Didn’t wait too long, in and out for a cleaning about 45-55 mins in total. It’s my first time there! They told me I would have a copay up front (very transparent, awesome); waiting area is pretty tight, but didn’t really need to use it except to fill out first-time forms. Place looked clean, well-lit, organized; dentist + hygienicist were nice and made an effort to get to know me/small talk. Which was nice, but not necessary haha. That said, I get that that’s a thing people appreciate. Oh! I didn’t really ask questions except for one at the end, but I think I heard the latter answering questions a different patient had about the equipment and was really friendly/informative in doing so. Receptionist (there were two) was cordial and efficient. Edited August 12, 2022 My most recent time there, I had to update my insurance, which I did when I made an appointment over the phone. The appointment was made a couple of weeks in advance. Gave them the insurance card number, but when I arrived there, the administration said my old insurance was invalid—seems like there isn’t very good communication or a good system to update patient information. So they had to call in office to check—they said they didn’t take my new insurance, but my insurance portal listed this practice as taking it. Overall wouldn’t recommend based on that admin experience.

This place is a complete SCAM! I called to make an appointment for teeth bonding with the intention of having it covered by my insurance which was told to me by the person on the phone. However, they mentioned that since I have already been at a dentist not so long ago I would have to pay out of pocket which was fine to me since the actual service will be covered. When I arrived for the “consultation” they told me to pay in advance before seeing the doctor. I paid the Cost and sat down to wait for the doctor. The doctor spoke to me for 2 minutes to just tell me that they don’t take my insurance anymore as of day that I arrived for this consultation and gave me the out of pocket costs for the service. That was the whole consultation that lasted 2 minutes . I called the next day to request for a refund and the lady on the phone was so rude and disgusting. She told me you are paying for the doctors time. I should be paying for the doctors time to just explain to me that they are not taking Fidelis anymore as of the day that I arrived!?!? I shouldve been told in advance prior to arrival but instead I had to pay money to hear that. Awful experience they do not want to issue me a refund for a 2 minute conversation that could’ve been addressed prior to arrival. BIG SCAM.

I can honestly say, I’ve been through so many dentists in my past that have ruined my teeth which has caused a lot of damages. It severely hurt the last dentist I was at. I came across this office ( Smile By Design) I was still afraid to walk in because from previously past I’ve had. But I needed a great Dentist! I checked out their reviews & asked around, many people have suggested that this is the right one to go to! Thankfully they took my insurance! My first day I was terrified, praying to god hoping this will be one of the best dentists! And I can honestly say, THEY ARE THE BEST! The staff is great, everyone is so nice! I’ve been coming to them for almost a year now. Thank god that there are Great dentists out there still! Dr. Lionel is understanding, calm he knows what he’s doing. I’m sure every dentist is doing what’s right for us. So I say Thank you so much for all you do! If it wasn’t for Smile by Design I wouldn’t be where I am right now! Thank god!

First, when you enter the dental office, you notice that everything is new and you have already a good feeling being there. When you are called in the dental room, all the instruments are new, which is very appealing. The dentist is very kind and takes the time to listen and explain and he assured me that he will be patient when he will work on my teeth without torturing me or not letting me breath when I need to. The assistants and the receptionists are the best in every way, kind, helpful, wearing a mask, which we all know makes you realize that you are in good hands. The dentist also wears one for your info. So 5 good stars from me. If you want my picture, well I will be there soon for my treatment, you can come and take it, I will probably look gorgeous after all is done, not before !! So doc, as someone said, "I will be back" and many thanks from "Moi".

Who doesn't hate the dentist? Well, not this one. The whole office is so warm- from the receptionists by the front desks, the hygienists, and the dentist himself, going to the dentist has become my most enjoyable errand. I waited maybe 3 minutes for my appointments. The hygienist was amazingly thorough. I told her I'm a big scardy cat and she asked me if I wanted numbing gel. Yes please! I was comfortable the whole cleaning. (Very unusual as I'm super sensitive.) Dr Abitbol is so gentle, you don't even feel the pinch of the needle. No, I'm not exaggerating. Nothing. Nada. And for someone who has a low tolerance for pain like myself, this is literally the most important thing to me. I run to get my biannual cleaning, and never put off doing what I need to do for my teeth. I HIGHLY recommend Smile By Design.

I’ve known Dr. Lionel Y. Abitbol for about 4 years ( perfectly done root canal on a molar). Then some bad experience with another dentist office brings me to him again. Now I had to do implants and crowns, which was done in a best way possible by Dr. Lionel. He is extremely professional and very patient, he would take time and explain everything that u have worried about . Five stars also to every person who works there! Friendly atmosphere, no waiting time, very clean, up to date technology! I won’t risk going to any other office anymore. A BIG RESPECT to Dr. Lionel and all assistance for their work!! I wish all doctors would be so professional and trustworthy

My experience was amazing! I didn’t have to wait in the waiting room for more than 5 minutes if that. Everyone is extremely professional, courteous, kind, and knowledgeable ! Most dentist offices are pretty cold and impersonal but not this place. The dentist and the hygienist gave me really great tips and explanations to my questions. Dr. Abitbol is really kind and definitely made the experience as personable as possible. Unfortunately I don’t remember the hygienist name, I just remember she has an accent and she’s really kind and personable as well. Everyone did great and efficient work!

My 7.5 yo daughter had 2 double teeth, so the original teeth had to be removed. She was so nervous to go to the dentist, so I was so surprised when she asked me when is she going again, she had the best experience!! I must give credit where it is due. Dr. Abitbol and his staff gave me the best dental experience I have ever had in my 30 years of living. I was greeted by a wonderful front desk staff and they take the appropriate precautions by enforcing masks and no more than two people in a waiting area which means alot to me. There was almost no wait at all before I was whisked into the dental throne of Dr. Abitbol, where he and his assistant gave me the best experience I was at ease. I had two appointments at Smile By Design that went extremely well. The second was a tooth removal, which is certainly not the most pleasant procedure. The surgery wasn’t long, it was painless and relaxed. The following day my mouth was recovering so well I could barely feel anything from the surgery. I found the staff welcoming, the dentists and assistants gentle, comforting and extremely professional. I strongly recommend Smile By Design and I’m looking forward to my next appointment!

Office staff and doctor is very welcoming and pleasant people, they do everything to make you feel comfortable and overcome your fears of “dantist scary emotions”. I am so happy to change my previous clinic to this one. Went in for my first visit and I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly atmosphere and warm welcome. Can't remember my dentist name but hes the only young man I saw there and he was very informative, friendly and honest. The hygienist took out the time to show me how to floss and answered all my questions in a very friendly manner. Even got into a 20 min conversation with the friendly young ladies who worked in front. Loved my experience and look forward to coming back.

I have had extensive dental procedures over the years. My experience at Smile By Design was exemplary in several respects: caring and solicitous staff and hygienists, the doctor thoroughly reviewed options, used state of the art medical facilities and supported my time table for when I could have the procedure done. I plan to shift my entire family’s dental care to this facility.

Friendly staff! Went in for a routine check-up and the dentist made sure I wasn't in pain during my cleaning. I was also having some trouble looking after my teeth because I'm wearing braces but the doctors were really helpful in directing me to some resources. And now I absolutely love electric toothbrush they recommended. I'm very happy to have chosen them!

I came in for an emergency appointment and the office staff put my info into the computer and led me right to a room in the back. Dr. Abitbol was courteous and professional as usual and took care of my shaky crown immediately. He also explained why it happened and ushered me out in record time.
