So, normally this is my favorite liquor store. They are super well stocked, usually okay customer service, (it’s never been A+ for me, but usually not bad) but tonight was another story. It was a little over an hour to close. I get it. They’re tired. But we are not the only ones in the store and people are steadily walking in after us. Their card reader was dead so they were requesting cash or were manually taking card info. That’s no big deal for us. When we checked out the guy at the register never acknowledged us. He was writing for a minute or so, looked us, sighed, tossed his pen down and scanned our items. He told us the total and my husband handed him the card. He kept sighing the whole time he was writing and told my husband to sign and add his phone number. When got our stuff he managed to mumble thanks man or something like that. I have literally never seen anyone so miserable about having to take money for product. As we are walking out my husband and I were saying what horrible customer service we had and where another employee or a manager turned and looked at us but didn’t say anything-he just kept glancing over at us as we left. I know it’s late. I know it’s been hectic. But come on....even the slightest attempt at something other than a sigh would have been appreciated.

So last year, I came here to purchase wine and other liquors for a sangria. I was hosting a Christmas party. When I walked in, there was a lady greeting people and offering free samples of something. How did I know this? Because she was greeting, offering samples to, and being incredibly friendly to others walking in after me. I noticed that I was the only black person there at the time and the others that she was greeting were white and so was she. Now to be fair, that could've been a complete coincidence. Maybe she didn't see me walk in. Maybe it was not intentional at all. Either way, I did not feel welcome there so I have not returned since. I normally wouldn't have even cared but because she was speaking to every single other customer and offering them samples, I did notice. Coming from someone who has worked in customer service for several years, every customer should be treated and greeted the same. However, the cashiers were extremely friendly. The liquor itself was a bit overpriced in comparison to other stores in the area.

Employees at the checkout are amazing! Love coming to Sinkers only problem I have ever had was today. This is for the manager or whoever the man was who was given a request from a guest for a specialty item by the extremely nice man working the register. Sir please rethink how you talk to your employees in front of guests. How you handled the situation was unprofessional. Next time maybe take his request and discuss with him how to handle those special requests in the future privately moving forward. You came across super rude and I don’t work for you but I if I did I definitely wouldn’t want to work for you anymore if you talked to me that way.

This location is at the top of my street which makes it extremely convenient!! The owner is amazing! The staff is amazing! And Bill who keeps us all safe is full of amazing! They are one of very few places in my area that has CBD infused water. It's pricey but cheaper than anyone else locally! They also carry what I call, "How to cure the Flu" in a can. The staff will know exactly what you're referring to! It does the trick everytime! Nice people. Beautifully remodeled. Great parking space. Check out their amazing cigar humidor while you're there!! Definitely 5 stars!

Fantastic wine selection and thoughtful store layout, but lately the customer service has been in pitiful decline. Sinkers used to be a friendly and cordial shopping experience but today was the second time this week that I’ve been at the checkout counter and the person helping me is talking on their cell phone while I pay. Maybe wait to take your call when you’re not working? I’ve loved this spot for three years but lately the only helpful, friendly faces are the third-party booze peddlers at the sample counters. Get it together Sinkers - we can buy booze anywhere.

Very friendly and helpful staff. They share their allocated stuff as first come, first serve instead of holding back for special customers, and their prices aren't marked up. I've been able to get hard to find bourbon on multiple occasions and paid less than other places in town. They also do a one per household limit on allocations, because they want everyone to have a shot. If you see someone complain about that, ignore them. I'm happy to support a local store who tries to spread the wealth!

This store has and excellent selection of beer and liquor. They even have my favorite brand of whiskey, Town Branch. The beer fridge is really large and the is a door that allows you to go inside when there is even more craft beer behind the shelves. There are a lot of local brews to choose from which saves me a trip to the brewery. The checkout process was smooth and simple. They had friendly cashiers waiting to help me check out. I will definitely make this my goto liquor store.

This liquor store is amazing it has a giant selection of wines and an unusually large selection of high end bourbon scotches and whiskies. This location even has a cigar shop/humidor. They also offer a full line of mixers and mixer drinks, As well as a selection of soft drinks. They have expanded the store to twice the original footprint since I was there last. This really is an amazing store and there was a lot of friendly staff available to assist.

Y’all I can’t say enough about this place, and their whole staff. I’ve always had pleasant exchanges every time I’ve been in the store. Recently I emailed them to see if they could get in this particular sour I’d had in New Orleans, and they found it, ordered it, and held a case for me. WHAT!? I will forever sing the praises of Sinkers...they deserve a sea shanty of their own I swear.

Incredible selection of all the alcohols. Staff is super friendly. We were buying a massive amount of beer and they helped bring it out to the car and even pointed out that one of the brands had some issues with the cans slipping out of the rings so we didn't accidentally waste any of the beer, which would have been very sad. …

My wife and I recently used Sinkers for all of our wedding alcohol. Amanda communicated very quickly, even when she was out of the country. She also walked us through beer, wine and liquor quantities for a large wedding which was very helpful. We price shopped and could not beat any of the prices, even at large places like Costco.

This is a beautiful, well stocked liquor store. They have keg beer, all varieties of spirits and a wine selection that is amazing. The store manager is very knowledgeable and helpful. Everyone is friendly and goes the extra mile to making your shopping experience easy. I will be back even though I have to travel from Brentwood.

I moved out of the neighborhood in 2014 and just happened to be there and stopped in with some friends and I didn't recognize the place. What the heck happened to that neighborhood? It suddenly had class! Wood floors and nice displays. Things are moving upwards when sinkers is no longer the perfect hobo packy. Well done!

Big on the outside - huge on the inside! I and my wife checked it out and could only visit half the store that day and will have to come back to the rest. Prices are the cheapest I have found so far and too many selections to name. What we bought that day, we usually had to go to three different stores to get them.

Very clean and tidy store. The staff is very friendly and helpful, finding the spirits and wine I am looking for. They also have quite a few vendors come by to give out free samples! Who does love free booze samples? It has also led me to purchase new things I have never thought to try before.

Awesome store, they consistently have good store picks for Bourbon. If you’re looking to get into Bourbon go pay them a visit. They don’t charge secondary prices which is a rarity these days and is the sole reason I continue to give them priority when I shop for anything alcohol related.

I just love this place. The staff there is very helpful and always does what they say. They've come through with getting me full kegs of hard to find beer and even started stocking wines that I can't find anywhere else. The customer service is outstanding and will keep me coming back

First time here and I was very impressed! Staff was awesome and very helpful. Sam was great at check out. We just moved to the area from Franklin and I'm pretty excited that I found my go to store! Bourbon selection was expansive and pricing was very fair. Keep up the great work!

I'm visiting my parents and we decided to try Aviation Cocktails. Our long search for the apparently trendy creme de violete ended here! Kelsie and company were super friendly over the phone and in person. This will be my go to for Nashville booze runs from now on.

Pretty good selection of wines for a small store dedicated to mainly liquor. Organic selection has grown considerably over the past couple of years. Good bourbon options. Prices on par with similar stores in Nashville. Tuesdays there is 10% off wine purchases.

East Nashville liquor stores are generally really sketch and lack variety. Sinkers has some of the best variety (including a lot of top shelf items) and is incredibly safe and clean. Definitely feels like the premier liquor store of east Nashville.

This is my go to liquor store in my neighborhood. It's large, has a nice layout, and low prices. It hasn't failed me yet when I've needed obscure liquors for craft cocktails. The staff has always been helpful as well.

I have been a loyal customer since they were in the old building. The new and improved store is beautiful with twice the inventory, including beer and munchies. The staff are as friendly and helpful as ever.

A well established store since 1984. They don't rearrange much so if you visit frequently you know exactly where to find what you are looking for. On most weekends they offer free tastings on certain items.
