Within 8 months I've came here maybe 10 times. Always for coffee. First few times the coffee was really good, but after that wasn't so great. Which was disappointing. I noticed when it's certain staff, the coffee isn't great, along with the experience, rude, unfriendly and unhappy staff, coffee always is not that good. There are some employees that are very friendly, and on those days the coffee is great. My expectations when going here are that I never know if I'm going to get good coffee or not, as well as not knowing if the experience will be good or not. It's always inconsistent concerning service, taste and vibes. After my visit today, I decided to stop giving them chance after chance. Went the drive through and waited not long maybe 2 minutes for someone to greet me. Unfortunately I was not greeted at all, instead the female employee just opened the window and just looked at me, didn't say hello, not one word, just stared at me. So I had to say hello and how are you to her first, she said fine and didn't ask me how I was doing. Had a hateful look on her face and was rude in her body language. I told her what I wanted and then she told me how much, I paid her, I said thank you and that was literally every word said. That's it. I felt I was the only one talking, felt so uncomfortable, like she didn't want me there, like I was an inconvenience to her, I felt highly unwelcomed. I don't know what her problem is, I felt her problem was with me when there was no reason for her to be like this to me. I get we all have bad days, but when you're at work and especially customer service, you have to do your job and part of your job is communicating with customers and showing hospitality...even if you're having a bad day, we still have to do our jobs. Even if you have to fake it, do your job! You get paid to show hospitality to customers and when you don't do that, you aren't doing your job .Which is horrible for the owner of this business... It's disrespectful to the owner after they've given you a job that supports you and pays your bills, for you to be ungrateful and not do what you're paid to do. After someone gives you a job, all you do is ruin their business and chase customers away, and are rude and mean and disrespectful to their customers. That is so disgusting and people like this should be ashamed of themselves after someone gave them a job. I feel so bad for the owner here. Hopefully the owner can start to weed out all the employees who are not doing their job, and are ruining their business. I felt to be very detailed and very opinionated because it is much needed and I hope the owner sees this.
I should preface this by saying, I've been a customer at Sip for years. Today, I was tasked with getting coffee for work. Admittedly, it was a lot of drinks but I gave them a heads up & also mentioned I would leave a nice tip. I was immediately treated like an inconvenience by the cashier. After I paid and left a $16 tip on a $75 order, I was apologetic about the number of drinks. The cashier rudely said to me, "Yeah, we aren't really the place to handle this many drinks." I'm a band assistant. I go to Sip every time we have rehearsals because they can handle this many drinks. I always try to go in the afternoon when they are less busy, NEVER in the morning do I order this many drinks. I always tip at least a dollar per drink. When they finished making my drinks they called out "150 drinks!!" I honestly can't believe I was being shamed for simply being a customer and supporting my local coffee shop. Trust me, I didn't want to be ordering that many drinks but I was just doing my job and apparently expecting too much for them to do the same in return. I promise never to inconvenience them with my business ever again.
Twice I have gone to the Sip Cafe in the last couple of weeks. My niece introduced me when she wanted excellent coffee. It smelled great, even tho I don't drink coffee. They post a sign of the country's coffee currently being pressed. I spent my time relaxing with some of "Mike's Ice Cream." Creative flavors along with old reliables leave nobody wanting. Toasted coconut ice cream is in now & is not to be missed. Did I hear cinnamon & chili powder? Whatever, another brand new offering was tasted & was great. The drive-thru window stays busy, but I enjoyed the opportunity to kick back inside with free cups of self-serve water, a pastry, and my ice cream, & come out smelling like the richest coffee anywhere. The decor is eclectic like the East Nashville vibe, so don't come expecting the look or attitude of Starbucks. For my personal preference I will take the food, drinks, & prices at Sip Cafe. The many coffee drinkers told me they prefer the addictive coffee at Sip to other corporate-run places.
Went there for the first time today to support local, and was rudely received by the guy at the window. Didnt catch his name, but he was super unfriendly! When I drove up to place my order, he didnt greet me, only rudely asked, "What do you want?" Being it was my first time, I asked a question about how many shots of espresso were in the dif Americano sizes, and he quipped back that "Americanos are a drink, not a number of espresso shots." (But the reason I was asking was because they are made with espresso & hot water..so, the number of shots would determine what size I was going to order.) I was so shocked at his unnecessary rudeness and condescending tone, not to mention his unwillingness to be of service...which is what customer service jobs entail, no? Poor customer service! I dont even know if the coffee tasted mediocre because it was, or because of the mediocre taste the experience left in my mouth! Buyers beware.
Sip is very close to my house, so I was hoping it could be a regular spot; unfortunately, the coffee was awful and the Wi-Fi was weak. The staff were very nice, and I ordered a tasty banana-nut muffin. However, I also ordered a cup of the batch brew coffee, and it was cold, watery, & over-extracted (dull, dry, bitter). If you're a café, drip coffee is as basic as it gets, so I didn't try any of the espresso drinks. They don't list an espresso/doppio on the menu, which suggests even they know they won't pull a shot good enough to serve by itself. I also tried to do some work from Sip, but the Wi-Fi connection was very spotty, even with only a handful of people in the building. Tried restarting my devices, but several websites wouldn't load at all, and many that did took almost a full minute.
*****Update to previous review...Tried something different today since it was very warm. Iced Tea...Green Tea Tropical with honey over ice was very refreshing. Shout out to our drive thru cashier for taking the to draw a palm tree on the cup. Super fun times! *****Update to previous review...Yo! Mike! I LOVE your delicious beverages, ice creams and pastries. We come here almost weekly. Please, please, please, start a customer loyalty punch card program. I'd rather give a local merchant/artisan my money than the corporate pimps, but show a sista some love back. I know you do well, but a move like this could yield exponential increase and exposure.***** The customer service is always impeccable...very friendly staff. The coffee and ice cream are TOP notch!
Service here is boss and the coffee is good as well. Very comfy, homey place that doesn't feel overly hipster- instead it feels like an intrinsically east Nashville flavor. We aren't rich we aren't poor, we're just right. Batistas here are always nice, some of the best I've met in Nashville. They have beans that are cheap and packed to the brim per bag. You know you're getting a pound here. They care about their customers- they don't just have your normal white sugar, brown sugar, etc, here- they have everything from that new fancy sugar that comes from leaves to simple syrup. From the time I entered to the time I left I was taken care of and I felt worth something unlike in other cafes nearby where I feel interchangeable with anyone else.
Sips is an amazing local place with a lot of character. The coffee is great with many options. The hot chocolate is a go to in the winter time when it is cool out. However, the ice cream is really what keeps us coming back. We love how many flavor choices there are and have never been disappointed. The staff have ALWAYS been kind, welcoming, and enthusiastic, and they are very quick to complete your order. There's a drive thru as well, which is speedy. I highly recommend the peanut butter cup (chocolate ice cream with pb swirl and tiny pb cups).

First time customer on a Saturday morning 8:30. Parking can get complicated because it seems to be a popular place and they only have parking in front and side of building so maybe 13 parking spaces. They have drive-thru and take out/dinner in, they also have chairs/tables on the side of the building were you can seat and have your coffee, tea, pastry or ice cream. They have a great selection of tea and all cups sizes are the same price for tea not sure about the other drink options. Service was quick ordered a ginger twist with added agave and it was delicious. Will be supporting again. Highly recommended

I love the variety of ice creams and drinks created here. My second time visiting I enjoyed a butter pecan espresso milkshake while my son had a superhero ice cream cone. I had to help my son eat his ice cream because he is only 2 and it would have dripped all over the place had I not helped and I have to say that the superhero ice cream is one of my all time favorites now. They have a crisp, relaxed atmosphere. Tables and counter tops all appeared to be kept very clean. The bathrooms were attended to several times in the hour that I spent there, and when I used their facilities they were indeed well kept. I would suggest any one I knew to go there if they had the chance.
Sip Cafe is my favorite coffee shop in Nashville! They have a frozen cappuccino that is the best! And Mike's chocolate peanut butter cup ice cream is to die for! Sip has become one of the very few place my husband and I go to since the pandemic began. Everyone on at Sip Cafe wears their masks properly and I've even seen a worker sanitize his gloves. That's commitment. When we need a break from staying at home we treat ourselves to trip to Sip. We are so grateful that Sip Cafe is taking the precautions to be safe, that's why we highly recommend them. Plus they are so nice and have the most delicious ice cream and frozen drinks! Thanks Sip Cafe! :-)
I cherish my little trips to Sip :o) truly a go to local gem. There's nothing artificial about this place. The baked goods are clearly handmade, posters and art from our community line the walls, employees happily chat among themselves and with customers, little situational inside jokes have been typed up on labels and posted around the cafe, the shop plants have clearly been well cared for for many years. All around one of my favorite spots to go to when I want to remember how precious life is.

I have been coming to Sip since it opened. I have had good and bad experiences at this overpriced, but ultimately convenient, coffee stop. Tonight put the final nail in the coffin for me. A bad attitude combined with a bad coffee rounded off my perfectly bad day. Asked for dairy-free iced latte and received an eye roll, a snide comment, and a cup full of SOUR dairy milk and poorly mixed coffee. Yuck. I wish I could say that all the good times here outweighed the bad. Tonight ended with me gagging, as well as ended the love I had left for Sip. Beware of the new staff and spend your dollars on a better local spot.
It's my new go to coffee shop. All I know is wow it is nothing short of AMAZING I was like Starbucks who after one sip! My husband hates coffee, but loves ice cream. So it's a win win here because they have something he can enjoy too! He loves the cookies and cream ice cream, and their waffle cones that they make in house. He just wishes they would never run out. It must be popular. I tell him they can only make so many at a time. Definitely worth a stop if your ever on that side of town or just driving on Briley it's worth getting off for a quick stop for sure.
I hadn't had Mike's Ice Cream in AGES because it's become so impossible to park down near Broadway so i was super happy to see it's sold wholesale now near me! Easy parking, easy to order and a great place to hang out and catch up with friends. I love that it has coffee for when friends want coffee but also ice cream, milkshakes and smoothies for people like me who aren't big coffee drinkers. I also thought the pricing was reasonable, and I appreciated getting to sample (and good sized spoonful samples!) the different flavors!
Neighborhood local coffee shop serving great coffee drinks and teas. Easily a 5-star because THEY ALSO SERVE ICE CREAM here. What a glorious idea! Restrooms always clean. Free Wifi available. Staff is courteous and willing to give ice cream tastes. Seats probably about 30 inside if totally packed plus there are about 5 outdoor bistro tables for 2 (steal a chair make it 3) also available. Favorite ice cream flavor: Loaded Butterscotch. Slam dunk place to meet up for a chat with a friend or friends.
Parents of small people -- rejoice! You can get coffee that is much better than Starbucks without getting out of your car! Before moving close to Sip, I used Starbucks for my coffee needs simply out of desperation. I have three kids under five, so it's just a big production to run into a coffee shop with all of them. Sip has great muffins and great coffee, so it is my regular spot now. We often come back later at night for some Mike's ice cream as well, which the whole family enjoys.
Sip cafe is my FAVORITE coffee shop! In the heart of Inglewood, this old bank location has been renovated and is the perfect coffee AND ice cream shop! My law office is literally 5 businesses down from this shop and I go almost every day! They now know my order by heart and always greet me with a smile and some delicious, HOT espresso beverage! The dirty chai tea latte is my FAV with a little bit of cinnamon on top! Tell them the dirty chai nonfat with cinnamon lawyer sent you LOL!
This is my go to coffee spot. I like the staff, the coffee selection, and the ham and cheese croissants! I especially like the fact that there are flyers on the building, so when I wait for coffee I can search different Nashville artists, and sample their music while pulling off with my nomnoms.

This is a coffee shop and coffee is very good. The coffee used is Drew's Brews. I also use their espresso beans at home! Any Bakery item I have had has been delicious! They also serve ice cream that is made on premises. Great place to get a coffee for you and ice cream for the kids!!

It can get busy around late afternoon, but I havent NOT been able to find something.
I drove by the Sip Cafe multiple times but never stopped because it sounded like a diner to me until one day a bartender told me that this place has good coffee. I saw ice cream as I came in. I ordered ham and cheese croissant with the affogato. I really like the croissant. Buttery and flaky . So yummy . Coffee is strong and ice cream so creamy. What a great pair with savory croissant.

Awesome frozen cappuccino drink! Not to many places have frozen coffee drinks but Sip Cafe does! And they have the best chocolate peanut butter ice cream! Big chunks of peanut butter and tiny peanut butter cups! So good! And the staff are so nice and friendly it makes going there so much fun.

Depending on the barista you get, Sip is mostly exceptional! 4 stars only because there is one barista (that I get in the drive thru) that makes me feel like I killed their cat and insulted their momma every time I drive through, but I just smile and let it slide, because who knows what she's going through to make her so? BUT LET ME TELL Y'ALL, the rest of the baristas are a joy and the beverages are muy el delicioso always.
Best coffee in Nashville! I love this place. Best matcha latte also......try it with oat milk! Another favorite around lunchtime is a coffee milkshake with cake batter icecream!

It is always good. Most of time my drinks have been at least satisfactory, and sometimes great. However, being asked about tipping, before I have even received or tasted my ☕ is awkward. I always tip but a way to do it once I have received and enjoyed my items seems to make more sense. I understand that most people won't do it later and only want to run one charge so I don't have a good solution. Just feedback to consider.
This gem of a spot is one of Nashville's hidden wonders. Great coffee drinks and amazing ice cream in a former credit union repurposed into this delightful little place. they have kept many of the old accoutrements and charm from its previous existence which only ads to the ambiance. While other places in town have better name recognition for their ice cream, The ice cream here is on par with the best in town.
I love the fresh baked crosaints here, but they can go fast. Some days they are out by lunch time. There is indoor seating available and a laid back, cozy atmosphere. But my favorite part is this local coffee shop has a drive-thru.

Ok coffee shop, yummy ice cream, rude and uncomfortable staff. live around the corner and have been coming for years for the convenience and ice cream. Young apathetic attitudes like you’re in a modern art exhibit that you “just don’t get” doesn’t make for good business. I’m here for a milkshake, not an avant-garde postmodern college circle-jerk...mostly I’m mad cause she wouldn’t give me ice cream at 8:59.
Fantastic choices for coffees and ice cream (blueberry cheesecake is really great!). Typically not super crowded, and it's a great spot for a remote work hang. It used to be a bank, and they've left some cool things in place from then. I also recently learned it was either THE or "one of the" last places Robin Willians filmed in.

Good coffee, average/low pricing for the area, free wifi and good food makes it the perfect place to grab a latte and get some quick work done or hang out under the pergola with your pup. Vibe inside is laidback with plenty of space and parking outside getting in and out on my lunch break was a breeze. Thank you sip cafe for making my stay in the area so much easier!
All an all its decent. They aren't very hip to actual drinks. They seem to think every drink needs some sort of creamer or sweetener. You can't just order coffee or espresso without 15 questions about what you want in it. The staff is the only reason to go back because they are friendly. Otherwise, there are 100 coffee shops in Nashville much better than this place
Delightful little coffee stop with a slightly hipster vibe. Dog friendly! "Masks preferred,"but not required at the moment, according to posted signs. Very clean, decent selection of sugar-free syrups for keto friendly drinks. Good selection of baked desserts, if you're into that. The triple berry scones are great! Then, of course, there's the ice cream case...
The shop went up in my old neighborhood about 2 years after I left which is unfortunate because it's really great. I went to go meet a friend and it was at this location. I really like the place!

Hard working staff, decent coffee and ice cream. Terrible espresso shots, sub par pastries. I've tried to like it over the past 3 years because my friends enjoy the vibe. Resisted rating to honor their desire to support local. Today's bitter cortado and undercooked scone-like pastry that was more like a biscuit in the shape of a scone were my last attempt.

Awesome place! I try to come here more than I go to the chain places. My iced coffee/latte is always scrumptious. They seem to be a little short staffed some mornings, I wish Mike would make sure there are a few folks working at a time (cuts down on line length and stress of the baristas I'm sure). And a loyalty punch card would be fantastic!
I love these guys!!! They are amazing, and they know exactly what I want unless I change it up on them. Lol! Anytime that something hasnt been to satisfaction, they apoligize and fix it quickly with 100X the love! This is the perfect small coffee shop I just wish the pastries were a tad less pricey but other than that not one complaint!!
Sip is my go to spot for both coffee and ice cream. Would recommend the oat milk latte with lavender as well as their ham and cheese croissant (ask for it heated up and thank me later). The cookies and cream ice cream is out of control good and they have tons of other amazing flavors too! There’s also a drive through which is quick and easy!
Got a scoop of maple walnut Blondie ice cream in a house made waffle cone. Large scoop with generous Blondie brownie chunks and a creamy texture and obvious but not over the top maple flavor. Then the occasional crunch of walnut mixed with the waffle cone was awesome. Less than $5. Great service at the drive thru window, also. Will go back.
I got a chai tea latte and it was really delicious pretty cool little place and they have some really great ice cream If you're ever in the area you should stop by grab yourself a cup of Joe or a cup of ice cream. I didn't really notice how many flavors they have but there's quite a few in there that really delicious homemade kind of vibe.
What a cool and unique interior! This coffee shop is located in an old bank, and they kept several of the bank's fixtures as part of the decorations. The teller windows are still there, as are several of the safes. The coffee was good, and they also have ice cream although we didn't try it. They could use some more seating.
I came for the coffee (lattes and whatnot). Instead, I got to choose one of their hot chocolate favors and simply added espresso to it. It was delicious! It’s basically like a glorified mocha, which really deserves to be glorified. Will be back.

This place is great!!! My roommate and I live really close and go all the time. They have gotten our order right every time (even when we're brats and they're complicated) and the service is amazing! Cutest little place! We try to support all the local businesses in the area we can and this one is a favorite!!!!!
The coffee is great! Worst customer service I’ve had in years. Use to be a regular a while back and tried to revisit a few times and was treated like I was a complete nuisance. Will not be going again and will warn others. Also, smells gross and was very dirty. P.s. I NEVER write reviews but this was noteworthy
I love Sip Café they have the best cold brew ever but also all their coffee is so good! Husband loves their mocha! I crave their ham and cheese croissant constantly. Also the ice cream is really really good and their portions are generous. Service is always incredible! Probably stop here at least once a week.
My favorite coffee shop in town - the drinks are delicious and half the price of some of the more “fancy” spots in town. The drive thru is super convenient, and the baked goods are always fantastic. Great folks behind the counter and great vibes as well.

I come here regularly and get coffee, which is always great, every time. Scones are usually pretty excellent but they run out of the pastries fast so get in there in the morning if you are really wanting one. Otherwise, there is always the ice cream, which is some of the best in Nashville, in my opinion.
Sip Cafe has THE BEST French press coffee I've ever had and they have a variety of non-dairy or sugarfree additions to add to any drink. I only demoted one star because I had a coffee there yesterday that was the exact same order I always get but it tasted a little burnt wich is unusual for sip café.
A good find. Great coffee and ice cream in one spot, and open relatively late. My iced mocha was especially good. Indoor and covered outdoor seating are lacking just a bit in "cozy coffee shop ambiance" but are plenty comfortable for meeting a friend or sipping your drink while the world drives by.
Nice shop. I gave 4 stars since I didn't enjoy my coffee. It must have been overheated during brewing as it tasted burnt & muddy. This happens sometimes and I would have notified the staff had I not already left. The facility was nice and relaxing. Looks like a great place to relax and think.
Awesome place for that cup coffee, espresso, frappuccino, whatever your heart desires. They even will use non-dairy alternatives for vegans or for those who are lactose intolerant. Located inside an old bank, makes for interesting decor left behind by the former occupants. Great atmosphere.
I ordered a ice coffee with sugar free hazelnut, guy with long brown hair gave me a regular hazelnut,I went into the store to let him know so he’s upset cause I wanted sugar free so he fill the cup up with a lot of cream. When a customer order they should get what they want without attitude.
Went through the drive through got a shake they customized it for me because I'm vegan I got coconut milk and vegan oreo icecream they even gave me a cherry.

Fantastic ice cream and milkshakes! The moosetracks shake is one of my go-tos - they’re all made with mikes ice cream so you know it’s high quality. Solid coffee drinks and last time I went I picked up a divine chocolate croissant. This place is going to make me all fat and sassy.
A cool place to go in sit down with some ice cream or latte and work on your computer if needed. They are a creamery so they can mix up your ice cream cone or cup with a huge variety. The staff is very nice and laid-back. A wonderful and it has a very laid-back vibe to the place

This place is real cute, and let me tell you! I got an espresso milkshake! And it was AWESOME! Get the chocolate ice cream in it trust me. The scones looked soooo scrumptious! Lots of homemade ice cream flavors. So cute :) Snazzy decor and friendly staff too which is stellar :)
I’d love to have tried the ice cream or anything. Drove up at 9 expecting I had an hour to order and get out of their hair. Patio full of people. Shop was closed. Maybe update your hours on google to prevent confusion and disappointment. Or post them somewhere on the building.
Staff is really nice and sweet, the baked goods are delightful, and the environment is nice. Enjoyed sitting outside with a good friend drinking coffee and trying eachothers sweets. Like the vibe, it's a cute little coffee shop in East Nashville and I'm glad it's here.
Nice selection of Pastries and drinks but lacks in quality, the ice cream was good. Overall an okay cafe, though there were some flies and spiders inside.

We stopped by here on our way through Nashville on a whim. The service was friendly, quick, and the drinks were delicious. I'd love to come back again. The frozen latte is a must-have!

The coffee is all right, but the best reason to come here is Mike's ice cream, which is my favorite in town. The staff here always seem really unhappy, and they also seem understaffed. If you get in the drive-thru line, be prepared to wait a good 10-15 minutes.
I’ve been loyally drinking their “Sipresso” (made by Drews Brews) for over a decade. Delicious bright high-caffeine beans. I french press it at home every day. Their ice creams are killer too. Get an affogato, espresso over ice cream. Also, Johny is the best!
Used to be my MOST FAVORITE! Since COVID19, it hasn't been the same.... Takes forever in line, the coffee/espresso is weaker (verified by 3 other ppl, not just me)... And it's gotten more expensive to get the same thing I've been getting for over a year....
It would be really nice if the white chocolate mocha iced coffee tasted like white chocolate or even a tad bit sweeter than straight up coffee. I had to go home and put some Caramel in it to even make it worth drinking. I was not very pleased with this.
I have always had a great experience. Me and my dad and is wife before she passed have and always will be loyal customers. When I come to my dad's my tradition is to always get a coffee from sip Cafe

Cool little hipster coffee shop complete with Wi-Fi and an ice cream shop. Created out of an old bank, they repurposed as much of the original bank as possible. Very cool chill vibe located in the middle of the slowly but surely revitalizing Inglewood.
Drive through homemade ice cream is truly the only thing I’ve ever wanted in life, and their ice cream is tasty! I love their waffle cones as well. The inside is super cool and fun to look around in. The employees are always so nice and friendly too.
A bank turned into a cafe. This cafe doubles as an ice cream bar. Which makes it way better than any other cafe. I can't speak to the coffee, but the ice cream portions are generous. The flavors are standard ice cream shop flavors, nothing esoteric.
Very nice place. The coffee was very good. The ice cream so-so but we had the vegan option.

Parking
Great position on the corner of the street. Plenty of parking.
Great coffee shop, perfect if you want coffee or ice cream. They have tables and chairs outside. Perfect outdoor seating for you and your dog, dogs. Unfortunately dogs are not allowed inside. Also sip cafe used to be a bank. So that's really cool.
When you drink your coffee black it's easy to pick out a great brew. Sip does all French press and the flavor really shines. Also the staff is friendly and it's just a simple coffee shop without the pretense you find in other places in town.
Nice place. Slightly rude service. As if I was an inconvenience to the worker. I'll be back for the coffee.

Iced coffee (cold brew) is solid. If your feeling yourself though get the Expresso milkshake. The croissant's are some of the best in East Nashville. The fact this local spot has a drive through has been super convenient with the shut down.
Another place that should be great, but just ok. Ice cream is too soft....just updating review from 3* to 4*...solid. whatever slight before, fixed. Good coffee, ice cream. Incredible shake (espresso shake, with choc ice cream) fantastico
Coffee is great. Glad this place uses Monin syrup. Note to Management: PLEASE fix your wifi. It has had issues for awhile now. I know for a fact I am not the only customer going elsewhere due to not being able to connect to the internet.
One of the best coffee places in all of Nashville. The atmosphere is great the people are kind and attentive. Did I mention they also have delicious hand made ice cream? It's made on premises. Sips is definitely a staple in our family.
best cookies & cream ice cream in nashville!! we also come here for coffee & their ham & cheese croissants on saturday mornings and it’s a dream. chill vibe, great staff- would recommend! it’s a quaint little oasis in east nashville
Great place to get some work done. Great coffee. Haven't had ice cream there, but otherwise a limited food selection, just some morning pastries **UPDATE: the ice cream is amazing. An arrogato, espresso over ice cream, is my new jam
First time there today, early in the morning. The woman at the window was kind enough to help me pick something out, ahahaha. Only downside is that the drinks seem to be more expensive than what Google posts. Still great though!! ^^
Good coffee, good ice cream, with friendly people who have worked there for years, located in a renovated bank building. I was sad when it moved from Riverside Village a few years ago, but very glad they stayed in East Nashville.
For years Eest Nashville kept asking why there were no local coffee shops. Well, Sip was worth the wait. Ask for their Espresso milk shake made with coffee fudge ice cream. And get a cup of french press to go with it. Good Lord!
The best milkshake I’ve had in Nashville but you have to request it extra thick or it’s pretty much liquid. They are inconsistent with the thickness.

I got to Sip at least twice a week. Great coffee. Delicious ice cream. Feels like a true community coffee shop. It's in an old bank and they have used that old decor to it's advantage. Highly recommend a red velvet milkshake.
Coffee and ice cream, some of the best in Nashville. But men that think they are women and women that think they men. Nose rings, eyebrows sticks, just too weird for me.

Asked for 2 lattes, a small and a medium, the 2 coffee with the same amount of liquid also more milk than coffee, I guess if you pay for a medium it needs more Espresso in it. Hard to find a good coffee shop in Nashville.
Wow what a wonderful place to come get ice cream place atmosphere. Super nice employees. And some of the best ice cream I’ve ever had. You have to try the loaded butterscotch Oreo mint chocolate chip some of my favorite.
I do meetings and interviews and work in this coffee shop all the time. Great atmosphere and environment. Great coffee and tea. Chai latte is where it's at. I used to bank here a long time ago. So, it feels so familiar.
The coffee is served at the PERFECT temperature. It's hot, but you're going to be able to taste your food the rest of the day too, AND it's delicious! The staff is super friendly, and the overall vibe is really chill.
Very hipster and nice vibes. Good tunes and overall great feels forreal. My favorite coffee joint in a long time. It just feels great, creative and well lit, like me!

We are regulars here! The ice cream is delicious and it definitely has a local community flair to it. The prices are very reasonable and they have a diverse menu, unlike similar places that just sell ice cream.
