I was blown away by this department store. Such a wide selection of clothes and styles- there's something for everybody. They even have name brands like Vans, Boss, Levis, some I never heard of before but proved to be pleasant surprises. The sales/clearances are very, very generous when you find them. And if an item isn't on sale, the value is still great for what you get, especially considering these brands have stores in the same mall. Simon's own brands, e.g. Le 31, are great for value and durability- better than what you'll find at other stores when it comes to private labels, and there is a broad range of designs and styles to pick from. Shoutout to the guy who checked me out on the upper level Le 31, where all the belts, wallets and shoes are. He took his time and was very friendly. And a very special thanks to the woman on the same floor who saw I dropped a bag from another store, and kept it safe for me before anyone could steal it. She was a big help and saved me from losing money, lol. Very great employees over here, you can tell they really care and enjoy what they do. I wish I had names so I can be more specific, but chances are if you're on the second floor you'll see them! Only complaint I have is that this is the only Simons location in the GTA, but that isn't this store's fault at all. Let's hope with the recent Nordstrom leave, they can swoop in and spread this experience to more towns and cities in Ontario and elsewhere. This will be my go-to fashion spot from now on, and I'm really looking forward to shopping here again. Thank you, Simons

I have very fond memories of visiting Simons in Montreal when I was younger with my mother who passed away a year later. The pink knit scarf and hat amongst other items. When they finally introduced online shopping (or maybe it was a thing longer but I didn't know) I was very excited. I have only been to this location once to pick up an online order (December 2022) last minute before travelling (steamery clothing steamer) and some cute cat dish towels etc. I accidentally broke a glass item in the bathroom accessories section and I was very apologetic and thankful that the staff who heard across the floor didn't make me feel awful about it. I will say there weren't a lot of staff around but I also wasn't needing assistance. I love that they have Canadian made items, clothing and shoes (sometimes this is more online only) and support artisans in general. They also seem to be one of the last retailers to offer a lot of cotton clothing, undergarments (bras, underwear, socks) and bedding/towels. Love that they have a variety of wood and glass bathroom and kitchen items (I'm very anti-plastic :)) Overall, their prices are great, even more so if you catch a sale.

I was cashing out my purchase at the end of a Sunday in the beginning of June. I spent an hour or so filtering through the clothes and found some things I liked. I came to the glasses case, tried on two pairs but they weren't quite right. I had asked the woman who was opening the case what she thought as well and with the most motherly advice she told me there was something better out there in the store and I agreed, her advice was exactly what I needed to hear. She cashed me out a few moments later and while doing so, she told me a short story about her daughter that she is proud of, without giving specific details the moral of the story is that good things comes to those that wait. It's not about the sunglasses I tried on, it's about Maria J's customer service, I've never felt so seen by an employee I knew very little about. Her mannerisms, life experience and overall honesty and energy was a breath of fresh air. By writing this review I hope Maria gets recognized by management in an appreciative way to let her know she is such a servant to the world in her authenticity and just by being who she is - as well as to the company.

I placed my first order with Simons recently and am so pleased with my purchase! I ordered some items from their home wear collection (Christmas theme). I ordered the holiday hound pillowcases, moose hunt doormat, Nordic forest throw and the dancing deer flannel fitted sheet. My order arrived so quickly, was packaged beautifully. My boyfriend and I were so excited to get the sheets and pillowcases on the bed (but we had to wait until they had been washed first). The only complaint I have, which is at no fault to Simons is that the since the door mat has a rubberised backing, i found that the throw really smelled like rubber when it came out of the box. After washing the throw, the smell had gone away. Overall, we are very happy with the quality of everything. The pillowcases are too adorable, the throw is a beautiful patter and super soft, the fitted sheet is so cozy and the door mat is the perfect size. I will definitely be ordering from Simons in the future!!

Though La Maison Simons (or Simons as most people commonly know of it) has surely established itself as a force outside of its home base - Quebec. While it has been here for some time at the Square One Mall in Mississauga, it was not until recently that I had visited the store for the very first time. What impresses you as soon as you enter is the sheer size of the store. It must be covering quite a few hundreds of square feet. The white interior give the store a great look and the aisles of skus organized are done in a very well thought out manner. The cleanliness, the quality of items displayed, the manner in which they are displayed, the unobtrusive manner in which their staff is around to help you...... they all make the shopping experience at this store a memorable one. One only hopes they will keep up this standard for long.

I went to the Miss location on Dec. 9th at around 9pm (store closes at 10pm) to do a return. I am told at the register and at customer service that they can't do returns as their registers won't be able to process them as they've reached the maximum amount for returns for the day??? Seriously? What a waste of my time. What if I travelled over an hour to get there? Customer Service takes your name and number and will allow you to do returns at anytime pass the Christmas return policy date for your troubles. At first I thought I was being pranked but no this really did just happen. Makes me wonder how many people returned items. I've never heard of this before. Very disappointed.

Simons offers an extensive array of beautiful and fashion forward merchandise at excellent prices. The website is extremely user-friendly, fast-loading, designed beautifully and is easy to navigate. I have purchased exquisite women's fashions and every item has been packaged very well. The apparel is high quality craftsmanship and always in perfect condition. Customer service is lovely and responses are received in a timely fashion. It boggles my mind how fast shipping of my orders is and I have received my well packaged goods with lightening speed. I am very pleased with every aspect of Simons and highly recommend them for your shopping needs.

Without getting into the full story - the customer service I just experienced at Simon’s Square One is some of the best in the industry! I had the pleasure of working with Vish, the Manager on duty, who was able to help me with my concerns and find an outcome that left me feeling appreciated for my continued business at Simon’s, while also addresssing my concerns and making sure I felt heard. He was calm, level headed, warm, and funny - even if I came off a little sharp at first. Thank you for delivering on customer service above all else and for making my shopping experience a pleasant one, I will most definitely be back!

I really enjoy shopping at Simons for their unique selection of goods, in-store experience, and excellent customer service. This afternoon 1 week before Christmas, I called the store general line to connect to a dept. about product availability. Instead of transferring my call, I spoke with Tanya, who offered to look into the availability and if the products were available, she offered to placed the items on hold and call me back to advise the status. Within 15 mins I received a callback from Tanya. Simons your customer service continues to wow me! I wish you had more locations in the Toronto region.

For a department store, it doesn't feel like that! Each corner has their own flare and style and feels very unique. It's very well spaced out and their styles are all very reasonable. Home, women's clothing on the lower floor, men's upstairs with the bathrooms up stairs for access. Nice convenient waiting spot upstairs as well if you want to sit and wait on people. Everything is nice and organized/tidy as well. Store is very well lit and doesn't feel overwhelming at all. Staff are very knowledgeable in their section and gives great recommendations! You can also order to the store for pick-up as well!

Beautiful store. High-quality clothing for every age group and occasion. Casual styles for teenagers to sophisticated business clothing, to evening gowns. Alteration service is available for purchased clothing. Selection of purses, backpacks, wallets. Scarfs, nylons, gloves, jewelry, watches. Home decor and bedding. Modern interior with soft music creates a welcoming vibe. Attentive, polite, and helpful staff. This is not going to be like chain clothing stores with loud music and crowded fitting rooms. Reward points are available. Great experience to either shopping or just browsing around.

Yesterday I took a friend to Simons to find an opening night outfit for an entertainment even't he's going to. We were helped by a sales associate in the men's suit section named Marcus who was extremely helpful as we shopped. Marcus took us around the store making custom suggestion for the items my friend picked out, was kind and gave us his honest feedback about what we were trying on. My friend walked out of the store extremely happy and relieved to have found a new suit jacket and several options to style it. Will most definitely be back.

Simons isn't your run-of-the-mill department store - it has arguably the most diverse selection of fashion and housewares in Square One. They specialize in original and exclusive styles; from haute couture and premier European-themed design wear to more common brands as well as their own in-house fashion lines (le 31, djab, twik, etc.). Overall, it's a great place to shop for unique Christmas gifts - and they have some simple yet gorgeous gift boxes, too. The store also has its own in-house alteration service, which is very convenient.

Although I had a very unpleasant encounter with two sales associates at the custom service counter yesterday, I did end up having extremely pleasant conversations with their managers Tran and Jean. Both Jean and Tran were so professional in dealing with my complaints on the sub-standard customer service. Simons truly has great leaders in charge! As a long term loyal customer, I wish Simons all the success in the years to come. For those two associates, I do hope they can take this as an opportunity to learn from the best.

What an incredible store! My friend and I were visiting Square One from out of town and stopped in on a whim. We were drawn in by the incredible colors from the wonderful clothing near the entrance to the mall. We enjoyed browsing through the store, with each section offering its own distinct story. The price points had a nice range, with some brands we could afford! I look forward to returning with my fashion-forward child, who will enjoy browsing and picking something out.

2023 - May Men's review 3/5 - Selection - inventory on items is not the most robust for men's. 5/5 - Service - I felt very fortunate with the staff assisting my very specific styling requests. They answered and delivered in a timely manner. 4/5 - Pricing - Inhouse products in line with the industry standard. The fabrics are in line with industry standard. This is my go to fashion wardrobe store. I'll be coming here often. Special thanks to Omar and the seamstress.

Shopped in their Montreal and Ottawa stores, very nice and bright settings make one happy going thru the products they carry. Staff were very helpful and easy to talk to even during their busy hours. Will go visit the Ontario store next. Are they planning to open more stores in Ontario especially when Nordstrom is now moving out, which will give Ontario shoppers more places to choose? And if they consider opening up a Cosmetic and Skin Care department?

Always a great find to be found at Simons!! Picked up a dress and a shirt. Busy day and had to wait a bit for a changeroom but always a good experience. It's my favorite go to place. You can always find something. Prices are reasonable. Parking free. Housewares is great too. Hubs always finds great clothes here too, really nice men's dress shirts good price. You gotta go here! Oh did I mention bathing suits! Good selection and good price.

I was returning an item that was ordered online and while one clerk studiously avoided making eye contact as she looked for shoes for herself (it seemed, at least), the clerk behind the counter could not have been more helpful, friendly or efficient. This second clerk made my first visit to this store a very enjoyable experience. Oh, and one can return items at any register in the store...a major plus in my view.

I usually experience great customer service at Simons - but today I had some poor service from an associate at the change rooms/ register. I would like to share some feedback more privately. I did get some help afterwards from a really nice associate that turned things around for me - and would like to share her name as well. I can change my rating once I get in contact with someone in management.

Simons is my go to store for shirts—they offer collared shirts in "long" sizes, so the fit is excellent, and the patterns are varied and interesting, and all at very reasonable prices. Also great basics, and houseware items. With Simons you get French culture and style, and you're supporting a Canadian business. It's always a treat to visit the Mississauga store, or the headquarters in Quebec.

This was our first time in the Quebec based Department store. The store is very large and brightly lit. Upstairs us mens wear and home wear (bedding). I was pleasantly surprised by the reasonable prices. The clothing is high quality from established brands. There seemed to be no staff on the floor but several at the cashes. I would say they cater to most ages.

This store is very well laid out, the home section has a wide variety of style to surely please everyone. I always find new things to buy. Large selection of clothing and accessories. Men’s clothing is upstairs and women’s downstairs. The change rooms are great and very spacious. Currently with restrictions the store is not overly busy which is nice too!

Just like another comment. Fix your store hours online. Drove from North York for 45 minutes to pick up a large purchase only for it to be closed. Still like the clothes but I'm super disappointed. You promote double the points for in store pick up and we're met with incorrect information and wasting 2 hours in traffic with nothing to take home.

Good quality items, aesthetically pleasing merchandise, everything looks so good on mannequins. Private label Simons products are really nice. Room for improvement: Small shopping carts/baskets/bags must be available, and I find that the quality of Twik clothing is a bit low. They don't last long in comparison to the price they are sold at.

Simons has the best deals in all of the ‘big’ department stores in this mall and that’s because their clothes are in style and actually affordable. The store is always so neat and organized, and employees are always there to assist. When I came here I had good sale deals with clothes that look nice and are made of nice, cotton material

I ventured into Simon's clothing store at Square One with a little apprehension. However, I was pleasantly surprised. Each sales associate was friendly and helpful and unlike other stores, they left their area to show me specific items. I was there on a Thursday evening and it was a calm shopping experience. I will definitely return!

This might be my first 5 star review. Amazing customer service here. They listened to the issue, and came back w the perfect solution. One thing to note I approached them with a calm and respectful manner and they said that was so appreciated. I'm 100% loyal to them now, and not just because.my name is also Simon.

Horrible! Not much choices, violent prices . Loss prevention guys keep you surrounded as if we all are there to steal ! Made me so conscious that I finished my shopping half heartedly and left . They could have been more discreet. I wonder.. If that was because I am a woman of colour ? Never visiting again !!

Visited the store very first time in Monday afternoon was not impressed by lack of enthusiastic associates on men’s floor. No greetings and can’t find an associate to assist me with my inquiry. I’m a loyalty member and made few purchases online but the in-store experience was extremely poor and disappointing.

I’d never heard of simons until I went to square one but it’s an awesome store. Cute stuff at fairly reasonable prices. There are some pricier items but these high ticket items are nicely balanced out by super reasonably priced. Gorgeous displays and helpful staff. Overall, a very nice store!

Really disappointed after 3 bad experiences in a row, definitely won’t be shopping here anymore. Staff is uninterested in helping customers. Staff at customer service counter try to wait as long as they can before helping you. Also the quality of le 31 clothing does not hold up after washes

My favourite store to shop! The sales are great, and there’s unique colours and items that you can’t find places. The store is so organized. No cramped racks. Associates are helpful. I also love the layout of the store and their concierge upstairs. Really giving you that luxury experience!

Big store with lots of high quality options. Service can be a little harder to find if you need help, and it’s definitely more on the expensive side. But if you need something good that’ll last, they usually have you covered. All the stuff I’ve gotten from here has lasted over 6-7 years.

It’s a good store, although there’s always nobody there it seems. Compared to other simons stores. I only like the section with towels and house appliances. The clothes depends, it’s not always “wow”. Better to wait for sales to come.
