We rented a camper van, there were many issues, the main one being that the awning did not work for the whole 2 weeks we had the camper. When we returned the company blocked 30000,- Czech Korunas from our account and said that we damaged the awning, even though we immediately called them the first time we opened it and explained that it was broken. In the end they charged us 2500,- to repair the awning, as they stated that there was a tree twig in the mechanism, but it was from an Austrian fir tree, we were in Denmark! They are a bad company to work with, their customer service is useless and their employees can be very rude and arrogant. I would definitely not recommend using this company, they do what they want, and in essence stole our money without even informing us. Response from the owner 13 minutes ago We regret our rating. There are practically no complaints about SIXT services. Unfortunately, you write a lot of falsehoods here. The deposit of CZK 30,000 was duly returned to you after deducting the damage of CZK 2,450. You were also given a clear and fair bill after the end of the lease. Everything can be documented with digitized handover protocols and official documents from an authorized service center. The defects you mentioned did not show up even during the extraordinary service intervention paid for by us in an authorized car repair shop, and we can document this with the Authorized Service Record. Our team was in contact with you and respectfully and patiently communicated with you for several hours about the supposed defects. The damage to the awning was indeed caused by a twisted twig, but no one solved what kind of tree it was. It is therefore necessary to defend against a lie in a sentence about some Austrian or Danish trees. Once again, we would like to express our regret for your feelings. No mention of anything from SIXT, they just took the money, so we called them. They said that they would be in touch after the weekend and had no other information why the money had been taken from the account. The following Monday they called and said that the awning was faulty because of a twig in the mechanism. When we got to our first destination we parked the camper and I opened the roof windows, and closed the insect nets, they were full of pine tree needles. Obviously the people before us had parked under a pine tree. We were parked under a leafy tree, not a pine tree, and from the photo they sent I have identified the type of the pine tree as an Austrian pine tree. We had not been in Austria, we had not been anywhere where there were any kind of pine trees. I have photos to prove that. Yes, you returned the 27500,- but only after we had been in touch to find out why you had taken 30000,- after the block on our card. You did this without our consent and with no explanation from your side why until we contacted you for more information.

Abych byla zcela upřímná, pronájem obytného vozu jsem dlouho odmítala, jelikož hotel je hotel. Ovšem když to bylo narozeninové přání mého manžela, tak se to splnit muselo. Teď jeden den po společné dovolené v Rakousku kdy byla cesta naplánovaná kolem horských jezer mohu říct, ze to byla jedna z nejhezčích dovolených a nemohu se dočkat dalších dnů strávených v obytném vozu firmy Sixt v Praze. Pronájem na 3 dny byl za krásné a rozumné peníze a celková komunikace se slečnou z rezervačního byl velmi profesionální a příjemný. Vyzvednutí vozu na hlavním nádraží v Praze a vysvětlení jak se vše na voze ovládá bylo také perfektní. Vybavenost obytného vozu pro cestu byla taky skvělá . Cestovala jsem společně s manželem a 9 měsíční dcerou . A opět mohu jen doporučit. Místo pro autosedačka tam je společné se mnou v zadní části vozu. Vše zabezpečeno pásem. Kuchyň kde můžete na pohodu ohřát dětské jídlo taktéž výborná . A koupelna kde jsem dceru koupala úžasná. Velká postel a spousta úložného prostoru . Takže za nás absolutně dokonalá dovolena .

Za brak zatankowania auta do tej samej pojemności co przed jazdą - doliczają serwis tankowania oraz na dodatek paliwo liczą po zawyżonej kwocie , o czym nie jesteście informowani przy podpisywaniu dokumentów i wypożyczaniu auta. Polecam skorzystać z lokalnych wypożyczalni, których w Pradze jest dużo.

Good place to rent a car while in a Prague, better than Budget. Especially when arriving by train it is a really easy place to rent a car, since the company is located at the top of the parking lot. Staff was very friendly, and were patient while we were figuring out some issues with the payment. We rented a relatively new Mazda 2 manual for 4 days with toll, insurance, additional driver, unlimited mileage and foreign aid included for a total rental price of 330 euros. The deposit however was a bit more and came down to approximately 880 euros, which is a bit steep. However, just make sure that you return the car in good shape and make photos of everything that is already there just so you can eventually point it out. The car itself was really good and explanations about how and what were also very clear. It did however take almost a week to deliver back the deposit.

Voiture réservée sur internet avec un retrait de la voiture prévu a 9h00. Très mauvais accueil du personnel qui ne fait aucun efforts en voyant nos difficultés de compréhension, on nous remet les clés et papiers du véhicule mais lorsqu'on arrive devant, on se rend compte que les papiers ne correspondent pas au même véhicule que la cle. On retourne voir la personne qui nous a donné les clés, elle nous fait comprendre de rester assis et nous laisse attendre jusqu'à presque 10h sans aucune information avant que l'on ai un autre véhicule. Aucune excuse de leur part, et manque de beaucoup d'informations. Je ne recommande pas du tout !! Plus tôt dans la semaine, nous avons été a Rental+ à l'aéroport qui a été beaucoup plus efficace et aimable.

Часто пользуемся Sixt. Нареканий нет, машина была новая и хорошая. Однако будьте внимательны! В Чехии действуют абсолютно другие правила, нежели в других странах Европы. Размер франшизы - 20000 крон (около 800 евро, и эту сумму в обязательном порядке блокируют на карте). К этому мы не были готовы (ведь обычно блокируют плюс минус 150-400 евро). Дополнительно в Sixt взяли с нас ещё деньги за намерение пересекать границу (мы ездили в Германию). Эта опция обычно тоже бесплатная. Лимит по пробегу - 125 км в день (это мы знали и построили маршрут, так чтобы вписаться в лимит). Мы, конечно, сами виноваты, что не перепроверили условия, рассчитывая на то, что везде в Европе они одинаковые. Но все равно немного неприятно.

The company should take care of false advertisement - there are at least 3 more tags of sixt company around prague and they were all misleading! We walked around purely for nothing until we found the right place. Renting a car was quite simple and quick, in a very good condition. Prices are not the cheapest but you get good coverage in different cases (depends on the insurance you pay ..) also - we returned the car at the airport - you can return 24 h a day - but the person who worked there was really not patient and gave us no reciept for the car return and actually was quite rude.

Minus 5 stars!! Don't rent a car here. Today I rented one car and returned it but when I return it, one of Sixt employee checked damage and pointed out one scratch. He said that it was my fault but I never made scratched. Feel like being ripped off from them. Problem is that when I pick up the car, any Sixt employee doesn't following us and just saying that find anything then come back to them. However no one check it in detail because usually trust them. Today I screwed up my family Prague trip. In addition, he was laughing us when I complainted. Extremely poor customer service!

if Google had negative stars it would describe my experience better. after reading some reviews here, I understand that this a pattern of this Company- we rented a car and a day after return it we got email that we scratched the rear rim (when I got the car all three rims were scratched and only this one wasn't marked). and they took us entire deposit of 19,000 CZK (!!!). w/o any proof how they calculated this amount or providing other evidences I asked for. everybody who had the same experience- please contact me to file a lawsuit against the company and get our money back!

Se spolecnosti Sixt mam ty nejlepsi zkusenosti. Osobne jsem vyuzila limousine service z letiste, jako prekvapeni pro manzela.Naprosto skvela a rychla komunikace. Ridic profesional a velmi mily. Auto v topu Spolecnost Sixt jsem oslovila i pracovne, kdyz jsme hledali firmu na operativni leasing a spravu vozoveho parku. Opet bych chtela vyzdvihnout skvelou komunikaci a ochotu vse osobne kolegum vysvetlit a zodpovedet dotazy. Vse funguje tak ja ma a mne to uvolnilo ruce k dalsim aktivitam.

Exteremely poor service, this global brand has no option for clients to call branch ( Hlavni nadraziPraha ) directly to ask about available cars despite calling during opening hours. Automated service directs you to request info by email, then you receive automatic email, that you need to wait for TWO WORKING DAYS! whether your preferred car availability. This is typical of very poor Czech attitudes to business generally, but disappointed that global brand picks this disease also.

Pésimo servicio. Había atendido 2 niños que no llegarían a 20 años. Les pedimos un coche y nos dijeron que no había disponibilidad, le dijimos que no era para ese dia, que era para dentro de dos dias, se quedo pensando y nos dijo que no que no habia, sin ni siquiera comprobarlo en el ordenador o algo para ver si tenia coches en dos dias. Estaban jugando con el movil cuando llegamos y siguieron haciendolo cuando nos fuimos, sin ganas de trabajar. Pesimo, no lo recomiendo

For me is one of the recommended places to rent a car in Prague. I had over 10 rentals here in the past 2 years, and in absolute majority of the cases I was fully satisfied. The cars are new and well maintained, the service is efficient and friendly, the location and opening hours are convenient. I am Sixt Gold customer, so it’s probably made things easier for me, but the general vibe of this place is very positive. Just make sure to have your car reserved in advance.

Забронировал машину на один день ,на сайте написали ,что заказ принят и в случае отсутствия выбранной модели будет альтернатива.(как это написано было и работает в других странах)По факту машины нет ,альтернативы нет,потраченное время есть. Кассир даже не проявил инициативу ,что бы помочь,пока его не спросили. Нашли автомобиль у другой фирмы. Научите кассира ,который работал 13.09.2021 как работает с клиентами. Или увольте,улицы поднимать тоже кому-то нужно.

Skvělá autopůjčovna hned na Hlavním nádraží. Měli jsme půjčenou dodávku pro zahraniční cestu, auto v dobrém stavu, jelo krásně, čisté. Auto jsme vrátili o několik dní dříve než jsme plánovali a byly nám vráceny peníze za nevyužité dny. Skvělá komunikace s půjčovnou, kde předem vše vysvětlili. Rozhodně pokud si budeme do budoucna chtít opět půjčit auto, tak se obrátíme na Sixt. Děkujeme.

Dostal jsem auto s najezdem 870km vratil jsem s 3500km vse bez problemu, rychle jednani, 2min pujcujete a 3 min vracite auto. Auto bylo ciste nove asi vyjelo rovnou z linky a hned mi ho pujcili , cena asi podobna jako jinde ale jednani se zakaznikem na urovni a taky spolehlive auto k jezdeni jelikoz skoro nove. Za me super, pujcim i jindy pokud budu potrebovat.

I was a bit worried about the experience due to all the bad reviews but the only problem we had was that the car wasn’t fully cleaned inside. They offered us a new car but we kept the first one. Nice and efficient and we got an almost brand new VW Polo. The office is up on the parking, i.e. no need to search inside the huge railway station.

Very simple pick up and drop off. I received a brand new car with only 1900km on the odometer. It was a free upgrade from the basic car I had reserved; I got a larger car equipped with a diesel engine, automatic transmission, navigation and heated seats. I was very happy overall. This location represents the Sixt brand well.

Půjčovné není drahé, dokud vás nedonuti se pojistit. To se pak prodraží. Bez pojistky je kauce 50 tis, s pojistkou 20 tis. Když vezmu ty zablokované peníze, čas na vyřizování a nabídku konkurence, tak nevidím moc důvodů pro to se sem vracet. Auta jsou ale v dobrém stavu a čistá.

Très bonne agence de location ! Nous avons louer une voiture pour faire une journée dans les environs de Prague. Nous avons eu une voiture neuve (22km). La remise des clés et le rendu du véhicule c’est fait très rapidement avec une grande sympathie. Parle parfaitement anglais.

Very bad rental car agency. I returned a car and they found an old scratch. It was not a long scratch but some small one on the wheel. Really a boarder case. So now they will charge me for that. Terrible that they try to forward charges to the next customer.

These guys are crooks. Do not go there. There are plenty of other honest car rental companies in Prague. They make up charges whether it's car damage or mileage. Avoid at all costs, especially if you're not a Czech speaker.

I had a confirmation for a reservation for Saturday at 11:00 and received an email on Friday at 18:00 that it was cancelled without any solution. I am stuck now without car. No one seemed to care. Real shame !
