Come here often, it is with disappointment that I have to rate a 1 star because of the last two visits. Ordered food to receive only a child's portion of food that I was stunned at. When questioning the waitress on why the food was missing,she stated that s&l are changing their menu so you only receive small plates rather than main menu yet we are paying full price. Have attached the pictures of the petty food received and altough you wouldimagine this was food half devoured...i assure ypu this is not the case...this was the full main meals received. Also no toilet paper in the disabled toilet, a very disappointing experience...I'm a regular customer and questioning if I will even return. Only thing good left seems to be the cocktails abd I'm sure they will soon reduce the portion of alcohol you get in them!

Came in for lunch, staff were immediately warm and welcoming. Ordered the BAO buns and fries which was hot and absolutely delicious! Would recommend to anyone thinking about coming in.

Was better when it was a Yates’s. Staff don't seem bothered about customer service. Pretty dull. Asked if they have any crisps / nuts / any kind of snack - as we all know its nice with a beer. Response was vague.(looked at me like I'm making a strange request) - Seems like a ghost town in here. Its a-shame. This pub used to be busy on even a Sunday (when it was a Yates’s) Just wanted something to snack on before ordering my main meal. Will be going to Bottle of Sack now as I know they have Crisps etc. Shocking a pub does not think this is important when it comes to ‘pleasing customers’. Hopefully someone with sense will rectify this.

Visited the Sutton Coldfield restaurant with the family for an early eat. Pete and Ben were great, just the right level of attentive. Food was well priced, good quality and everyone felt there were lots of choices. I had the vegan burger, it was absolutely delicious! My sister, a meat eater, tried it and said she’d order it next time! The two curries were great too. Ps. Love the twinkly lights everywhere. Will go again

3 out of 4 of our party are vegetarian and we all felt there was plenty of choices! The burger was a hit!

There was 18 of us for a baby shower. We had the 6 item buffet and it was excellent. We had an area reserved for us, the food was fantastic and the staff were so helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. I really do appreciate how special you made the event. Really nicely kitted out but the picture frames on the way to the toilets were smashed and the gents smelt quite a lot (unclean) Confused whether it was table service or not so we ended up getting up to order at the bar (still don't know if that's right or not but no one came over) The food came out really quickly (5minutes after ordering) which makes you wonder whether any of it is freshly made or not. Flavours were good though on all dishes especially the buns. Nachos were basic but as advertised and the aranchini were nice and crisp on the outside and gooey in the middle. Average visit

We had a bottomless brunch and it was outstanding. The staff were so jolly and attentive. You could see everyone was enjoying the atmosphere and the food was really good too. We had a coeliac in our party and allergy to egg/dairy, they absolutely went above and beyond to help with selections.

Slug & Lettuce is a very good bar and the staff are so friendly, the only downside is the music on the weekends is a bit too loud - there are some great song choices but it is practically deafening. However, there's a wide range of drinks especially cocktails as there's an amazing 2 for 1 offer. A side note that not many people are aware of, is that the hoodies are not allowed to be worn here.

I came in on Friday night with the girls for food and a few drinks. The food and drinks were great, we have one member of the group who is gluten free and the staff were very clued up on the gluten menu which is always a bonus. We ordered 2 cocktail trees which were amazing and the food was lovely too, all of us cleared our plates. The atmosphere was great, good music with lots of people up dancing, I would definitely recommend.

Amazing service from Pete and Sinead at Slug & Lettuce Sutton Coldfield! Attended for my friends birthday and they gave her the VIP treatment! Thank you so much, we will be back! We had bottomless brunch, food was gorgeous and drinks were flowing plentiful ♥️

It has a new owner & can't you tell , as soon as you walk in totally different decor. I'm not sure I liked it , more of a London cocktail bar than a Sutton Coldfield pup . Not for me , a photo booth in the corner big lights & mirrors . On the ground floor so easy access, but they do have a 1st floor up a flight of stairs . It's very expensive too .
