I've been in LV for around two years, but only started going to the dentist for a little over a year now. Sky Dental was the first placed I stopped, and I do no plan on changing my dentist for so long as I live in the area (I 'll be moving moving to Henderson soon...you can bet I'll still be driving up here as needed for my dental work). A few reasons why these guys are the best - and I'll share a few personal stories... I've always had a crippling fear of the dentist, and every appointment I would go to (including orthodontist) tended to have a lot of pain, and rushed service. The guys always take great care of their patients, and make the visits as easy as possible...even going so far as to numb up the injection site before they inject numbing agent. Any time I need a procedure they always walk me through it beforehand, let me know what should I expect, the cost, and show me what they plan to do or have done (Dr. Chiu typically takes pictures during the procedure so you can see it). After every procedure they've always called/texted to make sure I'm okay and there are no complications...even after a cleaning I'll receive a quick text later in the day thanking me for coming in, and making sure everything is still good. Extremely flexible with appointments - I've had to cancel last minute a few times - and with walkins. I came in late one day with a lot of dental pain, I think I arrived 10 minutes before they closed on a Saturday, and they looked over everything and let me know what they suspected...which turned out to be true. I don't think I left there until a half hour or so after close. One of my favorite things: appointment reminders. I can't say how often I forget appointments, and lose appointment cards, and I always receive a quick text a day or two prior reminding me of my appointment. I could go on and on about these guys, but google reviews has a character limit. My last comment is that giving Sky Dental 5 stars is a disservice, as I cannot give them enough praise, or recommend them enough. Check these guys out - Dr. Chiu and his team will always make sure you leave the office being well taken care of!!!!

Upon my visit to Sky Dental in December for routine cleaning, I was met with an unprofessional front desk staff member who's also the technician, dental assistant, and manager of the clinic. This lady insisted that I undergo a full mouth x-ray. They spent quite an amount of of time taking x-ray and proceeded to make unfounded claims regarding the quality of the bioclear procedure on my nine teeth conducted at Prime Care Dental in October, which is less than 2 months ago. I was informed that there were purported cavities underneath the bioclear, necessitating the removal and complete redo of the treatment. The lady also mentioned how awful and ugly those nine teeth were, how those could be done better at Sky dental, she said she leaned and qualified to make crowns. This unexpected assertion led me to a formal complaint with Prime Care Dental. The lady provided me with 3 films that have cavity shadow on it, and then I sent it to Prime Care Dental. I was subsequently advised by the dentist at Prime Care Dental that the shadow in the films were not clear enough to conclude they were cavities, so they took another set of x-rays for free at their own clinic. On this new set of films, it was clearly shown no such shadows at all. As a concerned patient seeking clarification and resolution, I reached out to Sky Dental to request the transfer of my dental records and all the x-rays to facilitate the necessary examination, and I'd like to cancel my next appointment with them before the issue is clarified. Shockingly, the front desk staff at Sky Dental exhibited an unacceptable level of uncooperativeness and refusal to comply with this reasonable request. Despite being informed of the legal obligation to provide access to my medical records and the right to obtain the x-rays for review by another dental professional, their response was unapologetically dismissive and obstructive. Not only did they exhibit a lack of professionalism, but also attempted to impose an unjustifiable fee of $25 for the transfer of my x-rays.

Needed a extraction of a fractured molar, they got me in hours after I called... Then after I got there they got me in the dentist chair minutes after I arrived and took an x-ray even though I told them I just wanted it pulled, however they were correct in doing so because it was found to be a difficult tooth to pull. They then carefully explained all my options if I wanted to go any other route including saving it if I chose to do so... I ended up going still with extraction, so they told me it would not be safe to extract that same day and I should go on medication for a week to prepare for what was going to be a difficult extraction... Today was the fallowing Friday and I want to say one major thing, they cared for my comfort and went out of their way providing me with so many shots of Novacaine I lost count LOL... the tooth took two hours to get out! Was a war of a job to say the least. Never once did my dentist get annoyed with the difficulty of the job... I am very happy with what they did and how much they really cared, family dentist is what they are and it really felt as if they were family on my visits so far. I will be using this office from here on out!

I had no idea how bad my teeth were. When I saw the pictures of the inside of my mouth, it kinda looked like a bomb went of. I went in because a crown came off. The crown was actually pretty much a flat piece of metal. It was less than a year old and really had no way of staying on. Long story short, all or maybe 1 less of my teeth have been rebuilt. I have the teeth roots mostly in place. My bite and my smile have been totally restored. Dr. Chiu is the best dentist I have ever experienced. I used to fear getting the novicain shots. He is extremely skilled in the art of reducing pain. Unless you actually experience the lack of pain from those shots, you would never believe it. I would never go to another dentist. I hope he out lives me by a long shot. There are many dentists much closer to me, but I won't even consider them. I am looking forward to them remaking my wife's teeth. She has false teeth now. Sky dental has my loyalty forever. Check them out.

I'm very happy that I found this dentist office so many years ago and have been with them ever since. Dr. Chiu and his staff are very professional, knowledgeable and very kind. They provide a calming environment for their patients, make them comfortable and make them feel like family. Dr. Chiu is an excellent dentist, always paying attention to the tiniest detail and his work is outstanding. I have been to several dentists in my past but Dr. Chiu is by far the best dentist I ever had. He takes his time to make sure everything is perfect and you can feel that every patient is important to him and not just a number. They always give you a courtesy follow up phone call after each visit you had with them, just to make sure that you are alright and that you are able to address any problems you might have. I greatly appreciate that. I highly recommend this dentist office, I wouldn't trade it with any other.

I have had so many bad experiences with dentists I was about to give up! When i decided to do a search for dentists near me and came across Sky Dental, I said "Oh well, let's give them a try". I'm so glad I did! They are amazing! You are not just a 3:00 appointment there, they treat you with respect, and answer all your questions. They took the time to explain all my options, costs and how my insurance worked. I told them I was concerned about my treatment and how much I would have to pay out of pocket, so they called my insurance, ran all the numbers with them and gave me a quote right away. Dr Chiu is such an amazing Dentist! He would pause during the procedure to explain exactly what was going to happen next. Last night I got a text from Tran (the lady who runs the front office) asking how I was feeling. They are out of this world! I highly recommend this place!!

Dr. Chiu has been my and my children’s dentist for 17 years now. He’s the only doctor in his office, so you always know who will be handling your case. Patients are handled with care and consideration. The front office is very detail oriented and makes sure I understand the recommended treatment exactly. My son had a crown done and later moved away. His new dentist in Portland said His crown done by Dr. Chiu was THE BEST HE HAD EVER SEEN! What a compliment coming from another dental professional! So when I decided it was time for me to improve my smile, Dr. Chiu was the only choice for me! I did not even consult with another! He is currently remodeling my smile with crowns and I couldn’t be happier! I now smile bigger and with more confidence than ever before!

Started going here close to 3 years ago because I was in search of a better dentist than what I had before. Turns out I made a great choice seeing Dr. Chiu and he immediately became the best dentist I've had so far. He takes time to listen to my concerns, and whenever I have questions he would explain his answers in detail. He would also make sure that I'm not in any pain or discomfort when I have to get cavities filled. The rest of the staff is friendly, too, and I enjoy talking to them. I also like how they check up on you a few hours after a procedure is done to make sure you're okay. A+ communication right there. So overall, I would definitely recommend them to anyone who's looking for a dentist in the area.

I have been going to Dr. Chiu Chih-Fong for about 4 years now . What a blessing. The Dr. is so friendly and approachable. Always explains and shows me in detail what work I need done. So great at what he does. The staff is amazing as well. Always break down payments to me in advance so I can prepare for work. I have gotten a bridge and countless root canals done and they always either call or text me after the work to see how I am doing! I travel all the way from Henderson to see this Dr. If you are looking for a genuinely caring Doctor and staff I would highly recommend Sky Dental !

I've been coming to Dr. Chiu since I was a little girl and will never go to another dentist! Dr. Chiu is excellent at what he does. He always explains all my options to me and makes sure every procedure is painless. Tran, who runs the front office, is incredibly sweet, organized, and fun to talk to! She always thoroughly explains what needs to happen next after I get a procedure done. She always texts me after I get a procedure done to make sure I'm feeling okay and always reminds me when I have an upcoming appointment. They're the absolute best!

I have been going to this dentist ever since I was little. They are an amazing office filled with amazing service. You will always walk out guaranteed happy. Dr. Chiu is outstanding at what he does. He is very amazing dentist and constantly makes any surgery pain free. I will never go to another dentist after going to this center. Also, the representative, Tran is very sweet and will do anything possible to make your experience with them amazing. I'm in my 30s and have NEVER had problems with my teeth. To be clear i have never had a cavity, I never had braces, and I still have all my molars. Dentist visits for me have ALWAYS been "good job see you in 6 months for your next cleaning." Not the case here. In 1 visit he told me I needed everything from a deep scaling to a night guard, he also said I have 4 major cavities! All of this was delivered with terrible bedside manner and a joke about what good insurance I have.

Dr Chiu is not only a gentle dentist but also a meticulous and accomplished oral surgeon. His staff is friendly and knowledgable, and genuinely concerned for safeguarding our health as their patients. The entire staff does everything they can to promote a healthy, safe, and relaxing environment for treatment of all kinds of dental concerns. A very positive experience!

Because of an awful experience with the dentist as a child, I always have anxiety when having to go. I needed a root canal and Dr. Chiu and his staff were THE BEST. He has given me a level of comfort I did not have prior to visiting Sky Dental. I recommend him to all who have had a not so good experience. He does great work and will put your mind at ease.

I love how Dr. Chiu is so helpful when he does a procedure and is HONEST as to what work needs to be done and how we can take care of it. Tran is also very helpful when it comes to getting health insurance to pay and getting you your monies worth. This office is very detailed with their work and only want the best for their patients.

This is my second time having work done here. Each time I have had work done here, I have been satisfied with the work. Just had a tooth pulled which has to be the least painful extraction I have ever had. If you want great work done please visit this office. And they are never over booked. Thanks doc your the best.

Love these people. Everyone there is patient and kind. They are genuinely helpful The doctor was very knowledgeable and explained everything I needed in regard to my teeth. He also did a great job with my 15 year old teen, and now my wife is scheduled to see them next week. I'm very glad I found this clinic.

Went in for my first appointment and cleaning and it went good. The dentist is very thorough and explains xrays, what he sees and options. The office is very clean and the staff are all very nice! I recommend this dentist if you are looking for a new one. I will update as I have more appointments.
