Update : I called in a order for my crew on a Saturday, the order was filled to perfection . PSA if you struggle with portion control do NOT eat here ! Skillman Wok gives you a enormous amount of food and the quality of their food is second to none . Do yourself a favor and eat at Skillman Wok ! Ok so I moved away from this area years ago and skillman wok was our go to for Chinese take out . So I decided to make the drive and see if it was still as good as I remember. Well let me tell you it was just as fantastic as it used to be . Great service , friendly employees and my order was ready when they said it would be ready . I had the beef fried rice and hot and sour soup ., all the usual things were in my Togo bag .. utensils , egg roll , soy sauce , mustard , fortune cookie . Skillman Wok is more of a to go Chinese place but they do have a few tables if you wanted to eat it there. Do yourself a favor and get a Togo or deliver order from Skillman Wok .

The combo rice noodle dish was fantastic. Comes with an egg roll and three or four meats including shrimp. The attached picture is of my leftovers, lol. I ate at lunch and brought the rest home and I barely will be able to finish it for supper. And it was only $9 or $10 something, plus tax. They only have canned drinks to buy (maybe bottled water) and the cans are $1, but they had a pretty good variety. It's somewhat small and mostly a takeout place, looks like, but they do have about seven booth type tables (no dividing walls). Not a place for really large groups but individuals and families with children can sit comfortably. And the workers were nice and respectful. Definitely hope to go again when I'm in the area. FYI, I only gave four stars because the restroom was kind've nasty.

Absolutely terrible customer service. The woman who answered the phones and took my order was incredibly rude and demeaning. She was immediately short with me and argumentative. I placed an order over the phone, I got chow mein in my order. When I received my order they only gave me cabbage and chicken. I called about my order and the response was that chow mein is not a noodle dish, but a vegetable dish. The literal meaning of chow mein is fried noodle. In order to have it fixed, I had to drive back to the restaurant for them to spend 25 minutes making a different dish... while my entire order I placed before took less than 15. When I asked for a refund, they refused. Food is decent, not anything terrible. But their customer service ruins the entire experience from ordering to eating.

My first time here. I had a Fantastic experience!! The cashier was very warm and friendly my food came out quickly and it was exactly as I ordered. So much food ... and even though the menu prices have increased (as has everything else) it is still an excellent value. You will easily get two meals out of each entre. I had the Kung Pao Chicken and an order of chicken Fried rice. The Kung Pao had just the right amount of heat to it and was Hot Fresh and really Good. The chicken fried rice was filling but not much flavor to it. This is good for fast food ... but it's not gourmet Chinese food. Thank you to all of the cooks and owners of Skillman Wok for serving good food at a reasonable price.

I was trying to place an order today for some food and I wanted to make sure the chicken was fresh because my last visit I was disappointed in the quality of my orange chicken. It was so hard I could not even chew it and the person that answered the phone when I called said that she remembers me and that I returned my meal last time I ordered and basically told me to take my business elsewhere. Y’all gone lose business if you can’t do anything to guarantee the food is edible. She told me that she is not the one who cooks the food and she doesn’t know if it’s good. She then said maybe I should come order when the manger is in (which she didn’t tell me that information) She then said I have someone else on the other line and hung up in my face.

Should stand together to let them know people should not be disrespected. You could be next. Plenty of Chinese restaurants that as good or better. I'm reading these reviews and shaking my head... People it's TAKEOUT food not a Five Star restaurant. Having said that, this is the best Chinese takeout food in the metroplex that I've eaten in 25 years. The friend rice combo bowl is tasty AND huge. We come all the way from Arlington to pickup, though I also work in Fort Worth. As for environment it's a takeout building. Curt service? The servers probably deal with idiots all day. As long as the cooks aren't picking their noses while they chef I could care less what they look like. This place has damn good tasty food. If that's the bottom line for you eat here. If you want to be pampered go to PF Changs.

If it weren't for the employees, I wouldn't be going here. The owner would rather be rude and argue with you for 3 minutes about how she cannot hold the phone and hang up on you before you can get a word in edgewise, than to wait the literal 30 seconds it took to move money from cash app to bank. She didn't even give me a chance to tell her to run the card again before she argued my ear off and hung up while they were so busy. I had to call back and waste more of her precious time to tell her to run the card again. The employees are wonderful, understanding, patient, and polite. The food is alright and the price makes it better.

Horrible experience. Placed a dinner order , small order, and was quoted a 45 minute wait time. After about 70 minutes I called. She informed me they had a "rush" apologized and said my order was on the way. About 90 minutes goes by and my order still hasn't arrived. It took MORE than 120 minutes for my order to arrive!!!! Unacceptable customer service, she argued I'm not their only customer and they all went out at the same time. I live 8 minutes away!!! I would have picked it up if I knew my kids wouldn't eat dinner until after 9pm!!! They failed to calculate the time it would take with ONE driver, horrible customer service!!!

Terrible service. Called in and placed an order and was told it would be 15 minutes so I went to Kroger to grab some things and kill time. By the time I left Kroger 30 minutes had passed so I hurry to go get my food in hopes it would still be warm at least and the little girl at the register lied and told me it would be 5 more minutes. I look over the counter and the cook had just begun prepping my meal. I refuse to spend my money with any establishment that treats their customers that way. Definitely wont be back. Happy bowl and Bangkok are much better anyway.

Stopped here by accident needed to eat something asap and this place was next off the freeway. When walking in looks a little underwhelming but man my kids won't stop talking about how much they looooved this food. They got orange chicken and combination lo mein and egg drop soup. Loved all of it. Fought over the egg roll. Definitely try this place out.

Staff is so rude. Very curt and send very irritated. Food had good flavor but the atmosphere was terrible. Unbarably hot and tables were dirty all though they had no one at a single table.They do not have water not even to purchase. The printed menu pricing was wrong.A man came in and was looking at the menu and then headed toward the bathroom. The cashier very rudely informed that he could not use the bathroom unless he purchased food..I do not recommend this location on camp Bowie at all. Service is terrible.

This is a small restaurant hidden at the side of a shopping center. The food is great and you get plenty of it. I got the Chicken fried rice which comes with one egg roll and a canned drink. See photo The egg rolls were so good I bought 5 to go. Now for the negative: The cold drink cans are in a cooler that isn't very cold. They have a limited selection. Areas of the restaurant appear to not have received any attention for a long time.

I ordered two plates of general tso chicken ..had it picked up for lunch.. Let me tell you this!!!!!! FOOD AMAZING...I WAS Amazed.. there was so much food that I will have left overs for sure.. so my first thought was it can't be that good since there was so much and I was wrong it was delicious if you never try anything try this for sure

Simply divine. Never had I had orange chicken that was both not too overwhelming in flavor, but not underwhelming at the same time. And that fried rice it comes with??? Excellent— it all is. I would write an entire essay on just how greatly my experience eating the food here has changed my psyche and, in turn, my outlook on life as a whole, but I’ll save my drivel for another time. The food is terrible now :( The crab rangoon's have shrunk by half the size (nickle size) & mostly crunchy wrapper & cant taste much of the filling at all. I looked at the menu online. My selection s came to $44. It said we couldn't order online so we called and placed the order. The lady said $54. normally had a great time and good food. normally and for the past 3 times we've ordered and have been able to substitute tofu in some of the meals. but recently we just tried to order, and the woman was extremely rude to my wife saying "we are busy and that takes too much time." yet again we have gotten it before. I ordered the Chicken and Broccoli “in a delicate sauce” from the Luncheon Special menu, and found boiled goo staring back at me from birds-eye view. The rest of the order was delicious but if you asked me how I was doing after I got a whiff of this, I’d check the box suicidal. Made me understand what Ronnie McNutt was thinking during his Facebook live-suicide stream. Horror.

I've gone here for 20+ years. Never been disappointed once. In fact I moved to Granbury about to drive there now!!! That's how great it is. I'm never excited to drive 30 min one way for anything. But I will gladly knowing I'll be headed home with the best damn Chinese food ever. Always great. Huge portions. Always super nice people. They just have it all!!!

I finally found a great Chinese place in FTW after 5 others disappointed!! This place gives you great food at a good price and it tastes like it’s supposed to!! Sesame chicken, Singapore rice noodles and wonton soup are amazing!!! You’ve got to try it!! I’ll be back for sure!!

This place serves okay Chinese food. It's more of the American Chinese kind than anything else. But if you are hungry and are looking for a good bang for your buck, then this is the place for you. They pack those square Styrofoam boxes to the hilt with food. They are reasonably priced and it is take out only. I will eat here again when I'm in the area.

Not worth a. Photo. I love Chinese but this place is a disappointment. The chicken and broccoli had no flavor at all. The hot n sour soup had a foul taste to it. My sister had beef and broccoli it was better at least a taste. And she had the soup too neither of us for past a few sips and threw it away.

SOOO GOOD!! everything I ordered was amazingly delicious. hot and sour soup is the best I've ever had in my entire life. lo mein is off the charts!!! szechuan beef is to die for. portions are MORE than generous, and prices can't be beat!!!!! everything was amazing and I will DEFINITELY be returning!!

Good food and large portions. You won't get more for the price anywhere. A true hole-in-the-wall place without much ambiance or decor. There are a few tables, but get your food to go. You won't be disappointed. You might be able to find better food, but you won't find better for the price.

A little bit sketchy as you walk in and go up to the front counter but don't worry. This place sells the best Chinese food that I've found so far in Fort Worth! Pleasant staff and not too bad of a wait for some great fresh food

Don't let the outside turn you away!! The food is absolutely delicious and consistent!! We eat there at least 5 times a month its just that good!! We've never had to wait longer than 10 minutes for call in orders even on the weekend!! Absolutely the best Chinese food in W. FtW!!

We love skillman wok. Tonight everything was great except for the egg drop soup which was barely warm and our crab rangoons were extremely over cooked. We got the sweet and sour chicken which was great and the chow Mein, I asked for it spicy and it wasn’t but still good.

This is one of my favorite Chinese restaurants. The service is pretty fast, the prices are reasonable, and the food is always hot. I had the General TSO Chicken, extra spicy with fried rice.

Good, fresh food. My problem is cleanliness...or lack of it. This place is nasty. Doors black with caked dirt and grime, chairs sticky with old grease, trash cans with years of filth on them. It's really gross.

I would have given 4 stars, but I added to one to make up for the idiots who have complained about people not speaking English in a review you can barely read due to the authors' seriously lacking skills.
