STAY AWAY FROM THIS DENTAL OFFICE!!! Once they realize they are not going to be able to STEAL your money they refuse to perform the basic services covered by your insurance, while they admit that the services THEY performed on you 2 years ago might not have been done properly but you paid for them. The dentist DR. KIM and hygienist Nam Lee are nice until they find out they are not going to be able to continue milking you (after 4 years of doing so) then become aggressive and arrogant and use the shield that they are only worried about your health…true is they are there to sell as much as they can to you and provide TERRIBLE SERVICE. I was exposed to terrible trauma and pain while they performed services before, their gum measurements are a lie and always to their advantage in order for them to assault you. They can have you waiting on a chair for half hour until they start working on you while you can't be late or the appointment is cancelled. They will try to force you to spend the money on their "suggested" treatments, they care less about your health, its a terrible office that is only good for ortho but nothing more, they have terrible reviews and comments from patients that are stuck with them and have no choice. Although, girls at the front are nice. By the way if you want a copy of your full file….they want to charge you! yes another small business for them and a way to avoid responsibility. After spending thousands of dollars and being a patient for 4 years you want your file to make a complaint and they make it difficult and want to charge you for it. STAY AWAY !!!

Appointment scheduled for 9:30am-got out at1:30pm.My daughter had her wisdom teeth removed.The office staff was very professional and sorry for the 3 1/2 hour wait.After my daughter fasting for 8 hours prior to appointment and plus 3 1/2 hour WAIT TIME she was nervous and probably very hungry.The dentist SPECIALIST assured us the unclean dental surgery room was clean when we thought otherwise.He already had a unhappy customer prior to us and didn't seem to have any patience left with our comment about UNCLEANLINESS.He said rudely to my daughter if you feel nervous about your appointment today -you can rescedule.Not so easy for us on Medical to to have very many choices once you finally get an Approved for Oral Surgery.Dr.Mirwais Hussainy,DDS-maybe you should cut down on your patient intake so you can provide a more patient caring attitude .Life is to short .Take a Vacation .People don't mind waiting if when your staff schedules appointments Let them know ahead of time you have a 30 patients to attend to for surgery -You will be sitting in the office with unhappy people all waiting to see one unhappy DENTAL SPECIALIST for 3 plus HOURS (hungry people)No FOOD -NO WATERHappy 2016✌️

If you are looking for a family friendly experience to get your teeth work done, look no further! The staff here are so friendly and the take the time to learn about you and your interests, going further then just doing your job. I've been coming here since November 2014 and I will continue to do so as long as I need to. I've gotten my braces there and I'm really proud of the results, as well as getting my wisdom teeth pulled. Dr. Kopecky and his staff know their way around the office and are the friendliest people I have ever experienced in their field. I would definitely recommend this place to all my friends and family.

Let me first start off by saying this Smilecare is amazing. Victoria has been so kind and patient since the first time I called and every single time after that. She helped me schedule an appointment for me and all three of my sons. Victoria also answered all my questions and I had a lot of questions. We have received nothing but great care here. The doctor is very caring and explained everything to us. The hygienist is so knowledgeable and has great skills. She educated us on everything we needed to know about our health. I wouldn't trust anyone else with our cleanings, but her. Highly recommend this office.

I hadn't been to a doctor in a very long time. I was nervous to get everything checked on. However, they were so quick with getting the new patient information collected from me, Tiffany at the front desk was very helpful. My teeth were taken care of in a quick and cleanly manner. I was given detailed explanations of services I needed and scheduled my next cleaning with Tiffany in advance because she wanted to make sure I had a follow up appointment. It seemed they all cared about my experience, genuinely. I'm going back to get my wisdom teeth removed soon!!

I have been going there for quite a few years but this is the very best management they have ever had. The Dr is so kind and caring. She takes her time and always listens to what her patients want and works with them. The receptionists are the very best. They really know how to schedule the appointments. I never have to wait more then 5 mins before being seen. Wow! That is amazing!! Before I always has to wait 30 to 45 mins before being see. Kudos to the office manager Tiffany. Thanks to all of you.

Terrible customer service. Referred my son to pediatric dentist and they never sent correct referral after advising me that they did. While at the appointment for my son they said they didn’t have time to call the insurance for the proper form. Instead of apologing and fixing the issue I had to call myself and have paper work faxed to their office for them to do their job. No regard for my son being in pain they have no patient care whatsoever. Because of them my son can not be seen for over a week

Everyone at the Kearny Mesa location are really nice and do a great job! My girlfriend had to have an emergency root canal and crown done and they took care of everything. We did have one issue with our insurance (Guardian) where Dr Verin was not in network but Victoria in the office is working to resolve the issue with Guardian as all the other dentists are, I really appreciate her doing that for us. Update: Victoria came through! A great dentist office to work with!

These 5 star reviews are so obviously fake. If they add another 5 stars every month, then the truth gets diluted. The office is old and run down. Their practice offers every possible service, whether you need it or not - This is unfortunately common in today's dental practice. Expect to be charged the max for both insurance covered and out of pocket fees. Rinse water tasted like mildew, which hopefully is not a health risk. At least the office staff was very helpful.

The Smilecare team have made me feel as comfortable as possible with dental work that I don't look forward to. I have had 3 appointments in the last several months and their staff is first rate. Their insurance specialist was able to lower the cost of my treatment plan by scheduling the services I needed around what worked best with my insurance plan. I will continue to visit this office for treatment.

Super slow. Lost our impressions. We went into this office for orthodontics evaluation. Its now been 6 months and still no response from this office. I leave messages no one calls back or the person i need is not on the office. What a waste of my time. Now we have to start all over with the whole evaluation because they lost the impression. Im warning you, don't waste your time. Go somewhere else!

I came in for an initial exam and had a great experience. The front office was very welcoming and made me feel comfortable from the minute I entered the door by greeting me and offering me water. Dr. Verin explained to me everything that was needed. Victoria explained my insurance benefits and I had my cleaning and fillings done the same day. The whole process was fast and painless.

This place has changed my smile completely changing my life. They are so caring, know you by name and work with any situation you have going on. Always going above and beyond, the front staff insures your comfortability in the entire process from dental work to billing. I wouldn't have this experience anywhere else. Don't go here. - Service is slow / disorganized. I was kept waiting in the dentist's chair for over 20 minutes on a couple appointments. - They give an uncomfortable amount of pressure for more treatments. (Tip: almost no insurance will reimburse for more than two cleanings a year!) - I also experienced a billing mix-up that took a dozen phone calls to resolve.

This place is a rip off. Even with insurance they made sure I sign for a $5000 loan BEFORE they even preformed scheduled cleaning. I went to another dentist and the same procedures cost me less than $250 Seriously AVOID this place like the plague. Absolute highway robbery. Find yourself a small dentist office this is a slaughter house.

Amazing staff all around... Great with both kids and adults. Very personable with their patient. I'm usually scared to go to the dentist, but they made me feel at ease. Horrible experience! Dentist pricked my tongue with needle, swollen tongue for almost two weeks, also had a root canal done here that has been looked at by another dentist who has told me and showed me that a pin was put in incorrectly and now I have to take out the whole tooth. Don't go there.

Everyone there was not only friendly but they were professional. From the moment we walked in we we were greeted by the office manager Tiffany and she made sure we were taken care of from beginning to end! The whole office seemed to work well together and that made it an easy/SMOOTH visit!

Victoria is amazing, super helpful and made our first experience very smooth. The dental assistant was great with my 4yo who is deathly afraid of doctors' offices. The pediatric specialist, Dr Ruth Bol, was very informative, down to earth, and provided same day oral surgery!

Staff is friendly and welcoming (and gentle! No one loves to go to the dentist, but they make it as comfortable and easy as possible). I've been bringing my kids and myself here for a couple years now. I love that they know us by name when we walk in the door!

Gave me an innaccuratey-low price quote to get me to book an appointment to find out the prices were double what I was told when I arrived. They seem sketchy due to their lack of transparency and clarity.
