I do my basic grocery here once a week, like milk and eggs. 2 weeks ago I bought some bread and peanut butter; they were both expired. I talked to an associates and requested the next time I do not hope to see anything edible expired. We want to buy food which is good for consumption. Everyone knows Shoppers charge more than other normal grocery, but I work 2 jobs 7 days so it's more convenient for me to pick up anything basic. Today I went again and tried to get k-cup coffee. I chose 2 boxes and they were both expired. I asked an associate to double check expiry date and he confirmed expired. He claimed himself to be the manager. I told him 2 weeks ago I already caught another edible items expired. I warned the young guy I hope they could do a better job. The manager said there is no policy and no compensation to reflect to consumers that they care. He said they have team members to check stock expiry every week. So I challenged whoever, was not doing a proper job. Why penalized your customers while it should be your staff to do the goalkeeper job. I asked for a complimentary box of coffee, the manager said there is no such rule. So consumers has no right to protect themselves but has to make sure they buy everything right. Yes, the manager said we can always refund it when we back home to find out food has passed its best consumption date. We need to drive back to refund...... Is it fair? While saying so, I can see there is a few bad reviews on pharmacy service. However, I have to defend that I can see the pharmacy dept. is heavily loaded and stressful. All the team is trying their best, please do not judge any one or all of them only because they do not smile to all clients if they do have emotions. The pharmacy team is like me complaining about short-handed but a lot of work and a day seems never ended. Hey, you are not alone. If you guys are busy and doing it with passion and good work ethics, your good work will be seen at the end of the year when your branch shows good revenue. Keep up the work.

They have on sale Chromebook I'm going to six different stores I didn't tell me they only had wanted to of these items on sale and stock why do they put stuff on sale when they don't even have stock yes I known to get you into the store but I did not buy anything I just walked out I'm tired of stores like Shoppers Drug Mart who puts things on sale and don't have stock then don't put it on sale. Add on to my review today Monday November 22nd I called customer service to complain about what happened I told them what I did and they did not really care at all if his story is nothing we could do but I'll look into it. That's not good enough for me they did not care if the customer was looked after that's telling me they will you don't want my business we all should stand up for that issue of stores putting stuff on sale on promotion I'm not having stock or the employees are not allowed to buy the promotional items that's what exactly happened unless we stop buying from store as I guess they are going to keep on doing what they want to do to us. They need our money to survive let's all stand up and say stop or else they are going to keep on doing the same thing over and over and say screw the customer they're coming anyway

I am critically dependent on eye drops. Last time I came by with the new prescription, their employee refused to accept it since these eye drops were not in stock. I asked if he can order the medicine so that I can pick it up, maybe in few days, or in a week - the answer was: no. Next question was: whether he can check if eye drops are available in any Shoppers Drug Mart in the vicinity, probably by giving them a call, if there is no central database with stock levels in existence - again, the answer was: no. So I had to start looking for what I urgently needed on my own and actually found these eye drops with another pharmacy. They did not have it in stock, however, immediately ordered this stuff, and I picked it up the very next day. Putting down 3/5 since some other employees are actually quite nice and willing to help. I used services of this pharmacy for quite a while, their location is perfect for me, however, with inconsistent service they are providing, I won't be too upset once they will be either closing or relocating - construction is scheduled to start at the Plaza.

I called for a vaccine appointment this morning. I was told they had a lot of testing to do during the day and the earliest appointment time available is 8 pm. She took my info . Checked to make sure they had the vaccine in stock . I arrive at 8 pm. Only one person in the line. The dark blonde pharmacist tells me no one told her anything. It will take her 40 mins to run my prescription into her system and get the vaccine ready before I could get it. Poor admin. Poor customer service. I can see from the other reviews this pharmacy is not run efficiently. I told her I would go elsewhere because in all honesty why would I trust someone to inject me properly if they can’t communicate amongst themselves proper And document their system Accordingly. Update: I called the superstore pharmacy which is across the street the next day. I arrived earlier than my appointment time and the pharmacist already knew I called in earlier. Got my vaccine within 5 minutes of filling out the consent form.

5/5. A great location, friendly lady at the pharmacy, clean customer environment, and very nice lady at the separated beauty section. I asked for recommendations for a gift and she was nice enough to explain to me what is on sale, which gift sets are available, and her own personal recommendations which she didn't have to do. However, she went out of her way to give me helpful information even though I am just coming in for beauty questions. All of those employees were working today September 1st 2023 at 9:30am*** and I want to give them credit for their workplace integrity to the Shoppers brand. Thank you for representing a company in an abuse free, racism free, and respectful manner. I've had bad experiences at other Shoppers locations in their beauty section in which employees were not very friendly to me. So I wanted to point out your chances of a bad experience (could be) a lot lower here.

Shoppers drug mart doesn't care about customer's health. Today i went to this store at 9.45pm for my vitamin d3 prescribed by my physician. There was an indian pharmacist who was working on my prescription, but as soon as it was 10pm, an asian lady started bothering the indian pharmacist to close and send the customer back. She replied that he has been waiting for long, let me finish with his medicines but the asian lady kept on bothering her and came to me and asked me to come tomorrow. I told her that i need to take my d3 tonight, then she said we are out stock. I replied, if you were out of stock then why you made me wait for long. Then she started making excuses on inventory mis-management. If a well known drug is out of stock of vitamin d3, doesn't have proper inventory management and such customer service then we need to look for a better option.

There is a russian or caucasion blonde old lady that was very rude. She was working slow as a cashier and I have told her that was there another cashier available.She was very slow and rude she replied why don’t you use self check out. I wanted to load my presto and she had told me that I need to wait for my school to convert my presto card to a student one and also need to show my student card. I went to another shoppers location they have just converted to a student one with my university card. I reall did not appreciate the customer service that I have recieved from her and if she is not happy with the job she is working why bother work there and lie to people like that . It damages the business …..

One of my fav locations. The comestic person, Dorthy and the blond lady goes above and beyond to help. The short pharmacist is really nice to work with. Don't like the one with glasses, he always yells out my private info front of other customers... I always try to avaoid him. Herold is also so great with excellent customer service. I needed boxes and he ensured I got them. Awesome team but few employees can really try to improve and do better with customer service and be professional. ESpecially that tall glasses indian pharmacist... he mught be the reason I will stop going to that location.

This store has terrible customer service. I went into buy something, the flyer said there's a limit of 2 and exactly 2 items left in stock and the store manager refused to sell me both. The policy says limit 2 and I even called customer service who agreed they should sell me 2 but this store refused. The manager even told me to my face that I can call customer service and even if they agree he won't do it, talk about a power trip. There's a location at Bathurst and Centre that has great customer service and will follow company policy. Go there instead of this garbage location.

This store has the rudest beauty boutique associate I have ever met in shoppers. I have a question about returning. So instead of providing more information about their return policy that I can understand. She literally said “you can get nothing, you used points for it so you didn’t pay for it. If you return it the store will get your gift card.” When is using my reward points means I am not paying for it? And why the store gets my money for return? This is so ridiculous and I would highly recommend avoiding this beauty boutique.

The staff was very helpful to me in finding some product for my girlfriend and I. The products inside are like any other shoppers, so it is everything we expected it to be. The only thing I didn't really find satisfying was the location. Although parking is never a problem, it is a bit of a pain getting in and out of the parking lot during times of heavy traffic. Other than that, coming at a time without cars, you'll be in and out, and completely satisfied in your choice of coming to this location.

At 11pm I went to check in for my flight to Japan, and was gut-wrenched when I was suddenly told I needed a negative COVID test within 24 hours of my flight - which was at 7am. I tried calling MULTIPLE pharmacies but none of them were open or able to do a last-minute test. But Kacori, the pharmacist at this Shopper’s, showed heart-warming kindness and accepted to provide me a last-minute rapid antigen test. She has saved my moving to Japan and I will forever be indebted to her.

Rudest staff. The older women at the cosmetic section Fabrizia most discriminating women i have ever come across. She followed us around took my things from my hand to hold them like I was going to steal them. When i paid their machine would not accept tap and once my card went through she screams “BEAUTIFUL” doing the most for no reason. Then when we came back inside because we needed to go the pharmacy she followed us. On top of that the pharmacy staff was rude as well.

I always loved shoppers, The reason that I’m giving one star is because the lady at the beauty boutique is so arrogant and not helpful at all , today I was looking for Mother’s Day gift so I approached her asking about eye cream she made me wait about 10 minutes and I remind her that I’m still waiting but she didn’t seem to care ! After 15 min I leave the store and went to get Mother’s Day gift at shoppers (located at weston and Rutherford )

Worst experience of my life I suffer from anxiety and need my medicine they barely wanted to talk to me unsure of what they said half the time they muffled there voice constantly and when it came to getting my meds they said they did not have my file and would have to call to get it. After all that they knew I couldn't go a day without my meds and choose to be rude and that they couldn't help me. Worst experience ever. Thanks, Not.

I took my son there just a few hours ago to take a passport photo, I was told to come back on Monday as the printer was not working. I suspected that the lady that had spoken to me was lying....for whatever reason she just dismissed us. I called back after about 1 hour and enquired if the photo center was open, I was told it was and available for service....no one said anything about the printer being down!!!

Pharmacist Kharwar did an exceptional job of juggling calls, requests, pickups, tests, and vaccinations on his own this morning. His colleagues should be more considerate of him and others working alone on Sundays and take the time to spread out appointments on those days. The person I spoke with on Saturday hurried me off the phone with, "come in tomorrow at 11." Way to go, Yogesh Kharwar.

Dyed blonde pharmacist girl treated me today on May 26, 2023 as I am her slave or enemy... worst place for customer service ever I would say and looks like owner and manager of this store never heard about respect for customers, and most of Google feedbacks for this pharmacy says the same

People at this store is clueless and have no desire to keep customers happy. After spending more than 10 minutes trying to figure out how to enter a shoppers coupon, which I have been used in various locations before without any issue, they just gave up and offered no alternative nor apology. Guess I'm not gonna come back here in the future.

The Shoppers never thought twice about selling food almost 7 months past its expiry date. Whomever wrote "EXP" and circled the date is forsaken. Never again trust these Shoppers/Loblaws groceries. They try to sell expired goods at average prices. If I purchased the No Name product at a No Frills, it would have been fresh. For shame.

Just moved to the area and so far I am not impressed. I visited the pharmacy a few days ago and asked them to transfer my profile from a different shoppers drug mart. I also asked them to fax my dr for a repeat and gave her all the information she needed. Followed up a few days later as i didn’t hear back and nothing has been done.

One poor pharmacist trying to give service for dozens of clients. We got our rapid Covid test an hour and 20 minutes (!!) after our appointment. Owners - where are your service standards? Where are the pharmacists that used to work here? Are you cutting costs on customers back?? This location is by far the worst in Toronto.

The pharmacy is very strict. My wife was in a horrible pain after a bunion surgery. I took her proscription for strong pain killer after working hours and they didn’t trust me to give the medicine, even though I have everything. They insisted to be called by doctor at late night!! It is so not humane and rude to patients

Horrible customer service received from the cashier I was purchasing drinks which they told me was a maximum of 4 which I had, but was accusing me that I was buying more because the person behind me was also purchasing was same ethnicity. What kind of garbage service is that accusing customer?

If you need something in Stock I guess you can shop anywhere , but if you actually need "customer service" I did not find the store nor the manager helpful at all. If you want "customer service" at a shoppers go to the Shoppers on Rimrock! Great staff. Ill never go back to this shoppers.

This has been the Shoppers Drug Mart that I have been going to for years. The staff are professional, kind and courteous. Though pricing could be better but the owner of the location has no say over that. The pharmacy team put their whole heart into their job.

Very nice and helpful staff. But pharmacy is either understaffed or just disorganized. Prescription faxed by doctor Monday. Went in on Tuesday. Couldn't find the fax. Phoned Tuesday night and they found it. Phone often busy. But pharmacy staff are pleasant.

The worst Shoppers Drug Mart in town. Very rude pharmacists, and theu do not care of your health. They only pointed at selling their old stocked goods. They do not like to bring medicines you ask. They advise I should go some other store to find out.

There are way too many shoppers in Toronto for me to keep coming to this one where the cashiers and pharmacy staff are always acting veeery rude and as if they were doing you a favor by actually doing their job right . Horrible.

Sign says open today August first for holidays at 8am but it's closed. Bad communication an old lady who barely walks is also checking the sign and wondering why you are closed I have posted a picture of the lady with a cane.

A bigger shoppers with a good variety of items, pharmacy staff is very helpful and do no shy away from assisting when you need to find something but cannot. I generally prefer to come here over the other locations around me.

I was there in February 2023 around 7 pm to pick up my prescription. The pharmacist was unfriendly. Looks like they give me a favor to give me medications for my money. .I'm disappointed.

Same prescription at Wallmart is $38.00, at Shoppers is $52.00! I can understand a couple dollars difference but 35% more for medications is dishonest!
