal something. No matter where I would move he kept staring in such an intimidating way, I tried to speak to the manager but she wasn't aound, another employee just said the security is doing his job. There is a line where security does their job and where they make clients uncomfortable, it is very disrespectful! I just read other similar reviews, but after seeing all the bad reviews and the owner standard reply to all of them, I don't think they care one bit, they just want our money. I will still try to address it with the manager, so I hope other people take a longer drive and go to a different location, this place is a dump, read all the reviews! Dirty, rude employees, no efficiency and security act as if he works for a prison ....

Was in the store this morning around 10. My wife and I found a very nice ladies robe (faux fur), the tag said 15% off original price, 22.99 after sale. My wife grab 4 of them to give to the teacher as a gift for Christmas, went to the cashier to pay for it, but it scanned 39.99, the cashier called someone for help and the guy (manager maybe?!) told us that it was their mistake but they can’t honour the price displayed, and can only do 15% off of 39.99 for only one of them and that they’re sorry, we said that’s not right! So the guy said ok, 15% off of 39.99 for all for of them, which is not right as well because that is not the displayed price! Isn’t there a policy in every store that they have to honour the displayed price if the price is different in the system? Absolutely dissatisfied and disappointed. Wow! How can you get good reviews if you guys don’t even honour store policy. Unbelievable!

Worst customer service ever!!!! This should be a 0 star. I called around 6pm today July 25th to transfer my daughters eyedrop RX from another pharmacy, and went at 9:30pm to pick it up but it wasn't ready, I was fine with it waited and gave my insurance to the lady but apparently she rolled her eyes on me and told me "YOU COULDVE GAVE IT WHEN YOU DROP IT OFF" I told her it was a transfer prescription and still she gave me an attitude and rolled her eyes on me, I asked her name and asked for the manager but she didn't acknowledge me at all. I am so disappointed. She is not really helpful at all. Pharmacist hopped in as she is having a hard time to enter my insurance. Asked the pharmacist what is her name and he told me that her name is RAMA, the manners she gave me is unacceptable and she is very unprofessional. Not gonna go back to this pharmacy anymore!!!!!!!!

I use to love this location. They use to have have an amazing customer service staff. Since the installation of the self checkouts things have gone down hill. This evening there was one very overworked cashier trying to handle all the issues at the self checkout and take care of the ever growing line up at her till. No other staff to be seen. Staff are directed to encourage customers to use the self checkouts and they have percentages of shelf checkout customers they have to have on a shift or risk losing their jobs too. I'm disgusted at the owners of the location forcing employees to eliminate their own positions. I'm so sick of being asked to go to the self checkout. If you dont want to provide a cashier to serve me I'll take my 1000+ dollars of month of business and bring it to a pharmacy believes in good customer service and values their employees.

I came to take picture as I changed name and need to update my PR card. Never come to this location before. The lady took my picture and asked me to wait for printing. It was quick. However, when I received I notice that my face wasn’t center in the picture. I spoke to another lady (I forgot both of their name) and she said need to take another pic. The same lady who took my pic earlier took another pic. I removed my glasses during the photo session. She talked to me however I can’t hear proper since I didn’t have my glasses on and ask her to repeat it. I concentrate on what she is saying and grasp that she asked me to put my hair front to cover my ear. What I didn’t appreciate that she was rolling her eyes, raise her voice and showing that she is upset. I won’t comeback even for shopping. We are all the same human with same rights at the end.

My dad went to use the Canada Post service located inside this Shoppers Drug Mart. He had a really bad experience as the lady on the counter was rude and had unethical behavior. MY dad had the information of the address he was sending the parcel to written on a paper and the staff just had to help him right it on the envelop as he just got his eye surgery done and was unable to write or read small text. The lady rudely refused to help him saying " IF YOU CAN'T RIGHT ENGLISH WHY DID YOU COME TO CANADA". That is a totally unacceptable comment specially coming from someone working in Canada post. This location is in the NE community and many immigrants live in the neighborhood so I Just wanted to share the incident to make sure any one else won't have to face this sort of racism from any customer service employee. Thank you

I unfortunately got to deal with Robin, who is absolutely unpleasant to talk to. My Manulife app was not working, for some reason I couldn't sign in. I usually have everything written in my notes and I showed that to her. She wouldn't accept it, she said she needs to see the card that's where the correct information would be. So I signed in online and showed it to her. That still wasn't good enough. After 1 hour of not being able to do the claim, I paid and took the medication. Area was helping too, atleast she was pleasant to talk to. This Robin woman had not even a smile on her face. People like her shouldn't be in customer service. She said she knows what's right and wrong because she's been doing it for so long That's where the attitude comes from. Will never want to deal with this location again for pharmacy.

Been using here since early 2021. Never on time with my prescriptions even if given hours or days ahead of time. Pharmacists are either short, rude or don't know how to answer your question. Store is always dirty feeling. Today gave them one last try - was told my prescription was ready ahead of time. Go there after work to get it, it is not ready, so I said I'll wait - gets told it'll be a hour. So I said no unfortunately I'll have to transfer to a new shoppers closer to my home. I get my new shoppers to call and this one hasn't answered them in 2.5 hours. Get to my new one and they still aren't answering to fill my prescription. Currently sitting here almost 3 hours later for a pre packaged birth control prescription because this Shoppers incompetence. Will never step foot here again.

I just moved to this pharmacy in September. I do feel for them because they are a busy pharmacy and never seem to have enough staff. However, I’ve been on hold for half an hour…then I called back and they put me back on hold again. I miss out on getting my meds because of this. They also never seem to have stock of anything needed whenever I’m in. I always hear them turning people away because they don’t have a medication in stock. There is only 2 people who work here who I’ve seen treat their customers with respect. I am going to have to transfer soon because I can’t go without my medication. Unfortunately I can’t do everything online such as fill a new prescription etc. if I could, I would because I’d rather deal with technology than people who don’t care about the people they serve.

Its always feeling of disrespect at this location by security guards. Security guards always follow you till to the whole store. Yesterday it was very bad experience around 5pm. I parked my car at the front of the store , i was in hurry so i parked my car at handicap parking spot, i know that is wrong but when i entered in store i told the security guard i will remove my car in 2 minutes then i entered into the store . in 2 minutes when came outside to remove the car from that spot security guard was misbehaving with family they were in the car , security guard have no patience at all , if he had a issue he should call the police why he was misbehaving with my family , all the store employees in cosmetics area was supporting him for this. very disappointing , worst store for shopping.

Incompetent pharmacy staff! I was prescribed a cream for my son's weenie infection... They asked me what it was for and if it was for a large area. I didn't think much of those questions when they asked but I specified it was for a tiny area so I didn't need lots of it. When I picked up the prescription, I was surprised by an outrageous 100$ price tag! I was in a rush so just paid and trusted it was what I needed. When I got home I realized I was left with 10000 times the amount of cream I truly needed. I called and apparently I can t get a refund even though the tube is not open! They obviously suspected it was too much but didn't bother calling the doctor to make sure it was the right amount. To me that's incompetency!!! Waste of my time and 100$!

Today I am totally disappointed with the pharmacy at this location. We wanted to have travel vaccine. Through the shoppers website, we checked availability of date and time for the vaccine. We were able to book for four of us. We also received confirmation email from shoppers regarding the same. When we arrived at the right time for our vaccination with our kids, we were told that the person who takes care of travel vaccines is not available on saturdays! Really? Then why you let us book our appointment and sent the confirmation email? Again, employees were totally unknown to figure out what’s going on or suggest what could be available options they could offer. So please take people’s concern seriously and be accountable to your customers. Thanks!

I was picking up a prescription I had never taken before; I asked to speak with the pharmacist about this new medication. It was very busy. The pharmacist came over and asked why I was taking it, I said it quietly, he didn't hear and wanted me to say my condition louder. I did not want too and told him I didn't want to yell my condition out because I wanted it to be kept private. He got mad and told me to take the medication 'whenever I wanted'. Instead of asking me to go to the consulting area and sitting and talking with me he got mad that I didn't shout out my condition. A pharmacist's job is to provide customers with knowledge about their prescription so they can take it safely. I will no longer be using this pharmacy due to my experience.

I am new in the area and decided to switch pharmacies because it is closer to my new home. Well i think that’s probably the worst decision i made in all of 2023. The workers really can’t do their job properly, i came to get a refill for my prescription and one of the pharmacists told me to come back in 45 mins. I come back an hour later and they tell me it will 10 more minutes. So i decided to shop for some groceries in the meanwhile. I come back to the counter and one of the employ tells me that i am 1 day early for my refill and they cannot give it to me until tomorrow. This is after making me wait an hour and a half. I’d give it one star if i could. They have no regard for anyone’s time.very disappointed.

MACKENZIE BRION is the worst pharmacist I have ever dealt with. She had a bad attitudes from the start. I just came back from a 2 week Brazil trip as this is where my rapid test was done. She was very rude; unprofessional and even her colleague pharmacist told me that’s the way she is. My friend thinks she hates her job. No customer service from Mackenzie what’s so ever. Mackenzie threatened not to do my test as I had a international full day flight 6 hours after! My appointment was booked a week in advanced. This was my first time at this shoppers and it will be my last. Get a better attitude or don’t work with people. Look at the overall google review rating of this business. Disgusting.

This pharmacy is as horrible as the others in the area, being a pharmacist must be an impossible job as none of them can fill a prescription right if their life depended on it. the one drug i needed that could be a matter of life or death is a RESCUE inhaler wasn't filled the girl was indifferent and said this is what was filled, i was getting heated and they called the pharmacist over and said oh yeah it's here give us 20 minutes, are you kidding me it's a label on an inhaler. it had already been 24 hours since i left the prescription with them. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE THIS IS CLEARLY DANGEROUS AND THE STAFF DOESN'T CARE ABOUT ANYTHING, act as if there doing you a favor.

Went here to get my flu shot and completed the online registration process to save time at the pharmacy. Lady at the pharmacy acted like she was doing me a favour, very poor customer service. I was then asked to wait till the pharmacist called me in, the pharmacist meanwhile was making small talk with a colleague of his. He continued chatting with this guy for about 20 mins. In the meantime 5-6 people had now gathered and were waiting for their shot. There was no proper place to wait either, and the lady at the counter told me to wait as far away from the pharmacy counter as possible. Really really horrible customer service, will never be going to pharmacy here again.

Absolutely horrific experience. Pharmacist screaming and accusing my partner of lying about a prescription the clinic forgot to send. Told him they do not care if he gets his medication or not. He came out from behind the counter, screaming, then left the store before eventually returning to scream more before finally agreeing to fill the medication. The pharmacist acted as though he was giving medication away from his own expenses. Just extremely entitled, unkind, and unhelpful behaviour that left my partner shaking. Vulnerable people who rely on their medication should not go here, please go somewhere you will be treated with care and kindness.

The pharmacy staff are just rude. Anytime I’ve gone to drop off/pick up prescription the staff have been nothing but rude unwelcoming and don’t even care to go over instructions anymore, get very annoyed anytime you ask them questions about any prescription or just any question for that matter. Not only was the lady rude to me dropping of a prescription today. She was also very rude to the guy handing in his prescription before me. Even when you call to fill a prescription they are also rude over the phone. The first few time I figured it was just a bad day but this has been an ongoing thing now. And I figured it was time to leave a review.

I went today to drop prescriptions and the young lady was very helpful, however when. I came and picked up my son prescription the lady who approached and helped me was very reluctant and unwelcoming, which I do understand maybe she is having a bad day, but that doesn’t justify a rude behaviour. After I paid she then just hand me out all the medication without any explanation, well I can read instructions however this particular incident makes me wonder, am I inconveniencing her. And every time I go and pick up my prescriptions at this location has been great except for this last visit.

Worst customer service ever. Today, I was at pharmacy to fill prescription for my wife's cough syrup and it was very quite time. They told me 20min waiting time for Prescription even they were not busy. After 15min I ask for is my prescription ready as he was not busy?? He told me to wait 5min more as your pick time is not due. I show that my prescription was ready in front of me still I waited 5min more to get that as I was before time. So frustrating. Staff was good but Pharmacist was so rude and didn't smile. Also he didn't counsel on my new drug. How can be they so irresponsible!!

I came in to spend a gift card while I waited for my mom at the next door clinic and from the moment I entered the store the security guard followed me. It is unnerving and uncomfortable to shop while an overzealous guard looks over your shoulder. It was disheartening to be treated as a potential threat without any valid reason (I had a singular hoodie pocket on my clothing and it would be evident if something was in there). It is essential for businesses to find the right balance between security and customer respect, I encourage this location to reevaluate their security protocols.

If negative stars were an option I’d give them -1,000. I take anti psychotics as-well as anti depressants. every single time I need a re-fill something goes wrong. My meds were transferred to a different location, I was unable to get them because I had to pay (was under insurance) I waited almost a week for my refill after calling them 6 hours in advance that I was coming to get them they said they were ready when I called, once I got there they did not have it ready, and once three days later once they were ready they only gave me 4 of each medication.

This is my first time I ever write any review. I went to this location to pick up my parcel and when I enter the store, the security personnel ask my backpack to drop in there while I was going into the store. I mean I know they must have their reasons to do so but thats kind of weird and insulting too. I mean you should trust your customers. Not everyone who have the backpack will steal anything from the store. I will never visit this shoppers ever again. I’ve been mailing stuff weekly at the Canada post within this shoppers location for the last 5 months and Deepika has consistently provided wonderful customer service and patiently provides the best product for the customer no matter how busy she is. Today, she went above and beyond to help me with my postage needs. Do not come here. Pharmacy staffs are rude and yelled at customers. We made a complain with her manager, she over heard and continuing yelled and interupted the conversation, very unprofessional. The younger lady staff that we dealt with has a phathetic customer service skill. Elder staff doesn't act up to his age. Just don't come to this pharmacy, they will not do anything with your feedback. Staffs are obviously lack of training and their owner would not do anything about it but sending automatic reply here.

I was in on Dec 8th evening and the woman at the pharmacy counter was extremely rude. She would not help me with my medication or explain it to me. She was so unprofessional to me, that I called in to ask customer service to forward my complaint to the manager. The customer service agent refused to do so. She then refused to provide me with the woman at the pharmacys name. She then also refused to give me her name and then put me on hold and never came back to the phone. Zero stars. after telling me they don’t have my prescription in stock and proceeding to say over the phone on a different occasion that they can administer it regardless of me getting it from another pharmacy, i made the 20 minute drive back to their location just to hear that it was all a misunderstanding and i can’t get it done after all. the organizational structure and communication between its customers of this shoppers is absolutely atrocious and i would never recommend this place to anyone i know.

I used to go to this location all the time but it has gone completely down hill with customer service. The last 3 time I’ve used the post office, i have gotten the same lady and all 3 times she has been extremely rude. So much so that I go to a different location now. And after going there today for the pharmacy, i have decided that I won’t even go back for that because the people working at the pharmacy are just as rude if not worse. Got both vaccine shots here and both times it was a disaster. No information on where to go to sign in, had people getting rapid covid tests sitting beside people for vaccines. The pharmacy staff were short tempered. There was garbage on shelves, in aisles. Was told day before they had phizer and Moderna, we get there and they don't have phizer. This is the worst pharmacy I have ever seen. Most of the staff are non cooperative, even if you do not look for any favor. Whenever you call them; they pick up your phone and always ask for holding. But these holding never ends. If you want to express your questions or concerns, they are always busy accepting it as well to give feedback on it. Prescription filling time too long. I will never recommend them as a supportive pharmacy to anyone.

This is one of the worst pharmacies I have ever used. They are completely lacking in customer service skills. When waiting at the pharmacy they will let you stand there without even acknowledging you. When they do finally get around to serving you they act as though it is an inconvenience. I called to renew a prescription and was advised that they need 24 hours to fill it. 24 hours for a very simple prescription is frankly unacceptable.

The consultant who administered vaccine to my wife was rude, The pharmacy didn’t call my wife despite saying that they will once they receive prescription fax from our doctor. The nurse got rude just for reiterating what he said to understand it clearly since his voice was not clear. He didn’t even give cotton after administering the vaccine. This is one of the worst pharmacies in calgary and it gains its reputation because of the the employees behind the counter. They are very rude and disrespectful, super slow so get ready to wait 45 min to an hour even if its not busy at all. Especially that girl with a septum piercing who thinks she’s a doctor and not a pharmacist like go back to ur 15$ an hour job. Wearing a white robe does not turn you into a doctor or a therapist.

Rubbish service. This SDM requires 48 hours to refill a prescription, which is asinine to begin with, but they refuse to answer their phone (I've waited on hold for almost an hour). In addition, the online renewal system keeps locking me out as I travel between Vancouver and Calgary and it cannot seem to keep my account straight. I get that you're busy, but perhaps you should consider hiring someone to answer the damn phone?

I used to come here quite a bit but stuff like this makes it not worth my time. One security guard (June 27th evening) decided to follow me around the store, not the first time he has done it, only one that ever does it when I come in. I have never attempted to steal anything, no reason to, I make good money, but having someone treat you this way is preposterous, never coming back to this store again

Pharmacy guy didn’t even check my insurance if its covered or not. First they said wait for 1 hour fr medication pick up even I wasn’t feeling fine. And after 1 hour i still waited for medicine 30 mins more and they said these medicines not covered by insurance without even checking but when i came home and checked both of them are covered. For 2 medicine 1.5hrs alot one is spray and one is tablets

I have been using this pharmacy since it opened many years ago and think it is the best I've ever used. Of course there's been an issue or 2 over the years but where hasn't there been in any store? The problems were solved quickly and courteously. I have also found the pharmacists here to be extremely concerned about the health of their customers. I felt so uncomfortable walking around in shoppers today. The security guard was watching and eyeing us everywhere we went even when we went to go pay. He did not give us space and it very much bothered me and my friend and drove us out of the place. We weren’t the only teenagers in there and yet he was tracking us down. Not satisfied at all. This has happened twice. Change needs to happen.

The person working at the pharmacy not only did not help me out, but she became annoyed. Ok fine. I drove across the street to the Safeway pharmacy and they were more than happy to help me out. Called on a Monday afternoon (1pm) to talk to the post office. Customer service put me on hold for 20 minutes. Hung up and called again, and was immediately put on hold again for another 20 minutes. Physically went to the store and, surprise surprise, it was empty... Please either have your staff actually answer the phone, or don't have a phone line at all.

I went there to ask for a volunteering opportunity and the pharmacist told me to send him an email and he gave me his business card to send him my resume. I never got a reply for my email. So disappointed with the pharmacy. I was told to wait 45 for medicine and so I came up and ask if it's done. They said it's still in progress and would be ready soon. Worst Pharmacy in the city. They fail to relay important information regarding prescription pick-up. They have no problem accepting prescription only to let the patient know later that they do not have it. They would rather make you do 2-3 trips to fill the prescription. Very nice clean location. There is a lot of selection and quite a bit of food if your stopping to get milk and snacks. It's not separated into a cosmetics area that you're forced to walk through like so many other locations. Always a lot of staff members and a security person around.
