I don't normally like leaving bad reviews - especially for small businesses - but right now I'm unspeakably angry at how I've been essentially jerked around. I booked my Covid vaccine appointment for 30th August, and yet when I turned up at Silverfields for it, the place was closed for the bank holiday! Whether the fact I was able to book an appointment for a vaccine venue that was going to be closed is due to a fault on the NHS website or with Silverfields's system - I don't know. But the fact is, Silverfields MUST have seen they had all these vaccine appointments booked for the bank holiday, and they didn't contact ANY of these people to tell them they'd be closed and would need to rebook! An absolute farce and a waste of time for what's going to be a whole bunch of people

First vaccine was fine, however I was forced to raise the point during my 2nd vaccine of asking the staff to change gloves and wash their hands in between vaccinating patients, especially after the staff member was holding the base of the actual needle with his fingers. I appreciate many people are being vaccinated everyday, but just because you are not a hospital, doesn't mean you shouldn't follow best hygiene practises when you are medically administering a vaccine. FYI - don't leave the door open where we can clearly see you not sanitising your hands between patients, then lie and say you do!

I have problems with my eyes occasionally and have received good service even in places like Tesco and Boots pharmacy previously, where the staff were looking at my affected eye closely before administering advice. This place is not like that. They didn't seem particularly interested in my issue but also didn't tell me to get doctor's advice instead, and flogged me completely ineffective eye drops that I have to throw away. It would have been less stars if they hadn't provided a good service to the community during the peak vaccination effort.

I am only submitting this review about only one specific issue. Normally it is excellent. But today a young Caucasian woman - a pharmacist or not I do not know - but she sought to give incorrect and unprofessional advice to a 33 year old man about a covid vaccine. The wrongly stated no countries will allow unvaccinated travellers. I was outraged by her disgraceful & unprofessional behaviour. It is NOT her job or anyone else to contradict known risk groups for covid

Have been with Silverfields since 2012. Moving now and I will miss the pharmacist and staff. The last six months I finally used WhattsApp which is a brilliant way to place orders for perscriptions and then Silverfields order from the GP surgery and inform customers when meds are ready to collect. Very efficient, friendly, and professional pharmacy always know your name. Please Hackney keep their size as it is dint sell off the land.

I call and ask for an invoice of the prescription I paid for and was passed on to a 3 different member of staff , and the last person a Gentleman who would not identify himself , refuse to give me the invoice of a product I paid for , the reason. ? I popped in yesterday for my covid jab. The clinic is very well organised from registration through to leaving the premises. Very little wait despite being early. I felt a bit faint after my jab but the clinic's doctor and all the staff were very professional and reassuring. I would reccomend this clinic to anyone especially those a bit apprehensive, they will put you at ease.

Came here yesterday with my Dad to have his Covid booster jab. He's recovering from a hip replacement so currently has mobility issues. The staff were so helpful and accommodating and came to the car to give him his vaccine. Truly grateful to them for doing this and can't thank them enough. True customer service above and beyond what I was expecting. Thank you so much!

Had my covid jab here. Everyone was so lovely - pharmacy staff & NHS workers alike. Cannot thank the team enough for looking after me so well. I fainted due to the heat and excitement and felt like I was in the best hands possible. The pharmacy itself is also very clean and well organized. Thank you again!

I came here for Covid vaccination. Doesn't matter my appointment is at 2.20 they didn't let me in on time. There are people in the queue whos appointment is after me. So I had to book to stand in the queue. They don't care that I have to finish quickly because I have to go and pick my son up from school.

Disappointing service here. Went in for some medicine and the woman gave me a mushroom traditional medicine potion that my doctor told me was totally ineffective. Her abrasive attitude certainly didn’t help either. Wouldn’t be surprised if this place is affiliated with Hillsong.

OMG, how did I not know about this gem of a shop. Went to get my prescription and found out they do fantastic perfume box sets. Got all my xmas pressies from here. Great value for money. The stuff were really friendly and helpful. Thankyou

Rude staff on phone. I phoned to enquire about spare vaccines and the lady put the phone down twice. Understand it's a hard question but would of been happy with "sorry we don't do this" like other chemists have stated.

Went there to get the vaccine and the lady was nice but she didn’t sanitise the table, her hands or clean my skin before the jab and obviously no gloves. In the other room the situation was the same.

I had my first vaccine here, as had my partner a week ago. The system is extremely efficient, no waiting times (except post-vaccine) and the staff are all super friendly and helpful.

This is my local pharmacy and is always helpful and welcoming. They arranged a second jab for me very quickly and was all very efficient and easy. Cannot fault their service...

Never ever will I visit this fake perfume selling shop again. Pay a bit extra and get the real deal from better suppliers. Wonder if everything is as fake as their fragrances ?

Got my booster here, they were amazing. Processing both those with an appointment and walk-ins. And they did it with such grace as the customers were being quite difficult.
