Originally pre-booked an Alfa Romeo Giulietta Aut with full insurance for a 10 days to the Dolomites with a stop to Verona 1) Arriving at the front desk and was told that the Alfa Romeo has a very low clearance which is not good for mountain drive as it will get damage very badly (the road is actually paved all the way with no off trail) and she knows we bought full insurance 2) She suggested a upgrade to with a extra 30 euro/day (Audi Q3) which we declined. She finally convinced us to get a Minicooper Camden full electric, and the nightmare begins. It was our first full EV experience 3) we were told the car has a battery autonomy of well over 250km (actually 183km per manufacture) 4) were told that we will same on fuel as it’s an electric car (it ended up costing more than gasoline) and there will be charging station everywhere for free lime McDonalds, supermarket. Etc. (False, you need a functional phone with data, download an app and hope it can connect. Super charges are almost inexistant and regular charging station takes well over 4-6h to get the battery up 30%) 5) they gave us the car at 25% battery and we went back to the agency to ask them to help us find a charging station and the staff told us the battery is full at 100% on the left side of the pic and the 2 barres at the right is the RPM?!? And told us everything is ok and just told us to go and never intended to help us (It almost left us stranded on the high way without power) 6) Milan to Verona takes around 1.5h usually and end up taking us over 8h as we where constantly trying to find charging stations and everything down to minimum energy usage (no AC, no fan, no audio even) 7) In conclusion, the front desk knew about our itinerary to the Dolomites windy up and down road and still pushed us to get a city-drive EV car (by the way, we saw less than 3 charging station in the Dolomites) They have been dishonest about the mileage, gave us a car that’s 25% charged and told us it was 100%! Luckily, we were able to switch to a full gasoline at Verona airport after 8h of scrambling around looking for charging stations.
Ho affittato un auto di categoria compact dal 13 al 16 di ottobre. La consegna é avvenuta in tempi eccellenti e ho avuto il tempo di controllare l'auto in tutti i suoi aspetti. La riconsegna é molto semplice data anche la possibilità di riconsegnarla fuori orario. Gli operatori sono fantastici, riescono a ovviare ad ogni tipo di problema con la massima efficienza e disponibilità. Sempre cordiali e disponibili anche con i clienti più incattiviti, anche se si tratta di problemi derivanti da prenotazioni effettuate verso da altre agenzie. Inoltre sono disponibili ad ogni tipo di domanda e si sono presi molta cura del mio problema riguardante l'accettazione della carta di debito. Prezzi concorrenziali sui noleggi più lunghi di 3 giorni. Ottimo servizio. Aggiorno la recensione dopo altro noleggio. Prenotato una macchina di categoria compact dal 4 al 6 di gennaio on line. Arrivato sul posto, grazie alla registrazione dell'account sixt, la consegna della macchina é avvenuta in meno di 20 minuti. NB al prezzo online bisogna aggiungere le spese accessorie che si andranno ad aggiungere. Mi hanno dato la possibilità di sceglie tra le auto disponibili. L'auto (molto nuova, meno di 6500km) mi é arrivata pulita, lavata, sanificata e lucidata. Durante tutto il viaggio non un problema. Ricosegno fuori orario, il parcheggio é stretto ma si ci riesce tranquillamente a parcheggiare, con un po' di pazienza. Purtroppo, data l'inciviltà di un cliente precente che ha parcheggiato in ben due parcheggi, non mi é stato possibile parcheggiare in un posto riservato sixt dato che tutti gli altri erano occupati. Ovviamente, informerò la compagnia domani mattina. Per il resto, tutto lo staff é simpatico e super disponibile.
We rented a car on June 29, 2022. Jack and his associate were extremely helpful and we have no complaints whatsoever about the direct service we received. HOWEVER BEWARE OF SNEAKY UNFAIR CHARGES! Late in the afternoon of Oct 14, 2022 we received an email from SIXT Milano Duomo stating we’d had a traffic violation and we were being charged US $39. It was charged on our credit card immediately. We had no prior information that we’d receive/d a traffic citation! I requested more info and also inquired why giving our name and contact info to the police would be worth their fee of $39. The reply was polite but only cited policy and included a copy of the police citation. We then knew it was not a ‘fair’ citation since it accused us of driving in a restricted inner city zone. Yes we drove there as we passed our hotel but we immediately turned around to park in the hotel parking. BUT we have never received a traffic citation. And now SIXT has charged us a second time! With no prior notice - out of the blue! - another $30+! I contacted the number for SIXT provided for a billing concern, only to be referred to their traffic division, which is of course closed until tomorrow. I did hear their recording, however, explaining that they charge renters a fee if they get a notice that a toll is owed. How many times?! How much? For doing what? BEWARE!
We are very disappointed with the whole process. You claim we have caused damages on the car after the return. We have checked the car thoroughly during our trip. The damages did not happened during our rental. Most likely was there before. The car is in poor shape, rear window wiper blade is missing, wheel alignment is off. This is safety issue! The car had multiple damages throughout. You make it impossible to check the car before rental as you leave it on the street with no one in attendance. We wanted to take pictures but other cars were honking and we had to move the car. Also, rental office at Milan told us we have to purchase 'your' insurance. We told the office (Anastasiia) at Milan that we have purchased insurance through Expedia. She told us this was not a valid insurance. Is this correct? Also why is there a charge for snow chains ? It is almost Spring and temperature is in 50's F. And what is "Minimum excess L' in the charges ? We wanted to see the receipt/charges before we left the Milan office but we were told that the charges will be e-mailed and we were rushed out. Your agent said not to worry about the damages on the car, but after the return you are asking for pictures of the damages. This is not a behavior of a legitimate business.
Worst experience ever, I recommend picking up from different branch not this one.I arrived after working hours due to a delayed arrival so I called sixt customer service and they told me it’s ok you can pick it up the following day and will charge you starting from your pick up date. I went to pick up the car and the agent basically kept using the word because you are late we don’t have the car you picked will give you different one Jeep renegade while my original car I picked is BMW 3-series or similar so I was like that’s fine, then she was like the jeep is a higher grade! So we will charge 50 euro extra per day! And this is the only car we have since you are late or if you want you can cancel your reservation! I had an apportionment and just wanted to leave and wait until they ask for feedback, I was given 7/8 tank and still was charged for not returning full although it was noted, my advice avoid this branch and ensure the tank level is noted or just tell them I want it full if you can wait! It was noted but still got charged so now I have to contact them and share the picture of pick up versus return.
Terrible experience, would not recommend. We had a 15-day reservation with an automatic car for our honeymoon to the Italian Dolomites. We booked ahead because we knew we’d have very technical driving through that alps. When we arrived after a flight delay, Sixt had “given our rental car away” and no longer had automatic vehicles (which I can’t imagine is true). We tried multiple avenues for contacting to inform them of our delay (calling, voicemails, emails) with no response. After nearly an hour of negotiations, and attempting to put us in manual cars that we’re 3x the price of our original booking, Sixt “found” an option for our original price. It was a 10-15 year old manual Mitsubishi that barely got us up a hill on the mountains. Disappointing for a trip we’d planned so long to prepare for and we’ll not be using Sixt again.
Overall a good experience here. The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. There was only one part I wasn't totally happy, and that was the type of car I was provided. Even though I had booked and paid in full a couple of weeks in advance for the BMW X1 (or equivalent), with the other possible variant being the Audi Q3 on the Sixt website, I was surprised to receive the Jeep Compass, which when I looked at other rental agencies were all at a cheaper price than the BMW and Audi. I had no choice but to take it as they wanted to charge me even more for a larger SUV even though I'm a platinum member and thought I was eligible for a complimentary upgrade where available. The Jeep was comfortable and good, though the mileage was very bad for a hybrid vehicle.
I asked in my reservation for returning the car at 22:00 and asked your employee about returning the car after working hours and he said ok for sure someone will be there and i car return the car at this time , i was there at 10 pm i waited for 30 min no one came !!! Its not nice am so angry i go to the hotel and they charge me 25 eur for parking , and then i have to wake up 7:30 yo bring the car to your office at 8 am so you dont charge me extra for another day . Its a very bad experience i will write online on your google reviews and i will not recommend to anyone . ( your staff didnt tell me that after working hours there is parking i can park the car there and put the key in the box of sixt, they should inform me )
They didn't have many options for auto cars on the day I arrived. Mini copper, BMW 2 coupe or Audi A7 while my reservation was a BMW 3 series and I need luggage space. Marco at the station was friendly and patient enough to work out A7 for me within my budget and full coverage insurance. Otherwise, I didn't plan to purchase insurance for my reservation as my credit card already covers most common cars but obviously not an A7. The moment I singed, the car was already across the street without getting down the garage to pick up the car. A7 doesn't need to be mentioned too much, one of the prettiest dynamic matrix LED headlights and tail lights!
Potessi darei 0 stelle! Io e mio marito siamo clienti da ANNI e abbiamo noleggiato a Sixt di Duomo e.. MAI PIU! Ci anno addebitato 1.360 euro in più! Praticamente un rinnovo doppio! ABBIAMO CHIAMATO e ci dicevano di mandare e-mail che Praticamente sono state SEMPRE IGNORATE! Abbiamo messo anche le prove che risultavano 2 fatture di cui una errata! NESSUNO SI È MAI PRESO LA RESPONSABILITÀ DI SISTEMARE IL CASINO! SIAMO STATI PRATICAMENTE TRUFFATI! Avevamo avuto anche problemi col chilometraggio a cui ringrazio Dio che almeno quello sia stato sistemato! NON TORNERÒ MAI PIÙ QUI!!!
Esperienza pessima. Ho chiamato per prenotare una vettura e sia il call center che la reception telefonicamente mi hanno confermato la vettura. Il giorno della consegna mi viene detto che la vettura non è più disponibile e che possono darmene una di pari livello…peccato però non avesse le stesse qualità…vista la necessità e l’urgenza mi sono visto costretto a prendere una di livello superiore ovviamente ad un prezzo nettamente più alto quasi del doppio!!! Peccato che sia un marchio abbastanza conosciuto ma purtroppo spiacevolmente poco trasparenti.
We were here in July and were served by Elham who provided us with an exceptional service, we asked for an upgrade and she was able to apply a discount for us to get the car that we wanted. She had a beautiful energy and her smile was contagious. We rented the car for almost 2 weeks, had no issues with it and returned it in Rome at the airport where the staff was also very kind. I really recommend this agency specially that we have had other bad experiences with other companies in Europe. Special thanks to Elham you are a sunshine
This place has terrible business practices. They allow you to rent a car online but when you arrive to their offices to pick it up they ask for documents that they haven’t stated as necessary in the preliminary renting process. According to them is necessary to have international license in Europe but they can’t prove it or show any legal framework to sustain it. They are not helpful but rather rude. Go to the Avis just by, they will rent you a car without international license, they are helpful and even funny. Sixt is baaaaad!

VERGOGNA!!! Lunedì ho noleggiato un furgone con ritiro venerdì alle 8:30 per un trasloco inter-regionale. Pagato le persone per caricare questo furgone e realizzare il trasloco questa AGENZIA mi cancella via mail la prenotazione arbitrariamente alle 18:34 (bella mossa, perché chiudono alle 18:30), lasciandomi senza furgone a poche ore dal trasloco. La operatrice al telefono mi informa che non ci sono furgoni in tutta Milano per venerdì. Per questo l’ho noleggiato da lunedì precedente!!! PRIMA E ULTIMA VOLTA
Pésimo servicio, no te entregan el auto por el que pagaste, ni hablar de que lo entregan sucio. Además tuve un accidente con la rueda, y no había rueda de auxilio, no atendían ningún teléfono, cuando reclamé según ellos debía esperar a la grúa, me pregunto cómo lo hubiera hecho si nadie atendía el teléfono. Se ve que como son el único servicio de alquiler de autos del centro de Milán, hacen lo que quieren Les pongo una estrella porque cero no puedo poner
If you are used to renting from Sixt in Germany, expect a sharp decline in quality and conditions of cars. Have rented here 5-6 times and ever since time there was an issue with the car (oil, ad blue, wiper fluid etc.). The cars are not handed over cleaned properly and often show a significant number of damages, paired with high mileage. Service is friendly and efficient but expect 20-30 from check in to receiving your car.
استاجرت السياره اون لاين قبل وصولي بكم يوم يوم وصلت طلبت ديزل زاد السعر على كل يوم تقريبا 30 يورو .. وطلبو الرخصه السعوديه مع اني معطيهم الرخصه الدوليه .. الاجراءات سريعه مره وحجزو مبلغ 300 يورو ع الفيزا واهم شي ترجع السياره فل وقت الاستلام نزلت تحت الباركنق لقيت عمر الاردني في اقل من دقيقه اخذ المفتاح قال الله يستر عليك اقفل الفاتوره اون لاين وخلال اسبوع يرجع مبلغ الحجز وفكو الحجز عن مبلغ التامين بعد4 ايام
Mi hanno addebitato una penale per un ritardo inesitente. Ho chiamato gli operatori e mi hanno per fortuna stornato la fattura. Inoltre mi hanno addebitato una tassa di noleggio del 16% che non era mai stata preventivata. La caparra viene restituita con ritardo e dopo svariati solleciti. Visto lo standing dell'azienda e i costi molto elevati rispetto alla concorrenza, questi comportamenti non sono accettabili.
تسليم السياره بعد الانتهاء منها ما يحتاج تمر المكتب مباشرة تروح للمواقف اللي عند المكتب تنزل تحت للطابق -3 اوقات دوامهم الرسمي بيكون فيه موظفين و وقتنا كان فيه موظف اردني بالمواقف ممتاز الله يجزاه خير خلص لنا الاجراء بسرعه.. قالو لنا اذا مافيه موظفين توقفون السياره بالمواقف اللي عليها شعار sixt ثم تضعون المفتاح داخل صندوق المفاتيح البرتقالي الموجود عند المواقف واذا داومو بيرسلون ايميل باستلامهم للسياره.
The staff in the branch were really nice and helpful, especially the branch manager Leonardo who helped us a lot even after we took the car. We had a small problem (engine light turned on) and he was really communicative and caring and made sure we got a replacement car in another branch (and even an upgrade!). Everything was super easy and comfortable, and we would definitely rent here again :)
The team here - Leo and Maria were amazing! Super helpful and friendly, they were very clear with every detail and shared all information correctly. They also gave us a free upgrade to a BMW since we were doing a cross country drive which was really helpful and sweet gesture from their end! Dopo aver noleggiato diverse auto presso la Sixt di Milano Duomo, posso confermare che il personale ha molta attenzione per il cliente e le auto sono sempre pulite e in ordine. Durante il covid ho noleggiato un'auto con molta facilità e gestendo tutti i dettagli contrattuali telefonicamente direttamente con l'ufficio di Milano. In particolare Manuela è stata molto gentile e professionale.
Excellent, fast and efficient service at the heart of Milan! Collection was super easy, and we were assisted by a stellar agent, Anastasia. The car we had asked for was in excellent condition, we did not encounter any problem during our rental period, and the instructions on how to return the car beyond opening times were well timed and more than adequate. The agent (Elham, thank you!) was very professional and kind. I ordered "Sixt Roulette" deal and was pleasantly surprised. Picking was easy: the documents, key and car were ready in minutes. Returning car(Milan Airport Malpensa T1) was very easy and fast too. Overall a very positive impression and I will definitely look out for Sixt when I hire a car again.
I rented a car from this branch, but my booking was for a small car, Luckily I was served by Elham and Omar who provided all assistance and recommendations and I got the bigger car which I drove it 12 days in different countries. Ho utilizzato l’autonoleggio Sixt in diverse occasioni, sia per lunghi periodi (più di un mese) che per brevissimi periodi e il rapporto qualità (competenza del personale, stato dei veicoli, assistenza telefonica)/prezzo è sempre stato ottimo. Mi è capitato di noleggiare un veicolo commerciale (Fiat Talento) e gli standard sono gli stessi. Consigliato.
We were very happy with this small office at the Piazza Duomo. The young gentleman was very kind, we were allowed to leave our luggage for some time in the office. The information which he gave was correct, accurate, not trying to sell us all the extras by force just by gentle explaining. The car we got was clean, working well, on time at the delivery.
As usual, the best experience with Sixt. Very high quality service, friendly personnel. Jack was very professional and answered all my questions in a great customer care manner. He also suggested an opportunity to upgrade the car for a profitable price. The car was simply amazing (Volkswagen T-cross), rode 1300km with no issues. We are beyond happy:)
Jimmy made our renting experience excellent. He gave us clear instructions on most grey areas a non-local would have trouble such as tolls, gas, returning the vehicle after hours and even provided re-assurance that we did not need a reservation from well in advance the day of our trip. The vehicle was perfect and we did not encounter any problems.

Il ritiro e consegna dell'auto avviene in zona C ZTL. Nonostante mi avessero assicurato che non ci sarebbero stati problemi, mi hanno addebitato spese di gestione per 39 euro per infrazione di ZTL il giorno della consegna dell'auto. Ho inviato numerose mail chiedendo spiegazioni senza aver mai ricevuto una risposta. Sconsigliato!
Be careful and avoid. Terrible experience, rude, deranged and aggressive branch manager. Complete disappointment in sixt. Never ever. Into a black list!!! We booked with the app the night before. When we picked up the car, we were greeted kindly and given an overview of the booking. 15 minutes later we were in the car. The car was clean and without damage. The return also went well, but there were few places marked with Sixt in the parking garage. Easy to find the key box.

Le auto sono pulite e nuove. Il parcheggio e' molto stretto e per la riconsegna del veicolo e' complicato dallaa circostanza che, spesso, il parcheggio sotterraneo in Piazza Diaz è transennato. La fatturazione dal servizio centrale di Sixt è complicata perchè sbagliano il numero di P. Iva del cliente

We arrived for late pickup our vehicule and the lady at the reception helped us to collect our Fiat 500. She was very helpful and deserve 5 stars ! We were helpful to reserve and take the car within 1hr. They are also very well located in town. I would recommend using them !
Throughout this whole process SIXT employee from Milano Piazza Duomo was competent and very helpfull. Service and car were superb. Really - don't search, don't try to save few euores - it's not worth it. From now on I will rent ONLY with SITX - this service is awesome.
We had an excellent experience at this location. We did not have to wait and the agent who helped us, Anastasia, was excellent. The car was brought to us across the street from the office. It all went smoothly and it was easy to get out of Milan onto the autostrada.
Ell was an amazing help during the worst day of travel. we booked a car with enterprise, which accepted our reservation but was then closed for business. there were no cars left in milan, but somehow she found us one. it was really great to be treated with empathy.

Awful service. Honestly, doesn’t even believe that it’s Sixt. Booked Audi A5, the agent said the don’t have one and suggested mini with a 50% higher charge. Better go somewhere else, here agents aren’t professionals and trying to rip you off

Transactions are opaque, and they try to add things to your pre-paid auto rental bill without telling you, so be careful. Update: I upgraded them to 3stars after having their manager take care of the problems.

Avoid this place they have very unsavory business practices. They continue to bill our credit card a year later without permission! They lie, cheat, steal. Not sure how they’re getting away with it.

If you want to rent a car from the centre of Milan don’t go anywhere else, just visit them and mr. Jack will do the needful, super service. I am definitely going to apply for a SIXT membership .

Cars are dirty, full with damages and they don’t accept reporting the damages. Better to take a car from sixt the airport.
