"Costco is a great place to shop"
Ran a ton of errands here recently, Costco, Home Depot, LCBO and also nipped into Michael's for chalk pastels for my niece. Yorkdale mall is just next door, which is on the subway. Getting here from downtown can be a struggle, esp. crossing the eternal construction of the LRT along Eglinton (10 years and counting...). The Costco is crazy busy, but enjoy the garden centre in the spring. The LCBO is well-stocked and staff are particularly nice here. Also the store is not too busy. I believe at least 6 staff asked if we needed help! What a contrast to Costco! Home Depot was also great: staff went back to the shelf to get us an item which we had ordered online, but whose box had been opened then taped back up. Didn't want to get home and find the item was damaged/not working, then have to return to exchange it ;-) Parking here is great, unless you count the madness which is the parking lot at Costco! Do shop here when we make our irregular trips to Costco, maybe every 3 months or so.
I visited Costco at the SmartCentres, it is always a great shopping experience, one stop shopping for most of your needs. They always have something new, and great deals too. I go in with a list of things that I need to buy, and end up buying so much more. I like the selection of organic products, and the great variety of things that I don't usually see in the supermarkets. I like that they allow independent vendors to sell in their stores. I bought my Vitamix blender at a great price there. It is worth it to buy their bulk packages of batteries. I have bought brand names like Nike there. I bought a Waterpick shower head recently, and a Braun electric tooth brush, which are both excellent. The staff is always pleasant, and extremely helpful. All my experiences shopping there are always pleasant. I truly look forward to shopping at Costco.
This location is chaos. Some popular items were either missing or the remaining ones on the shelves were damaged. The staff were very unprofessional. We came with a gift card and joined a long line. The cashier apologized for the long wait to everyone else in line except for us and acted annoyed when we showed her our gift card. This left a sour taste - a gift card leading to a Costco trip should have encouraged us to get their membership instead, it made us rethink our decision to get a Costco membership based this staff's behavior at this location.
Wonder why nobody can post working hours, I see busy offices and nobody can do such important announcements? Came on 26 December and they closed at 3pm. Prior to coming I could not find a working hours anywhere and there was no announcements. To reach by phone simply impossible - people on this location NEVER PICK UP THE PHONE, unlike the North campus. Ladies in change rooms were also surprised that they closing, some were in shock as couldn't take a shower. Please respect your visitors. It's not hard to clearly post when you working or not.
Costco is a great place to shop. Eddie Bauer pants for half the price! But I have few things to bring to their attention. Recently I bought 2 items, once I got home I realized that it was already opened and I had to make another trip to return it. Which wasn't fun. They should check before they put them back on the shelf. The gluten free bread that they have is with all types of seeds and they go moldy before expiration date. I wish they can get the plain instead.
This location is very convenient because I get to buy my groceries from Costco, my electronics from Best Buy, and hot chocolate from Second Cup. For subway riders it is right across Wilson Station. There is a multitude of parking spots available. The only downside is that the Costco doesn't have a gas station which I feel would be an added bonus. Otherwise, I like it here. And the Costco employees are so professional
Well organized store. I was looking for shoes for my son and the associate was so helpful, she looked in the back for my son's size, as well offer to and called other stores for the item I was looking for. Great experience. Items are usually on sale and usually has better stock than the website has. Would definitely come back again.
Visited the Costco here for some food while in Toronto. The Costco sells out of water bottles so if you're here looking to get some before going away or while you are on vacation you might want to go in the morning as we went in the evening and there was nothing left. We stopped in on 2 different occasions and did not find water.
Insanely busy on April 18th. Easter/Passover crowd in full force. Staff being tested. They did well. Young lady managing line ups had every right to be rude with childish , entitled customers but she wasn't. Professional, courteous and very helpful. Cashier and helpers very pleasant considering crazy day. I always go back.
Great quality, price and friendly service! Another great experience at Costco. Happy to report another great experience at Costco.Folks if you're not a Costco member, become one. I can't say the prices haven't gone up, but I can say the quality is the same, and no shrinking of products, still equals value!
A little bit of everything! I wish it was a more compact plaza but I appreciate the ample parking. When you can get Costco, A&W, Best Buy, and Jollibee all in the same spot, plus it's across the Wilson subway station. So it's convenient AND full of stuff that many people love. It's all good!
Horrible, debit machine wouldn't work for me. Said my chip was damaged which it's not. My card works everywhere else. I have a visa not a MC . I couldn't buy my stuff. Very embarrassing. My friend has had the same experience at other locations. Get rid of those machines …
Great clothing and footwear products, as well as their fresh produce, meats, seafoods and diary, you can buy frozen food as well and sorts of drinks like soda, kind's of juice's and bottled water, they have Cook food's like pizza, chicken strips & fries, sausage's, poutine ,soda.
I literally came in here just to grab a bite to eat! I actually love their pizza...it's only $2.69 and it's a decent slice that will keep you full until dinner! I always go for the cheese because I find the pepperoni slice to be a bit on the salty side, but good nonetheless!
I must say that I was thoroughly impressed by their commitment to maintaining a clean and organized shopping environment. From the moment I stepped inside, it was evident that the store management places a high emphasis on cleanliness, and their efforts did not go unnoticed.
Smart centers in general are turning our cities into vast parking lots, peppered with identical stores in every center. Its cookie-cutter properties, no character. Lifeless and bland. Sad day for ontario when SmartCenters got all these contracts to build their parking lots.
What an awesome outdoor mall... With a Costco, Best Buy and many more large stores. And an LCBO and 2nd cup restaurant... Easy access by car (just across the 401 from Yorkdale Mall (via Dufferin) or walk from the Wilson TTC station (south parking lot, west entrance)
This place is a experience in itself. Truly a unique place to have a quick visit. In my opinion it's important to prioritize taking a break. We are humans not machines. You deserve rest and to recharge your batteries before the next battle begins.
I only go to the beer store there as it is the nearest location for bottle/can return. If Ontario allowed alcohol sales in other stores as in provinces run by adults, I would not need to use my polluting vehicle in such a time-wasting drive.
This Costco is always packed. So if there is something you want you better come early~ this has been my go to Costco for years but I feel the one in Vaughan is a better shopping experience because I can also get gas after shopping.
Parking can get hectic so put on some comfy shoes. Lineups inside can be long, but I see the cashiers try their best to keep the lines moving smoothly. Many items to choose from and always stocked which is good. No issues so far
Always crowded but I like that it's close to my place. You can find cheaper clothes and shoes but with really good quality..and a lot more choices to buy. If you like to buy in bulk it is a place for you.
Love Costco ! I will be shopping there in the near future for tires for my car as I have giving up Canadian tire and lack of helping returning customers to rotate tires that you had bought at full price !
The 2 guys that helped me in the lawn care section were amazing and super helpful. Took the time to explain the differences of different items to me and even helped me load my cart. Amazing service.
I visited here last week. It was very clean and simple. Close to transit such as TTC bus but there is also alot of parking if you drive. Well organized In and out quickly. 5 stars. Thank you!!!
Generally busy with parking available for free but might require additional walking to your destination. Carts maybe randomly placed all over the plaza - which is more like decor these days
It was jam packed with people and cars, the parking lot was crazy and finding a space was next to impossible. Now I remember why I shop during the week in the early morning.
Very busy big box plaza. Bring your car and your credit card. No trees for shade, no outside vendors, no festive attractions, all business, park, shop, and then go.
Good luck finding a parking spot or navigating the store with a cart. Not the Costco's fault it's just always busy. Good prices and friendly staff though.
great location very convenient. Large parking spots. Costco is always busy, Bestbuy has great service. Home Depot has great service and there is an LCBO.
Big box stores for quality bulk or regular purchases the Smart Center complete is a great experience. Costco, Home Depot, Bestbuy are just a few
Preeeety good Costco. Got a hottub inflatable worth about 800 for 5. Not bad. On top of that, they’ve got plenty of side roads for loading lol.
Has a bunch of huge stores like costco, best buy, home depot, etc and lots of food places as well! Enormous plaza and a big parking lot.
These works are woven with excellent yarns from Michael's Store These works are woven with excellent yarns from Michael's Store
Lots of stores and a few restaurants to go to, Costco, Home Depot, Best buy to name a few of big stores. Hwy 401 close by.
Love Costco, great products, even better prices! Customer service is always exceptional and great experiences overall.
I bought the Mama burger which is on special and although it was good I still like the teen burgers the best.
You can get pretty much anything you need between Costco, Best buy, and home Depot. Kinda sweet
Friend people in this location. Lots of selection and stock. Parking was okay.
Went to Costco. Couldn't believe how busy it was for 10 am on a Monday
Nice place to buy phones and accessories, affordable and good deals.
Great place for basic groceries and TV computers, and other goods.
Good little plaza with some cute shops and restaurants
It's a great mall with a lot of wonderful shops
Went to the Home Depot there. Got what I needed
Good location with many different stores
Friendly staff and clean food service .
No gas station. Crowded and overloaded.
